Atomic Analyst User Guide: How to Read the Market, Confirm Trades, and Use SL/TP Levels with a Structured Workflow
Atomic Analyst is a non-repainting, non-redrawing, and non-lagging MT5 indicator designed to help traders read market direction, filter weaker setups, confirm market conditions, and organize trades with structured Stop Loss and Take Profit levels.
The purpose of Atomic Analyst is not to make trading more complicated. It takes several layers of market information—trend, momentum, sentiment, filters, multi-timeframe confirmation, trade levels, and performance context—and organizes them into a panel that can be read quickly.
The basic workflow is simple:
Read the verdict → Confirm the setup → Review SL/TP → Manage risk → Trade with discipline
Atomic Analyst can be used for manual trading, scalping and intraday analysis, day trading, swing-trading support, and multi-market analysis. The manual also shows how it can optionally work together with Smart Universal Expert Advisor when the trader wants to move from manual analysis toward an automated workflow.
What Is Atomic Analyst?
Atomic Analyst is designed to help you answer several practical questions before taking a trade.
What direction is the market currently favoring?
How strong is that directional view?
Do the filters agree?
Does market sentiment support the idea?
Are multiple timeframes aligned?
Where are the Stop Loss and Take Profit levels?
Instead of checking many separate tools independently, Atomic Analyst organizes this information into one visual trading environment.
The chart itself also provides important trade-planning information. Depending on the active setup, you can see signal arrows, the Stop Loss level, multiple Take Profit levels from TP1 to TP5, and the dynamic trend/trailing structure directly on the chart.
Atomic Analyst can therefore be used in several trading styles. For scalping and intraday trading, it can help with faster chart reading and structured entry/exit planning. For day trading and swing support, it can help traders follow broader trend, strength, momentum, and multi-timeframe conditions.
The recommended starting point shown in the manual is H1, particularly on liquid instruments such as XAUUSD, EURUSD, AUDUSD, and other liquid markets supported by MT5. ECN or other low-spread account conditions are also recommended for better execution.
Start Here: How to Read the Atomic Analyst Panel
The Atomic Analyst panel is designed to be read from the top downward.
You do not need to understand the calculations behind every component. The important thing is to understand what each section is telling you and how the sections relate to one another.
1. Start with the AI Atomic Decision
At the top of the panel is the main market decision area.
You may see a directional reading such as:
Bullish Trend
or
Bearish Trend
Alongside that market reading, Atomic Analyst can display directional permission such as:
BUY ONLY
or
SELL ONLY
This is the first area you should read because it immediately tells you which side of the market the current analysis favors.
It should not, however, be treated as a command to trade immediately.
The verdict is the beginning of the analysis. The rest of the panel helps you decide whether enough supporting evidence exists to justify the setup.
2. Check the Quality %
Below the main direction, Atomic Analyst displays a Quality %.
Quality should be understood as confirmation strength.
For example, if the panel is showing a bullish verdict together with a stronger Quality reading, the current market analysis has more supporting evidence behind that bullish interpretation.
However:
Quality % is not a guaranteed win probability.
A higher percentage means stronger support for the active verdict according to the information being analyzed. It does not mean that the next trade has the same percentage probability of winning.
3. Review the Atomic Controls
The control section gives you quick access to important runtime options.
Depending on the selected configuration or mode, you may see controls such as Raw Signal, Trend Filter, AI Filter, Alert, Day, Night, Custom / BG Color, and Hide All.
Raw Signal can be used when a trader wants faster, less-filtered signal behavior, while additional filtering can be used when the priority is cleaner and more selective setups.
The visual controls allow you to switch between Day and Night themes, choose a more suitable background appearance, and hide chart objects when you want a cleaner workspace.
The Alert control gives access to the notification side of Atomic Analyst.
4. Read Market Sentiment
The Market Sentiment section divides the current market condition into:
Bullish % · WAIT % · Bearish %
This gives you another confirmation layer.
For example, if Atomic Analyst is showing SELL ONLY and bearish sentiment is clearly dominant, the sentiment reading is supporting the verdict.
If the verdict says SELL ONLY but bullish pressure is unusually strong, the market context is more conflicted.
This does not automatically invalidate a setup, but it is useful information before making a decision.
5. Review the Atomic Filters
Atomic Analyst brings several market-reading components together inside its filter section.
These include readings such as Trend Bias, MTF Bias, Trend Strength, Pair Strength, Momentum, Volume, Volatility, Demand, RSI, MACD, Moving Average, Stochastic, Bollinger Bands, Fibonacci, Pivot Points, and CCI.
The important part is not memorizing how every calculation works.
The practical question is:
Do several independent pieces of evidence support the same direction?
The panel uses clear states such as BULLISH, BEARISH, WAIT / neutral, and sometimes OFF.
A single bullish filter does not make a trade. A single bearish filter does not destroy a trade.
The value comes from looking at the combined picture.
6. Check Stats & Performance
Atomic Analyst also displays tracked performance information such as Buy Signals, Sell Signals, Total Pip Profit, Daily Profit, Weekly Profit, and Total Profit.
This information can help you understand how the system has been behaving over the tracked period.
It should be treated as context, not prediction.
Historical or tracked performance does not tell you with certainty what the next setup will do.
7. Check Multi-Timeframe Confirmation
At the bottom of the panel is the multi-timeframe confirmation grid.
It lets you compare the current market condition across many timeframes without opening every chart individually.
The manual uses the grid as a visual confirmation system. Green boxes generally indicate confirmation in your direction, yellow represents neutral or mixed conditions, and red represents timeframes that are against the direction being evaluated.
The more timeframes supporting the same idea, the stronger the multi-timeframe context becomes.
Again, alignment is confirmation—not certainty.
8. Use the Levels on the Chart
Finally, look at the actual trade structure on the chart.
Atomic Analyst can display the signal together with:
Stop Loss · TP1 · TP2 · TP3 · TP4 · TP5
These levels turn the market analysis into a concrete trade plan.
The recommended reading sequence is therefore:
Verdict → Quality → Filters → Sentiment → MTF Confirmation → SL/TP Structure

How to Use Atomic Analyst for Trades
A practical Atomic Analyst trade can be evaluated in a clear sequence.
Step 1 — Wait for a Signal
Start by waiting for a genuine BUY or SELL opportunity to appear.
The chart signal gives you a reason to begin evaluating the setup.
Do not begin by deciding that you want to buy or sell and then searching the panel for evidence that agrees with you.
Let the setup appear first.
Step 2 — Check Trend and Quality
Read the AI Atomic Decision.
If the system is indicating a bullish opportunity, check whether the broader trend reading also supports bullish conditions.
If the setup is bearish, check whether the broader analysis supports bearish conditions.
Then look at Quality %.
The purpose is to determine whether the current directional idea has meaningful support behind it.
Step 3 — Review Market Sentiment
Compare the verdict with Bullish, WAIT, and Bearish pressure.
You generally want the sentiment picture to make sense with the direction you are considering.
A bullish setup with stronger bullish pressure creates a cleaner context than a bullish setup appearing while bearish pressure dominates heavily.
Step 4 — Confirm with Atomic Filters
Now move to the Atomic Filters.
Look for agreement across trend, momentum, strength, technical indicators, and other confirmation layers.
You do not need every single filter to produce the same result.
The goal is to understand the overall evidence.
The more important sections supporting the same direction, the stronger the setup context becomes.
Step 5 — Check MTF Alignment
Review the MTF grid.
If you are considering a BUY setup, look at how many relevant timeframes are supporting bullish conditions.
For a SELL setup, look for bearish alignment.
The MTF section helps you avoid analyzing the active timeframe in complete isolation.
Step 6 — Review the Trade Structure
Once the setup has enough confirmation, use the levels printed on the chart.
Review:
Entry / signal area → Stop Loss → TP1 → TP2 → TP3 → TP4 → TP5
The trade should have a structure before you execute it.
Do not enter first and invent the risk plan afterwards.
Step 7 — Manage the Risk
The manual recommends keeping individual trade risk controlled, with 1% risk per trade used as the practical reference.
The purpose is simple: one losing trade should not have the ability to damage the account seriously.
Losses are part of trading.
Good risk management allows you to move on to the next valid opportunity.
Step 8 — Execute with Discipline
Once the trade is active, follow the plan.
Do not widen the Stop Loss simply because price temporarily moves against the position.
Do not randomly change targets because of fear or excitement.
The purpose of having structured SL and TP levels is to make the trade plan clear before emotions become involved.
Two Practical Ways to Manage Take Profit
Atomic Analyst provides multiple target levels, which gives the trader flexibility in how the position is managed.
The manual presents two practical approaches.
Option 1 — Use TP5 as the Main Target
The first approach is to hold the position toward TP5.
In the trade structure illustrated by the manual, TP5 represents approximately a 1:2 Risk-to-Reward Ratio.
The trader takes the setup with the intended Stop Loss and allows the trade to work toward the larger target.
Option 2 — Use TP3 and TP5
The second method is more defensive.
TP3 represents approximately 1:1 Risk-to-Reward in the illustrated structure.
When price reaches TP3, the trader can take part of the position as profit and move the remaining trade's Stop Loss toward Break Even.
The remaining position can then be allowed to continue toward TP5, approximately 1:2 in the illustrated plan.
So the sequence becomes:
Entry → TP3 → Partial Profit → Move SL to Break Even → Allow remainder toward TP5
Both methods require consistency.
The levels are trade-management references and do not guarantee that price will reach a particular target.
Controls, Filters and Confirmation
Atomic Analyst can be customized to fit different trading environments without requiring the user to understand the internal programming.
Display Modes
The panel supports Day and Night themes so you can match it to the chart environment you prefer.
Compact and Standard views allow you to choose between more chart space and a fuller information display.
Custom / BG Color controls can also help adapt the visual presentation.
If you want maximum chart visibility, Hide All can remove the displayed chart objects while keeping the indicator available.
Raw Signal, Trend Filter and AI Filter
Different filtering modes allow the trader to choose between faster signal behavior and stronger filtering.
Raw Signal prioritizes faster signal availability.
Trend filtering can be used for cleaner directional selection.
The AI Filter provides an additional market-quality confirmation layer where available.
Filters should never be interpreted as a guarantee that a trade will win.
Their purpose is to reduce noise and improve the quality of the decision-making process.
Alerts and Notifications
Atomic Analyst can also help traders who do not want to sit in front of the chart continuously.
Alerts can notify you about important trading events.
Depending on the configured options, these can include entry signals and important trade-level events such as TP and Stop Loss activity.
The manual also shows alert support through:
MT5 Terminal · Mobile Push Notifications · Email
This means Atomic Analyst can be installed on charts running on MT5—even on a VPS—and the trader can stay informed remotely.
When an alert arrives, the trader can open MT5, review the signal and market context, and decide whether the trade fits their plan.
Alerts make monitoring easier.
They do not make every alert a trade that must be taken.
Recommended Markets and Timeframe
Atomic Analyst can work across multiple liquid markets, but the manual provides a practical recommended starting point.
Recommended markets: XAUUSD / Gold, EURUSD, AUDUSD, and other liquid markets.
Recommended timeframe: H1.
Recommended account conditions: ECN or other low-spread accounts.
H1 provides a practical balance between trading opportunities and market structure.
Other instruments and timeframes can also be tested, but traders should perform their own due diligence and understand the behavior, spread, volatility, and liquidity of the instrument before using real capital.
Best Practices for Using Atomic Analyst
Atomic Analyst becomes much more useful when it is treated as a complete decision-support process rather than a single BUY or SELL button.
Wait for alignment between the main verdict, Quality, market sentiment, filters, and multi-timeframe confirmation.
Respect the Stop Loss shown by the trade structure.
Use the Take Profit levels according to a predetermined management plan.
Keep risk controlled instead of increasing position size after losses.
Be willing to wait. A cleaner setup may occur less frequently, but forcing additional trades defeats the purpose of having confirmation filters.
Review statistics over a meaningful number of setups rather than judging the indicator from one winner or one loser.
Most importantly, avoid changing the plan emotionally after the trade is open.
Atomic Analyst + Smart Universal Expert Advisor
Atomic Analyst can also be used as part of an automated workflow with Smart Universal Expert Advisor.
This is optional.
You do not need Smart Universal EA to use Atomic Analyst manually.
The idea is that each product performs a different role.
Atomic Analyst provides the market analysis, signal information, filters, confirmation, and trade structure.
Smart Universal EA can use compatible external indicator information as part of an automated execution and trade-management workflow.
The connection is made through Smart Universal EA's Custom Indicator functionality.
The example shown in the Atomic Analyst manual uses the following configuration:
Indicator name: Atomic Analyst
Buy buffer: 8
Sell buffer: 9
Other optional buffers: -1 where not used
The basic connection process is:
Open Smart Universal EA → Go to Custom Indicator → Select Atomic Analyst → Configure the buffers → Save and apply → Run the EA
This gives traders the option of using Atomic Analyst as the analysis source while Smart Universal EA handles the automation side of the workflow.
Automation does not remove the need for sensible risk settings, chart verification, and proper configuration.
Final Atomic Analyst Trading Workflow
You do not need to understand every calculation happening underneath Atomic Analyst to use the product effectively.
What matters is understanding the information being presented and using it consistently.
The complete workflow is:
Read the Verdict → Check Quality → Confirm Filters & Sentiment → Check MTF → Review SL/TP → Manage Risk → Execute with DisciplineAtomic Analyst helps organize the analysis.
You remain responsible for the final trading decision.
Use the tool to identify direction, reduce noise, understand the broader market context, and create a structured trade plan before risking capital.
Be patient when the evidence is mixed.
Respect the Stop Loss.
Use the target structure consistently.
Keep individual trade risk controlled.
And judge the system over a meaningful series of trades rather than one isolated result.
The purpose of Atomic Analyst is not to remove decision-making from the trader.
It is to make that decision-making clearer, more structured, and easier to follow.
Historical statistics, screenshots, and previous trade examples are provided for informational context and do not guarantee future performance.
