PROPHECY is a standalone, multi-symbol MetaTrader 5 portfolio Expert Advisor. One EA instance manages eleven independent Forex strategy modules, their basket exits, recovery orders and portfolio-wide exposure controls from a single chart.
This guide explains how to install PROPHECY correctly, choose a configuration scale, verify broker compatibility and complete the checks that should be performed before live trading.
Product page: PROPHECY EA for MetaTrader 5
Important: PROPHECY must be attached to one chart only. The host chart does not determine the timeframes used by the internal strategy modules.
1. What PROPHECY manages
The portfolio contains eleven strategy modules:
- AUDCAD
- CADJPY
- CHFJPY
- EURGBP
- GBPAUD
- GBPNZD
- GBPUSD
- NZDCHF
- EURCAD
- USDCHF
- EURNZD
Every module retains its own symbol, timeframe, entry logic, trading session, basket target, DCA distance and order limits. PROPHECY coordinates them through one portfolio engine and one information panel.
2. Requirements before installation
- MetaTrader 5 with an account that supports hedging.
- All eleven required symbols available in Market Watch.
- Broker symbol names and suffixes that can be detected or configured correctly.
- Sufficient margin for the selected preset and its maximum permitted exposure.
- A broker-specific check of spreads, commission, swap, lot step, contract size and leverage.
PROPHECY does not require DLL access or WebRequest permission. THE VOICE and SHOCK CORE operate from market and portfolio data available inside MetaTrader 5.
3. Installation in MetaTrader 5
- Open MetaTrader 5.
- Select File > Open Data Folder.
- Copy the PROPHECY .ex5 file into MQL5/Experts.
- Copy the supplied .set files into MQL5/Profiles/Presets.
- Return to MetaTrader 5 and refresh the Expert Advisors list, or restart the terminal.
- Open one chart. EURUSD M30 is a convenient host chart, although the internal modules use their own symbols and timeframes.
- Attach PROPHECY to the chart.
- Open the Inputs tab, select Load, and load the intended preset.
- Confirm that EA Enabled and Show Information Panel are enabled.
- Enable Allow algorithmic trading in the EA properties and switch on the terminal's Algo Trading button.
After replacing an older build, remove the old EA instance from the chart, refresh the Navigator, attach the new build and load the intended preset again. An already-running chart instance does not automatically adopt a newly copied set file.
4. Choosing the correct preset
1K Standard
- Initial and DCA order size: 0.01 fixed lot
- Maximum total portfolio exposure: 0.10 lot
- New-basket exposure ceiling: 0.08 lot
- Lower-exposure configuration for the 1K scale
1K High Risk
- Initial and DCA order size: 0.05 fixed lot
- Maximum total portfolio exposure: 0.50 lot
- New-basket exposure ceiling: 0.40 lot
- Five times the Standard order size and substantially higher financial risk
10K
- Initial and DCA order size: 0.10 fixed lot
- Maximum total portfolio exposure: 1.00 lot
- New-basket exposure ceiling: 0.80 lot
100K
- Initial and DCA order size: 1.00 fixed lot
- Maximum total portfolio exposure: 10.00 lots
- New-basket exposure ceiling: 8.00 lots
Never load a large-account preset on a small account. Preset names describe configuration scales, not personal risk recommendations or guarantees.
5. Fixed-lot basket architecture
PROPHECY uses fixed-lot DCA. The first order and every recovery order use the same configured lot size. It does not multiply volume between recovery levels through a martingale lot sequence.
Fixed-lot architecture does not remove trading risk. Several positions can remain open inside one basket, and multiple baskets can be active at the same time. This is why the total-lot limit, new-basket capacity limit, active-basket limit and available margin must all be checked before live use.
6. Basket targets and trading costs
Each module has an individual basket target. When cost inclusion is enabled, the target calculation can account for:
- Charged commission
- Negative swap
- Estimated closing commission
This means the displayed target can differ between brokers. A nominal profit target is not the same as the net amount required after broker costs.
Broker-side basket TP/SL placement and chart target lines can be controlled from the inputs. Always verify the resulting levels in the Strategy Tester and on a demo account before live use.
7. Portfolio risk controls
The available controls include:
- Maximum lot per order, strategy and symbol
- Maximum total portfolio lots and positions
- Maximum number of active baskets
- Reserved capacity for managing existing baskets
- Optional daily drawdown protection
- Optional total and module-level floating-loss limits
- Optional prop-firm protection settings
- Optional currency-exposure and correlation controls
- Configurable hard basket-age protection
The total floating-loss stop is disabled when its configured value is zero. Prop Firm Mode must be adjusted to the exact rules of the intended firm; no universal preset can guarantee compliance with every challenge.
8. A short introduction to THE VOICE
THE VOICE is the decision and recovery intelligence layer inside PROPHECY. It ranks simultaneous valid entries, re-evaluates recovery additions, restrains DCA during abnormal volatility and manages stagnant baskets after day seven.
It does not replace the eleven underlying strategies and it does not create artificial entries. It decides how already-valid opportunities and existing recovery baskets should be handled when market quality and portfolio capacity change.
A separate technical article explains the full four-layer Voice architecture and why its lifecycle-based design is different from a conventional portfolio filter.
9. Reading the information panel
The Portfolio Intelligence panel displays:
- Balance, equity and floating P/L
- Current portfolio load and position count
- Daily drawdown and floating-loss guard state
- Number and age of active baskets
- Current Voice signal, score and active profile
- Active Transmissions with symbol, direction, position count, total volume, net result, DCA level and remaining basket target
If the panel is missing on a normal chart, set Show Information Panel to true, press OK and reattach the EA if necessary. The panel is intentionally not drawn during non-visual Strategy Tester runs.
10. Broker-specific execution checks
- Friday Entry Cutoff uses broker-server time, not local computer time.
- Automatic symbol-suffix detection should remain enabled unless the broker requires a manual suffix.
- Spread limits are expressed in broker points, which are not always equal to full pips.
- Commission and swap can change the required net-cost basket target.
- Contract size, minimum lot, lot step and margin requirements can differ between brokers.
- All required symbols must be visible and tradable from the same account.
11. Recommended validation sequence
- Run a one-month visual smoke test and confirm that all required symbols load correctly.
- Run a longer real-tick test using the broker's price history, commission and variable-spread model.
- Forward-test on demo and compare basket targets, commission and swap behaviour with the test report.
- Confirm the selected preset's order lot, maximum total lot and new-basket exposure ceiling.
- Verify the information panel, symbol mapping and Friday cutoff using broker-server time.
- Start live only after execution behaviour has been checked with the intended broker.
12. Quick troubleshooting
The EA does not trade
- Confirm that Algo Trading is enabled at both terminal and EA level.
- Check that the eleven symbols are present in Market Watch.
- Review the Experts and Journal tabs for suffix, spread, session or capacity messages.
- Remember that a valid setup is still required; attaching the EA does not force an immediate trade.
The panel is visible but shows no signal
This is normal when no module currently has a valid candidate. THE VOICE does not manufacture signals. It ranks and manages opportunities produced by the underlying strategy modules.
An old basket remains on the panel
Refresh to the latest build, remove the older chart instance and attach the new build again. Confirm that the trade belongs to the same account and magic-number configuration.
Risk notice
Historical backtests are not live trading results and do not guarantee future performance. Results can change because of broker prices, spread, commission, swap, contract specifications, leverage, latency and execution. PROPHECY uses fixed-lot DCA and can maintain multiple simultaneous positions. Substantial floating drawdown and loss of capital remain possible.
