Current manual version: v4.14
Trade History Analyzer MT5 is a read-only account analytics and trade-history utility for MetaTrader 5.
It is designed to help you understand what has happened on your trading account, how different strategies and symbols have performed, where profits and losses have occurred, and how current positions affect the account.
The utility can also be configured for prop-trading accounts, where it provides a dedicated dashboard for monitoring configured loss limits, targets, trading days, consistency rules and other programme conditions.
Trade History Analyzer does not open, close or modify trades.
1. Quick StartAfter installing Trade History Analyzer MT5:
-
Open MetaTrader 5.
-
Open any chart.
-
Attach Trade History Analyzer MT5 to the chart.
-
The Settings screen opens.
-
Choose either:
-
STANDARD ACCOUNT
-
PROP ACCOUNT
-
-
Review the settings.
-
Press OK.
-
The utility opens on the LIVE ACCOUNT screen.
The symbol and timeframe of the chart used to host the utility do not limit the account data being analysed.
For example, the utility can be attached to a USDJPY M1 chart while analysing trades from many different symbols.
2. Standard Account or Prop Account
Trade History Analyzer has two account modes.
Standard Account
Choose STANDARD ACCOUNT for a normal personal, trading, investment or algorithmic account.
Standard mode gives access to the main analytics areas:
-
Live Account
-
Performance
-
Trading Patterns
-
Breakdowns
-
Trade History
Prop-specific rules and the Prop Dashboard are hidden.
Prop Account
Choose PROP ACCOUNT when the trading account is being used with a proprietary trading programme.
Prop mode keeps all the normal analytics features and adds:
-
Prop Dashboard
-
Daily-loss monitoring
-
Overall-loss monitoring
-
Profit-target progress
-
Reset countdown
-
Drawdown model settings
-
Consistency monitoring
-
Minimum trading days
-
Open-position risk
-
Monitoring events
-
Alerts
-
Funded-account payout settings
The prop system is configurable because different programmes can use different rules.
Do not assume the default values match your prop firm. Always check the official rules applying to your account.
3. The Settings Screen
The Settings screen opens when the utility is genuinely loaded or restarted.
Changing chart timeframe does not normally reopen Settings.
At the top of Settings you can choose:
STANDARD ACCOUNT
or
PROP ACCOUNT
You can return to Settings later by pressing the ... button in the top-right corner.
4. General / Display Settings
The left side of Settings contains the general controls.
Refresh seconds
Controls how often the display refreshes.
A shorter refresh time gives more frequent updates but requires slightly more processing.
The default value is suitable for most users.
Tester demo data
This is mainly used when demonstrating or testing the utility in MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester.
For normal live account use, leave this OFF.
UI scale %
Changes the size of text and interface elements.
You can also change the scale using the percentage button on the main screen.
Asia session start
Sets the broker/server-time hour used as the beginning of the Asian trading session.
London session start
Sets the broker/server-time hour used as the beginning of the London trading session.
New York start
Sets the broker/server-time hour used as the start of the New York session.
New York end
Sets the broker/server-time hour used as the end of the New York session.
These session settings are used by time and session analysis.
Tick chunk hours
Controls how the utility reads historical tick information when performing detailed trade-movement analysis.
Most users should leave this at the default value.
Max trade-movement sample
Limits how many trades are examined when detailed historical movement calculations are required.
This helps prevent very large histories from taking excessive time to process.
Annual risk-free %
Used in some advanced performance statistics such as Sharpe-related calculations.
If you do not specifically need a risk-free-rate adjustment, leaving this at 0.00 is reasonable.
5. Main Screen Layout
The top section of the utility is always available when the full interface is open.
It contains:
-
Symbol filter
-
Source / Magic filter
-
Entry Comment filter
-
Side filter
-
Time-period controls
-
Main navigation
-
Export buttons
-
Theme control
-
UI scale
-
Settings
-
Minimise button
The current account type or workspace is also shown near the top.
6. Symbol Filter
The SYMBOL filter controls which symbols are included in most historical analytics.
Examples:
-
EURUSD only
-
USDJPY only
-
Several selected symbols
-
All symbols
Use ALL SYMBOLS when you want account-wide historical analysis.
Selecting a symbol does not change your MT5 account. It only changes what the analytics screens display.
7. Source / Magic Filter
The SOURCE / MAGIC filter is particularly useful for accounts running several Expert Advisors.
A Magic Number is normally used by an EA to identify its own trades.
The filter can therefore be used to analyse:
-
one Expert Advisor
-
one Magic Number
-
several Magic Numbers
-
manual trades
-
all trading sources
Manual trades are normally identified separately from EA trades.
This makes it possible to analyse one strategy without having to create a separate trading account for each EA.
8. Entry Comment Filter
The ENTRY COMMENT filter allows trades to be selected using their trade comment.
This can be useful when:
-
one EA uses several strategy names
-
the same Magic Number trades different systems
-
trade comments identify setups
-
you want to isolate a particular trading group
9. Side Filter
The SIDE controls allow you to view:
-
ALL trades
-
LONG trades
-
SHORT trades
This makes it easy to check whether a strategy performs differently in each direction.
10. Time Period
The period controls allow the historical analysis to be changed quickly.
Available choices include:
-
TODAY
-
3 DAYS
-
WEEK
-
MONTH
-
QTR
-
YEAR
-
30D
-
90D
-
ALL
-
CUSTOM
Custom Period
Choose CUSTOM when you want to enter your own From and To dates.
This is useful when analysing:
-
a specific test period
-
a trading phase
-
a particular month
-
a challenge period
-
performance before or after a strategy change
11. Live Account
The LIVE ACCOUNT page shows the current state of the trading account.
Typical information includes:
-
Balance
-
Equity
-
Floating P/L
-
Open positions
-
Filtered open P/L
-
Margin level
The Account Status section also shows items such as:
-
Margin used
-
Free margin
-
Leverage
-
Observed equity peak
-
Current drawdown from peak
-
Maximum observed drawdown
The Open Exposure section shows currently open positions.
Depending on the available data, it can show:
-
Symbol
-
Source
-
Side
-
Lots
-
Floating P/L
-
Position age
-
Relative risk contribution
Double-click an open-position row where available to view more detail.
The Live Account screen uses current account information.
Historical filters do not alter the true account balance or equity values.
12. Performance
The PERFORMANCE area contains several sub-pages.
These include:
-
Overview
-
Advanced Stats
-
Charts
-
Trade Movement
13. Performance – Overview
The Overview page provides the main performance summary.
Headline figures include:
-
Closed trades
-
Net P/L
-
Win rate
-
Profit Factor
-
Maximum closed-trade drawdown
-
Recovery
The Professional Metrics section provides more detailed information such as:
-
Gross profit
-
Gross loss
-
Expected result per trade
-
Average winning trade
-
Average losing trade
-
Payoff ratio
-
Best trade
-
Worst trade
-
Relative drawdown
-
Daily Sharpe
-
Daily Sortino
-
SQN
-
Winning and losing streaks
-
Average duration
-
Maximum duration
-
Closed lots
A period comparison section allows results from different time periods to be compared.
The Long vs Short table separates results by trading direction.
This is useful for discovering situations where, for example, long trades perform well but short trades do not.
14. Profit Factor
Profit Factor is one of the figures displayed throughout the utility.
In simple terms:
Profit Factor = total profits divided by total losses
A value above 1 means gross profits are larger than gross losses.
A value below 1 means gross losses are larger than gross profits.
If there were profits but no losing trades in the selected sample, the display may show INF.
15. Win Rate
Win Rate is the percentage of completed trades in the selected sample that finished with a positive net result.
A high win rate does not automatically mean a strategy is profitable.
Average win, average loss, Profit Factor and expectancy should also be considered.
16. Expectancy
Expectancy is the average net result per completed trade.
A positive expectancy means the selected historical sample produced a positive average result per trade.
A negative expectancy means the selected sample produced a negative average result per trade.
17. Drawdown
Drawdown measures decline from a previous peak.
Trade History Analyzer includes several drawdown views depending on the screen being used.
Historical closed-trade drawdown is different from live-account equity drawdown.
Prop-account drawdown can also use separate configured rules.
18. Performance – Advanced Stats
The ADVANCED STATS page provides additional statistical information.
Examples include:
-
Sharpe
-
Sortino
-
Ulcer Index
-
Recovery
-
Rolling Profit Factor
-
Winning months
-
Median trade
-
Median duration
-
Rolling expectancy
-
Long expectancy
-
Short expectancy
-
Commission impact
-
Swap impact
-
Trading frequency
-
Exposure
-
Relative drawdown
-
SQN
-
Best day
-
Worst day
These statistics are useful for deeper analysis, but users do not need to understand every metric to use the rest of the utility.
19. Performance – Charts
The CHARTS page provides graphical performance analysis.
The main realised P/L chart shows cumulative historical trading results for the active filters.
The top chart also shows summary information including:
-
High
-
Low
-
Ending value
-
Maximum drawdown
A separate drawdown chart shows how far the historical result fell from its running peak.
The Monthly P/L section shows performance by month.
Click supported charts to open a larger version.
20. Performance – Trade Movement
The TRADE MOVEMENT page analyses what happened while a trade was open.
It can be used to examine:
-
adverse movement against the trade
-
favourable movement in the trade's direction
-
how much of the favourable move was eventually captured
This is commonly described as MAE/MFE analysis.
In simple terms, it can help answer questions such as:
-
Did winning trades first move heavily against me?
-
Did losing trades ever show meaningful profit?
-
Are exits giving back a large part of favourable movement?
-
Are stops unusually wide compared with normal trade behaviour?
This analysis may require historical tick data.
If sufficient data is not available, some trades may not have complete movement information.
21. Trading Patterns
The TRADING PATTERNS page looks for measurable behaviour in the selected trading history.
It is intended to help identify patterns rather than simply report profit and loss.
Headline information includes:
-
Pattern Score
-
Classification
-
Loss Escalation
-
Revenge Clusters
-
Overtrade Days
22. Pattern Score
The Pattern Score combines several measured behaviours into a simple score.
The classification bands are shown on the page.
A higher score means more of the measured patterns were detected in the selected historical sample.
It is an analytical indicator, not a psychological diagnosis.
23. Loss Escalation
Loss Escalation looks for situations where position size increased after losing trades.
This may help identify whether risk tends to increase following losses.
24. Revenge Clusters
Revenge Clusters look for groups of qualifying trades entered following losses.
This is intended to highlight repeated historical patterns that may be worth investigating.
It does not attempt to determine the trader's intentions.
25. Overtrade Days
Overtrade Days identifies days where trading frequency was unusually high compared with the trader's normal activity.
This can help locate periods worth reviewing in more detail.
26. Risk / Reward Boundary
This section compares:
-
Payoff ratio
-
Break-even win rate
-
Actual win rate
The break-even win rate estimates the win percentage required to break even at the measured average win/loss relationship.
27. Breakdowns
The BREAKDOWNS area provides several ways to divide the trading history.
Available pages include:
-
EA Dashboard
-
Symbol Mix
-
Strategy Cards
-
By Symbol
-
By Magic
-
Time Heatmap
28. EA Dashboard
The EA Dashboard gives a visual overview of performance.
It includes symbol cards showing items such as:
-
Number of trades
-
Win rate
-
Net result
-
Profit Factor
-
Average trade
-
Mini performance curve
It also includes:
-
Profit by Hour & Day
-
Day of Week Performance
Cards and panels can be clicked to open larger detailed views.
Despite the name, the page can still be useful when analysing mixed or manually traded account history.
29. Symbol Mix
SYMBOL MIX shows how trading activity and results are distributed between instruments.
It can help answer questions such as:
-
Which symbols are traded most often?
-
Which symbols contribute most to results?
-
Is one market dominating the account?
-
Are losses concentrated in one instrument?
Charts can be enlarged where supported.
30. Strategy Cards
STRATEGY CARDS creates a card for each trading strategy or Magic Number.
Each card gives a quick visual summary of that strategy.
This is useful when many EAs are running on the same account.
Selecting a strategy can also make it easier to analyse that strategy elsewhere in the utility.
31. By Symbol
BY SYMBOL compares trading statistics for each symbol.
This is useful for finding:
-
profitable instruments
-
weak instruments
-
differences in win rate
-
differences in average trade
-
concentration of losses
Column headings can be used to sort the table where available.
32. By Magic
BY MAGIC compares performance by Magic Number or trading source.
Typical columns include:
-
Source / Magic
-
Trades
-
Win %
-
Net P/L
-
Profit Factor
-
Average trade
-
Costs
-
Lots
-

This is one of the most useful screens for multi-EA accounts.
Click a column heading to sort.
Click it again to reverse the sort direction.
33. Time Heatmap
The TIME HEATMAP shows trading results by:
-
Day of week
-
Hour of day
Depending on the selected metric, it can help identify:
-
profitable times
-
losing times
-
heavily traded times
-
strong or weak sessions
-
differences in historical performance across the week
Click the heatmap to open the larger detailed view.
34. Expanded Heatmap
The expanded heatmap displays the weekday/hour matrix in a large window.
Cells can show information such as:
-
P/L
-
Trade count
Positive and negative cells are colour-coded.
This view is useful when looking for time-based patterns that are difficult to see in a normal trade list.
Press CLOSE to return to the previous page.
35. Trade History
The TRADE HISTORY area contains:
-
Closed Trades
-
P/L Calendar
-
Open Trades
-
Data Info
36. Closed Trades
The Closed Trades page shows the reconstructed closed-trade journal.
Typical columns include:
-

-
Exit price
-
Gross trade P/L
-
Commission
-
Swap
-
Fees
-
Net P/L
-
Entry Stop Loss
-
Entry Take Profit
This screen is useful when you want to understand exactly how one reconstructed trade contributed to the account history.
38. P/L Calendar
The P/L CALENDAR groups realised trading results by closing date.
Each day can show:
-
realised net P/L
-
number of trades
You can move between calendar months.
Where supported, double-clicking a calendar day opens a more detailed view of that day's trades and performance.
The calendar uses the broker/server date.
39. Open Trades
The OPEN TRADES page displays currently open positions.
The historical date filter does not apply to open positions because they have not yet closed.
Other filters, such as Symbol, Source/Magic, Comment and Side, can still be used.
The table may include:
-
Symbol
-
Source
-
Side
-
Lots
-
Open price
-
Current price
-
P/L
-
Swap
-
Age

40. Data Info
The DATA INFO page provides additional information about the account, calculations and available data.
It is useful when you want to understand how a particular statistic was created or whether enough historical information was available.
41. Sorting
Many tables have clickable column headings.
Click a heading once to sort by that column.
Click it again to reverse the sort order.
This makes it easy to find, for example:
-
highest-profit strategies
-
worst-performing symbols
-
largest trades
-
longest trades
-
most active Magic Numbers
42. Scrolling
Long tables include scroll controls.
Depending on the screen, you can use:
-
scrollbar arrows
-
scrollbar thumb
-
mouse wheel
Only part of a large dataset may be visible at once, but the remaining rows are still available by scrolling.
43. Expanded Views
Several charts, cards and analytical panels can be clicked or double-clicked to open a larger view.
These enlarged views make it easier to inspect detailed data without permanently cluttering the main dashboard.
Use CLOSE to return to the previous screen.
44. Prop Dashboard
The PROP DASHBOARD appears when the account purpose is set to PROP ACCOUNT.
It is designed to provide one clear account-wide view of configured prop rules and progress.
Prop calculations on this page use the whole trading account.
The normal Symbol, Magic Number and Comment filters must not be relied upon to reduce prop-account compliance calculations.
45. Prop Headroom
At the top of the Prop Dashboard you will see values such as:
-
Daily headroom
-
Overall headroom
-
Reset countdown
Headroom means the estimated amount remaining before the configured loss threshold is reached.
For example:
Daily USD 145.85
means approximately USD 145.85 of configured daily-loss room remains under the current calculation.
46. Daily Headroom
Daily Headroom shows how much remains before the configured daily loss limit is reached.
The exact calculation depends on the rules entered in Settings.
47. Overall Headroom
Overall Headroom shows how much remains before the configured maximum overall-loss threshold is reached.
48. Realised Target
The Realised Target figure shows progress toward the configured profit target.
It is based on realised performance rather than simply treating floating open-position profit as a completed target.
49. Reset Countdown
Reset Countdown shows the estimated time remaining until the configured daily reset.
The accuracy of this depends on the reset time, UTC offset and DST settings entered by the user.
50. Challenge / Phase
The Prop Dashboard shows the configured programme and phase.
Possible phases include:
-
Evaluation
-
Verification
-
Funded
The exact terminology used by individual prop firms may differ.
51. Starting Capital
Starting Capital is the baseline account size used for the configured prop calculations.
Enter the correct starting capital for the current challenge, phase or funded account.
52. Challenge Start
Challenge Start defines the beginning of the relevant prop-account period.
This helps keep challenge calculations separate from older account history.
53. Daily Loss %
Enter the permitted daily loss percentage if the programme defines its limit as a percentage.
54. Daily Fixed Loss
Use this when the programme defines the daily loss as a fixed amount rather than a percentage.
When a fixed amount is configured, it can override percentage-based calculations where applicable.
55. Overall Loss %
Enter the maximum overall loss percentage allowed by the programme.
56. Overall Fixed Loss
Use this when the programme defines its maximum loss as a fixed account-currency amount.
57. Profit Target %
Enter the profit target required for the selected phase.
58. Daily Basis
Prop programmes do not all calculate daily loss in the same way.
The Daily basis setting allows the configured model to match the applicable rule more closely.
Make sure this matches the official programme documentation.
59. Drawdown Model
The available drawdown models include:
-
Fixed
-
End-of-day trailing
-
Intraday trailing
Fixed Drawdown
The loss threshold is based on a fixed reference level.
End-of-Day Trailing Drawdown
The threshold can move based on qualifying end-of-day account values.
Intraday Trailing Drawdown
The threshold can move with qualifying intraday account values.
These rules vary considerably between firms.
Always configure the model using the official rules for your programme.
60. Trailing Stop Floor
Some trailing drawdown rules stop moving after reaching a particular level.
The Trailing stop floor can be used where this applies.
If the programme does not use such a rule, leave the value according to the appropriate configuration for your account.
61. Reset Hour and Minute
These values define the programme's daily reset time.
Enter the time specified by the prop provider.
62. UTC Base Offset
The UTC offset allows the reset calculation to be related to the programme's timezone.
63. DST
DST controls daylight-saving handling for reset calculations where required.
Because prop providers may use different timezone rules, check their current documentation.
64. Minimum Trading Days
If a challenge requires a minimum number of qualifying trading days, enter that number here.
The Prop Dashboard can then show progress toward the requirement.
65. Consistency %
Some programmes limit how much of the total profit may come from the best trading day.
If your programme has such a rule, enter the applicable percentage.
If it does not, leave the consistency rule disabled.
The dashboard can estimate:
-
best-day contribution
-
whether the rule is currently satisfied
-
additional profit that may be required to satisfy it
66. Limits & Open Risk
The Prop Dashboard contains a section showing configured limits and open-position risk.
This may include:
-
Daily threshold
-
Overall threshold
-
Drawdown model
-
Trailing peak
-
Loss to existing Stop Losses
-
Positions without Stop Loss
-
Headroom if Stop Losses are hit
-
After-reset preview
-
Daily basis
67. Loss to Existing Stop Losses
The utility can estimate the additional loss that would occur if currently configured Stop Losses were reached.
This is an estimate.
Actual results may differ because of:
-
spread
-
slippage
-
gaps
-
execution conditions
68. Positions Without Stop Loss
The dashboard shows how many open positions do not currently have a Stop Loss.
This is especially useful when account loss limits are important.
69. Headroom if Stop Losses Are Hit
This estimates the remaining prop headroom if the currently configured Stop Losses were executed at approximately their expected levels.
It is not a guarantee of execution price.
70. After-Reset Preview
The After-Reset Preview estimates how much room may remain after the next configured daily reset if the current account situation continues.
It is provided as an analytical guide only.
71. Monitoring / Events
The Prop Dashboard keeps a record of important monitored events.
Examples can include:
-
rules being changed
-
monitoring gaps
-
observed threshold events
-
changes in monitoring state
Recent events appear in the MONITORING / EVENTS panel.
72. Continuous Monitoring Status
The dashboard may show a message such as:
CONTINUOUS SINCE LAST OBSERVED CHECK
This means the utility has not detected a monitoring gap since the previous recorded observation.
73. Monitoring Gaps
If MetaTrader 5 or the utility was not running, Trade History Analyzer cannot know every intraday equity movement that occurred during that period.
It may therefore report a monitoring gap.
This is important because closed-trade history alone cannot prove that an intraday prop limit was never temporarily breached.
74. Prop Alerts
The Prop Settings ALERTS / PAYOUT page allows warning thresholds to be configured.
The utility can provide informational alerts when remaining headroom becomes low.
Alerts do not automatically close positions.
Trade History Analyzer remains a read-only analytics utility.
75. Rules Source and Verification Date
You can record:
-
Rules source
-
Last verified date
This is useful because prop firms can change programme rules.
Recording the source and date makes it easier to remember which rules were used when the account was configured.
76. Funded Account / Payout Settings
Prop mode also includes funded-account settings such as:
-
Payout cycle days
-
Profit split %
-
Minimum payout days
Payout tracking becomes relevant when the selected phase is FUNDED.
These values are informational calculations based on the settings entered by the user.
Always check the prop provider's official payout rules.
77. CSV Pack
Press CSV PACK to export analytical data as CSV files.
The export is intended for users who want to perform additional analysis in software such as:
-
Excel
-
Google Sheets
-
databases
-
statistical software
The exported information may include areas such as:
-
Summary
-
Trades
-
Daily performance
-
Symbols
-
Strategies
-
Trade-movement information
-
Compliance information
The export uses the active analytical selection where applicable.
78. HTML Report
Press HTML REPORT to create a local HTML analysis report.
The report is designed to provide a portable summary that can be opened in a normal web browser.
The report uses the currently selected analytical dataset.
79. Dark and Light Themes
The button near the top-right allows the interface to switch between dark and light appearance.
When the button says LIGHT, pressing it switches to the light theme.
When it says DARK, pressing it switches back to dark mode.
Use whichever is more comfortable.
80. UI Scale
The percentage button near the top-right changes the interface scale.
This is useful for different:
-
screen resolutions
-
monitor sizes
-
Windows scaling settings
If text appears too large or too small, try another UI scale.
81. Minimise / Collapse
Press the - button in the top-right corner to collapse the full analyzer.
The utility becomes a compact strip containing:
-
Trade History Analyzer
-
Read-only analytics
-
EXPAND
-
Settings
The underlying MT5 chart becomes visible again.
Press EXPAND to return to the full dashboard.
Collapsing the interface does not remove the utility from the chart.
82. Changing Chart Timeframe
Changing from one MT5 timeframe to another, for example:
M1 → M5 → H1
does not require the utility to be configured again.
The utility preserves the current working page during MT5's chart refresh.
The Settings screen is not supposed to reopen simply because the timeframe changes.
83. Restarting the Utility
When the utility is genuinely attached, restarted or reloaded, the Settings screen opens first.
This gives the user an opportunity to confirm whether the account should be treated as:
-
Standard
-
Prop
Previously saved settings are retained where applicable.
84. Persistent Settings
Configuration is stored separately using the trading account and broker server.
This means different trading accounts can retain their own configuration.
For example:
-
Account A can be Standard
-
Account B can be Prop
-
Each can have separate settings
85. Account-Wide Prop Monitoring
This is important.
Normal analytics pages can be filtered by:
-
Symbol
-
Magic Number
-
Comment
-
Direction
-
Date
Prop limits, however, must represent the whole account.
A filter showing only one EA must not be used to assume that losses elsewhere on the account do not exist.
The dedicated Prop Dashboard is designed around account-wide monitoring.
86. Read-Only Operation
Trade History Analyzer is an analytics utility.
It does not:
-
Open trades
-
Close trades
-
Modify positions
-
Change Stop Losses
-
Change Take Profits
-
Change lot sizes
-
Perform automated trade management
This means the utility can analyse an account without taking control of trade execution.
87. Why Some Values Can Differ From MT5 Statements
Trade History Analyzer reconstructs completed trading episodes from MetaTrader 5 deal and position history.
Depending on how trades were opened, partially closed, reversed or modified, a reconstructed position episode may not always look identical to an individual deal line in the standard MT5 history.
The utility is designed to analyse complete trading activity rather than simply copy the MT5 History tab.
88. Commission, Swap and Fees
Where available, Net P/L includes:
-
trading profit/loss
-
commission
-
swap
-
fees
This is why Net P/L can differ from the raw price movement of the trade.
89. Manual and EA Trades
The utility supports both:
-
automated EA trades
-
manually opened trades
EA trades can normally be grouped using their Magic Number.
Manual trades normally appear as MANUAL.
90. Multiple EAs
You do not need a separate copy of Trade History Analyzer for every EA.
A single analyzer can examine an account containing many strategies.
Use:
SOURCE / MAGIC
or:
BREAKDOWNS → BY MAGIC
to analyse each strategy.
91. Multiple Symbols
The utility can analyse multiple instruments on the same account.
The chart symbol hosting the utility does not restrict the historical account analysis.
Use the Symbol filter and the Breakdowns pages to investigate individual markets.
92. Tooltips
Many controls and fields have tooltips.
Move the mouse over an item to see a short explanation.
These are useful if you forget what a statistic or control represents.
93. When No Data Is Shown
If a screen says there is no matching data, check:
-
selected date period
-

94. If History Takes Time to Load
Large accounts can contain many deals.
Trade History Analyzer reconstructs position cycles and calculates statistics from the available MT5 history.
A larger history may therefore take longer to load than a small account.
The current history load time is displayed near the top-right of the main workspace.
95. Trade Movement Has Missing Data
Trade Movement analysis requires suitable historical price or tick data.
If the required history is not available, some trades may show incomplete or unavailable movement calculations.
This does not mean the trade itself is missing from the normal trade history.
96. Prop Dashboard Shows a Monitoring Gap
A monitoring gap means the utility cannot confirm what happened continuously during part of the account's history.
Typical causes include:
-
MetaTrader 5 was closed
-
the EA was removed
-
the computer was switched off
-
the trading terminal lost connection
-
the utility was not running on the account
The software deliberately reports the gap rather than pretending continuous monitoring occurred.
97. Prop Rules Must Be Checked by the User
Trade History Analyzer does not guarantee that a particular set of settings matches a prop firm's current rules.
Prop companies may:
-
change programmes
-
change loss calculations
-
change reset times
-
change consistency requirements
-
change payout rules
Always compare your configured settings with the provider's official current documentation.
98. Stop-Loss Risk Is an Estimate
Any estimated loss to a Stop Loss assumes an approximate execution around the configured stop level.
In real trading, the actual result may be different because of:
-
spread
-
market gaps
-
slippage
-
fast markets
-
broker execution
Do not treat the Stop Loss estimate as a guaranteed maximum loss.
99. Historical Performance
Historical analysis describes what happened in the available account history.
It does not predict future performance.
A strategy that performed well historically can perform poorly in the future.
A strategy that performed poorly historically may also behave differently in other market conditions.
