❌Holiday Trading Warning – U.S. Labor Day❌
This is not a must. It is only for users who prefer not to carry SGH pending orders through the early market close / overnight closed period.
Today, September 7, Gold may close earlier than usual depending on your broker. Please check your broker’s XAUUSD / Gold holiday trading hours.
If you want to avoid leaving pending orders active through the early close, you can use one of these options:
Manual option: disable Algo Trading and delete any SGH pending orders before the market closes.
Adjust SGH Daily Close for today: set the Daily Close time to around 15 minutes before your broker’s Gold close time. SGH will then handle the pending orders automatically according to your selected protection settings.
SGH 3.5 Auto Early-Close Detection: if your broker correctly publishes the holiday session in MT5, you can enable the optional broker early-close detection.
If you are comfortable leaving pending orders through the closed period, no action is required. Just be aware that holiday trading hours can differ between brokers and reopening conditions may include gaps or wider spreads.

While high volatility is normally great for our fast-scalping strategies, the simultaneous data release creates an algorithmic crossfire. This will instantly drain liquidity, blow out broker spreads, and cause killer slippage that can ruin an otherwise profitable setup.
🛡️ Recommended Action (Not Required, But Highly Advised):
To protect your funded accounts and equity from slippage, manually adjust or activate your EA news filter:
Minimum Safety: 5 minutes before to 5 minutes after the release.
Maximum Safety 30 minutes before to 30 minutes after the release.
