FXEA365 Gold Tripwire Breakout — H1 swing breakout for XAUUSD with a performance breaker

IMPORTANT — attach the EA to one XAUUSD chart (any timeframe works; M15 recommended). The EA reads the H1 swings itself. A hedging account is recommended. In the Strategy Tester, choose XAUUSD and "Every tick based on real ticks".

Risk warning first: four run modes are in one dropdown. The default, Ultra, gives the highest return and the deepest drawdown. Pick the mode that matches your tolerance and start on demo or a small account. Backtests are past results, not a promise.

WHAT IT DOES
The EA places a buy-stop at the last confirmed H1 swing high and a sell-stop at the last confirmed H1 swing low of gold, and trades the breakout. Every trade has a stop-loss and a take-profit set as a fraction of the price at entry, and a staged trailing stop locks profit once the move runs in your favour. No grid, no martingale, no averaging-in. At most one position per direction. Average holding time in the test: about 21 minutes.

PERFORMANCE BREAKER
The EA keeps score of its own recent trades (the last 30 by default, real and virtual). When the profit factor of that window falls below 0.3, it stops sending real orders and keeps trading virtually. When the virtual results recover to a profit factor of 1.0, it returns to real trading. Right after you attach it, until 30 trades are recorded, it trades at 0.3x lot size.

Year by year (Ultra, same test): 2020 +311 (PF 1.53) / 2021 +828 (PF 2.46) / 2022 +982 (PF 2.68) / 2023 +427 (PF 1.49) / 2024 +926 (PF 2.23) / 2025 +1,960 (PF 4.45) / 2026 to Oct +2,185 (PF 5.39). Every year was profitable in this test. The 2025-2026 results are larger partly because gold's price and daily range grew, and the stop-loss and take-profit scale with price.

HONEST RISK DISCLOSURE
- Backtests are not a promise of future results. Losing streaks and losing months exist; the breaker reduces them but does not remove them.
- Spread, commission and slippage at your broker change the results. A low-spread account is recommended.
- The lot is fixed per mode (or set by Risk %). Raising it raises the drawdown in the same proportion.
- Trade only with money you can afford to lose.
