Welcome to SmartPropAi! This guide will walk you through every step from purchasing the EA to configuring it for optimal performance.

Installation Guide

Step 1: Purchase & Download from MQL5

After Purchase:

1. Open MetaTrader 5
2. Navigate to Market Tab
   • Click on View → Toolbox (or press Ctrl+T )
   • Click on the Market tab in the Toolbox window
3. Access Your Products
   • Click on Purchases at the top of the Market tab
   • Log in with your MQL5 account if prompted
   • Find SmartPropAi V1.0 in your purchased products list
4. Download the EA
   • Right-click on SmartPropAi V1.0
   • Select Download or Install
   • Wait for the download to complete
   • You should see a success message

Step 2: Verify Installation

1. Open Navigator Window
   • Press Ctrl+N or click View → Navigator
2. Locate the EA
   • In Navigator, expand Expert Advisors
   • You should see SmartPropAi_V1.0 in the list
   • If you don't see it, right-click in the Navigator and select Refresh

Step 3: Enable WebRequest (CRITICAL STEP)

1. Open MT5 Options
   • Click Tools → Options (or press Ctrl+O )
2. Navigate to Expert Advisors Tab
   • Click on the Expert Advisors tab
3. Allow WebRequest for Listed URL
   • Check the box: Allow WebRequest for listed URL
   • Click the Add button
   • Enter the following URL exactly as shown:

   https://api.openai.com
   https://script.google.com
   https://script.googleusercontent.com

   • Click OK
4. Enable Expert Advisors
   • Make sure the following box is checked:
   • ✅ Allow automated trading
   • Click OK to save settings

Step 4: Attach EA to Chart

1. Open a Chart
   • Open any currency pair chart (e.g., EURUSD, GBPUSD, etc.)

2. Attach the EA
   • Method 1: Drag and drop SmartPropAi_V1.0 from Navigator onto the chart
   • Method 2: Right-click on the chart → Expert Advisors → SmartPropAi_V1.0
3. Configure Settings
   • The EA settings window will appear automatically
   • See the below for detailed configuration
   • For quick start, use these recommended settings:
   • AI Mode: true (enable AI trading)
   • Fixed Lot Size: 0.01 (or your preferred size)
   • Max Drawdown Percent: 4.0% (recommended for prop firms)
   • Show Panel: true (to see the dashboard)
4. Allow Trading
   • Check the box at the bottom:
   • ✅ Allow Algo Trading
   • Click OK

Step 5: Verify EA is Running

1. Check Chart Indicators
   • You should see a blue hat icon in the top-right corner of the chart
   • If the hat is gray, or is missing, the EA is not running properly
2. Check Auto Trading Button
   • At the top toolbar, click the Algo Trading button to enable it
   • The button should be GREEN/highlighted when active
   • If it's Red, click it to activate
3. Check Terminal Logs
   • Open Terminal: View → Toolbox (or Ctrl+T )
   • Click the Experts tab
   • You should see initialization messages like:

4. Check Dashboard Panel
   • If Show Panel = true , you should see the SmartPropAi dashboard on your chart
   • The panel shows real-time account stats, trade history, and AI status

Step 6: Initial Configuration Check

Before trading, verify these settings:

For Prop Firm Challenge Accounts:

• ✅ AI Mode: true
• ✅ Lot Mode: Automatic
• ✅ Scalp Trade Risk: 0.50%
• ✅ Day Trade Risk: 1.0%
• ✅ Swing Trade Risk: 2.0%
• ✅ Max Drawdown Percent: 4.0% (adjust to your firm's rules)
• ✅ Max Trades Per Day: 10-15
• ✅ Enable Randomizer: true (recommended for prop firms)
• ✅ Show Panel: true

For Prop Firm Funded Accounts:

• ✅ AI Mode: true
• ✅ Lot Mode: Automatic
• ✅ Scalp Trade Risk: 0.25% (more conservative to protect funding)
• ✅ Day Trade Risk: 0.50% (more conservative to protect funding)
• ✅ Swing Trade Risk: 1.0% (more conservative to protect funding)
• ✅ Max Drawdown Percent: 3.0% (strict protection)
• ✅ Max Trades Per Day: 8-10
• ✅ Enable Randomizer: true or false (check firm policy)
• ✅ Show Panel: true

For Personal Live Accounts:

• ✅ AI Mode: true
• ✅ Lot Mode: Automatic or Fixed (your preference)
• ✅ Scalp Trade Risk: 0.50% - 1.0%
• ✅ Day Trade Risk: 1.0% - 2.0%
• ✅ Swing Trade Risk: 2.0% - 3.0%
• ✅ Max Drawdown Percent: 8-10% (more relaxed)
• ✅ Max Trades Per Day: 15-20 (or unlimited)
• ✅ Enable Randomizer: false (not needed)
• ✅ Show Panel: true

Step 7: Enable Mobile Push Notifications (Read AI Reasoning)

Get instant alerts on your phone whenever SmartPropAi open a trade.

Setup Steps:

1. Install MT5 Mobile App
   • Download MetaTrader 5 from App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android)
2. Login to Your Trading Account
   • Open MT5 mobile app and login with your broker credentials
3. Get Your MetaQuotes ID
   • In MT5 mobile app: Tap Settings → Messages
   • You'll see your unique MetaQuotes ID (numbers and letters)
   • Write it down or take a screenshot
4. Enable Push Notifications on (VPS)Desktop MT5
   • Open MT5 on your computer/VPS
   • Go to Tools → Options → Notifications tab
   • Check: Enable Push Notifications
   • Enter your MetaQuotes ID from step 3
   • Click Test to verify (you should get a notification on your phone)
   • Click OK to save

This section explains every parameter available in SmartPropAi and how to configure them for optimal performance.

🤖 TRADING MODE

AI Mode

• Setting: On/Off (true/false)
• Default: false
• Description: Activates the Smart Prop AI Agents trading system

Options:

• ✅ true: Activates all AI Agents (Portfolio Manager, Market Research, Technical Analysis, etc.) will analyze markets and execute trades
• ❌ false: AI Agents OFF - EA will not work properly.

🧠 AI SETTINGS

Delay Entry

• Default: 5 seconds
• Description: Delays trade execution to create unique timing patterns

Prop Firm Users:

Set to 30-180 seconds (30 sec to 3 min) to ensure unique entry times compared to other EA users.

For Personal Live Accounts:

Keep default 5 seconds

Allowed Symbols

• Setting: Text (comma-separated list)
• Default: *
• Description: Which currency pairs/symbols the EA is allowed to trade

Configuration Guide:

• * = Trade ALL available symbols (AI will analyze all markets)
• EURUSD,GBPUSD = Trade only EURUSD and GBPUSD (comma-separated)
• EURUSD,GBPUSD,USDJPY,GOLD = Trade multiple specific symbols
• EURUSD = Trade only one specific symbol

Examples:

Major Forex Only: EURUSD,GBPUSD,USDJPY,USDCHF,AUDUSD,USDCAD,NZDUSD Metals: XAUUSD,XAGUSD Indices: US30,NAS100,SPX500 Mixed: EURUSD,GBPUSD,XAUUSD,US30

💰 RISK MANAGEMENT

Lot Size Mode

• Setting: Choose one (Automatic or Fixed)
• Default: Automatic
• Description: How the EA calculates position size

Options:

Automatic Mode

• EA calculates lot size based on account balance and risk percentage
• Position size automatically adjusts as your account grows/shrinks
• Best for: Prop firm challenges, growing accounts, consistent risk management
• Formula: Lot Size = (Account Balance × Risk%) / (Stop Loss Distance in dollars)

Fixed Mode

• EA uses the exact lot size you specify in FixedLotSize parameter
• Position size never changes regardless of account size
• Best for: Testing, demo accounts, experienced traders with specific position sizing strategies

Recommendation: Use Automatic for most scenarios

Fixed Lot Size

• Setting: Decimal number
• Default: 0.01
• Range: 0.01 - 100.00
• Description: The exact lot size to use when Lot Size Mode is set to Fixed

Note: This parameter is ONLY used when LotMode = Fixed

Scalp Trade Risk (%)

• Setting: Decimal number (percentage)
• Default: 0.25%
• Range: 0.10% - 3.00%
• Description: Risk per scalp trade when using Automatic lot sizing

What is a Scalp Trade?

• Short-term trades (minutes to hours)
• Small profit targets (10-30 pips)
• Tight stop losses (5-15 pips)
• Higher frequency

Configuration Guide:

• 0.25%: Conservative (recommended for prop firms)
• 0.50%: Moderate
• 1.00%: Aggressive (only for experienced traders)

Day Trade Risk (%)

• Setting: Decimal number (percentage)
• Default: 0.50%
• Range: 0.25% - 4.00%
• Description: Risk per day trade when using Automatic lot sizing

What is a Day Trade?

• Medium-term trades (hours to 1 day)
• Medium profit targets (30-80 pips)
• Medium stop losses (20-50 pips)
• Moderate frequency

Configuration Guide:

• 0.50%: Conservative (recommended for prop firms)
• 1.00%: Moderate
• 2.00%: Aggressive

Swing Trade Risk (%)

• Setting: Decimal number (percentage)
• Default: 1.0%
• Range: 0.50% - 5.00%
• Description: Risk per swing trade when using Automatic lot sizing

What is a Swing Trade?

• Long-term trades (1-7+ days)
• Large profit targets (80-200+ pips)
• Wider stop losses (50-150 pips)
• Lower frequency, higher reward

Configuration Guide:

• 1.00%: Conservative (recommended for prop firms)
• 2.00%: Moderate
• 3.00%: Aggressive (only for experienced traders with large accounts)

🛡️ DRAWDOWN CONTROL

Enable Drawdown Protection

• Setting: On/Off (true/false)
• Default: true
• Description: Activates automatic trading halt when drawdown limit is reached

Options:

• ✅ true: EA will STOP trading when max drawdown is hit (RECOMMENDED)
• ❌ false: EA will continue trading regardless of drawdown (DANGEROUS)

How it works:

• EA monitors account drawdown in real-time
• When limit is reached, EA blocks all new trades
• Trading resumes automatically the next day
• Protects your account from catastrophic losses

Recommendation: ALWAYS use true for prop firm accounts

Drawdown Mode

• Setting: Choose one (Fixed Amount or Percent of Balance)
• Default: Percent of Balance
• Description: How drawdown limit is calculated

Options:

Fixed Amount

Uses a fixed dollar limit.

• EA calculates: Balance - Equity = Current Loss
• Stops when Current Loss > MaxDrawdownAmount
• Example: Set to $4,000 → EA stops when you're down $4,000

Best for: Prop firms with specific dollar loss limits (e.g., "$5,000 max daily loss")

Percent of Balance

Uses a percentage that adjusts with account size.

• EA calculates: Max Loss = Balance × (Percent ÷ 100)
• Stops when (Balance - Equity) > Max Loss
• Example: 4% on $100k account = $4,000 max loss

Best for: Prop firms with percentage rules (e.g., "4% max daily loss")

Recommendation: Use Percent of Balance for most scenarios

Max Drawdown Amount (money)

• Setting: Decimal number (dollar amount)
• Default: 4000.0
• Description: Maximum loss in dollars before trading stops

Configuration Guide:

Set this slightly below your prop firm's dollar loss limit to leave a safety buffer.

Examples:

• FTMO $100k account: Daily loss limit = $5,000 → Set to 4500 (leaves $500 buffer)
• FundedNext $50k account: Daily loss limit = $2,500 → Set to 2250 (leaves $250 buffer)
• The5ers $100k account: Daily loss limit = $4,000 → Set to 3600 (leaves $400 buffer)

Note: Only used when DrawdownControlMode = Fixed Amount

Max Drawdown Percent (%)

• Setting: Decimal number (percentage)
• Default: 4.0%
• Description: Maximum loss as percentage of balance before trading stops

Configuration Guide:

• 4.0%: Recommended for most prop firms (4% daily loss limit)
• 5.0%: For firms with 5% daily limit
• 3.0%: Ultra-conservative (leaves large safety margin)
• 8-10%: For personal live accounts (more relaxed)

Prop Firm Examples:

📊 TRADE LIMITS

Max Trades Per Day

• Setting: Whole number
• Default: 10
• Range: 0 - 20 (0 = unlimited)
• Description: Maximum number of trades EA can execute in one trading day

Configuration Guide:

• 0: Unlimited trades (not recommended)
• 5: Conservative
• 10: Moderate (recommended for most users)
• 15: Aggressive (high-frequency trading)
• 20+: Very aggressive (only for experienced traders)

Benefits:

• Prevents overtrading
• Reduces exposure to market volatility
• Helps pass prop firm evaluation rules
• Protects from emotional/revenge trading

Note: Counter resets automatically at midnight (broker time)

🎨 DISPLAY

Show Info Panel

• Setting: On/Off (true/false)
• Default: true
• Description: Display the SmartPropAi dashboard on your chart

What the Panel Shows:

📌 Header:

• AI Mode status (ON/OFF)
• Current drawdown vs maximum allowed drawdown

⚠️ RISK EXPOSURE Section:

• Open positions: Count + dollar risk + risk %
• Pending orders: Count + dollar risk + risk %
• TOTAL risk: Combined positions + total exposure

📜 TRADE HISTORY (Last 4 Trades):

For each trade displays:

• Symbol, trade type (SCALP/DAY TRADE/SWING), action (BUY/SELL)
• Entry price, Stop Loss, Take Profit
• AI reasoning (why the trade was taken)

Options:

• ✅ true: Show panel (RECOMMENDED - gives full visibility)
• ❌ false: Hide panel (cleaner chart, but less information)

🎲 PROP FIRM RANDOMIZER

Enable Prop Firm Randomizer

• Setting: On/Off (true/false)
• Default: false
• Description: Randomizes entry prices, stop loss, and take profit to avoid detection by prop firm monitoring algorithms

What it Does:

• Entry Price: Randomizes by ±0-2 pips
• Stop Loss: Tightens by 0-5% randomly
• Take Profit: Reduces by 0-5% randomly
• Creates unique, human-like trading patterns
• Prevents algorithmic detection by prop firms

When to Use:

• ✅ true: Prop firm CHALLENGE phase (recommended)
• ✅ true: Prop firm FUNDED accounts (some firms monitor)
• ❌ false: Personal live accounts (not needed)
• ❌ false: Demo accounts (not needed)

Note: Randomization is always conservative (tighter SL, closer TP = safer trades)

Recommendation:

• Challenge Phase: true
• After Funded: Check your firm's rules (most allow, some monitor)
