SwingPoints

Swing points are the areas on the chart where prices change direction. This indicator helps determine those swing points and filters out noise. Some use swing points to identify support and resistance. Others group the swing points to examine the differences and even others utilize these swing points in swing trade systems. The indicator has the ability to send push notifications, email alerts, or on-screen alerts at your discretion. Following is a list of setting for the swing points indicator.

  • Alerts="Settings for Alerts"
  • PushNotifications=true if you wish to receive push notifications, false if you do not.
  • EmailAlerts=true if you wish to receive email notifications, email settings would need to be setup within your MetaTrader environment. Choose false if you do not wish to receive email notifications.
  • OnScreenAlerts=true; if you wish to see on-screen alerts. False if you do not want on-screen alerts.
  • MajorSwingPointsAlerts = true if you wish to receive alerts on major swing points. This works in conjunction with the type of alert you wish to receive chosen above. Choose false if you do not wish to receive alerts on major swing points.
  • MinorSwingPointsAlerts = true if you wish to receive alerts on minor swing points. This works in conjunction with the type of alert you wish to receive chosen above. Choose false if you do not wish to receive alerts on minor swing points.
