FREE — a chart panel that turns the current ATR into a suggested stop-loss distance and a risk-based lot size, so position sizing stops being guesswork.
100% free, no limitations. If it earns a place on your charts, a short review is the one thing that helps us most — it takes 30 seconds and it is what lets other traders find this tool.
The maths is deliberately simple and fully visible — no black box:
- Suggested SL distance = ATR × a multiple (default 1.5).
- Risk amount = account balance × your risk % per trade (default 1%).
- Suggested lot = risk amount ÷ loss per lot at that SL distance, computed from the broker's own tick value and tick size, rounded down to the lot step and clamped to the broker's minimum and maximum lot.
=== WHAT IT SHOWS ===
- ATR in price units and in pips, for the current symbol and timeframe.
- Suggested stop-loss distance in pips.
- Risk amount in your account currency.
- Suggested lot, ready to type into an order ticket.
- The panel refreshes every 5 seconds and on every tick.
=== HOW TRADERS USE IT ===
A fixed lot ignores volatility: 0.10 lots on a quiet day and 0.10 lots on an NFP day are two very different risks. Sizing from the ATR keeps the money at risk roughly constant — wider stop, smaller lot; tighter stop, bigger lot. Because everything comes from the broker's own symbol properties, it works on any symbol — forex, gold, indices, crypto — with any broker.
=== SETTINGS ===
- InpAtrPeriod (default 14): ATR period.
- InpRiskPercent (default 1.0): risk per trade as % of balance.
- InpAtrSlMult (default 1.5): suggested SL = ATR × this multiple.
- Corner, position, font size and all colours are configurable.
=== HONEST NOTE ===
This panel is informational only — it never places, modifies or closes an order. The suggested lot is only correct for the SL distance shown on the panel; if you place your stop elsewhere, your risk is different.
