I’ve been running the GoldWave signal for some time now and have previously purchased the original GoldWave EA. I've now purchased the GoldWave Ultra EA as well, given the strong real world performance of all these products for me. The signal and the EAs have all proved to be very stable, precise and consistent in their approach to trading. GoldWave has a very high win rate and ranks as my best performer overall, not just in terms of long-term profitability but also in terms of stability, which is just as important to me. I don’t ever have to worry about the potential for the large losses that characterise some of the other EAs relying on high-risk grid and martingale strategies. If you like to sleep well at night knowing your investment is in safe hands then GoldWave is a sound choice. I have personally found the developer to be very helpful, polite and trustworthy. He genuinely wants to see you do well. GoldWave has stood the test of time for me and the developer regularly updates and refines the strategy to ensure it continues to deliver, whether as the EA or as the signal. I've been running GoldWave Ultra EA on my Vantage account using XAUUSD+, and so far my experience has been positive. The EA has successfully executed two profitable trades with automatic lot sizing (0.02 and 0.03 lots). What I appreciate most is that it doesn't force trades just to stay active. What impresses me most is that GoldWave Ultra achieves a high win rate and strong returns on its live signal without using grid or Martingale strategies.

With many other EAs, I could never feel completely comfortable running them because I was always worried that grid or Martingale strategies might result in numerous positions being opened if the market moved against them.

I bought this EA and set it up on an IC Markets account, doing everything the author asked me to. It trades about once a week if you’re lucky, and many weeks it doesn’t trade at all. That’s nowhere near what the description suggests. When it has traded, those trades have lost money. My account history shows them if you want to check. I contacted the author and he did try to help. I followed every step he gave me, and it made no difference. The EA still hardly ever trades, and the few trades it takes lose. There are no refunds on MT5, so I’m stuck with it. I’d say it’s a waste of money, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

Hi Simon, I'm genuinely sorry to see your comment, especially as I've been trying my best to help you resolve this issue. However, there is something I find quite confusing. You have repeatedly told me that GoldWave Ultra has not opened a single trade on your account, including in your latest message. Yet in your review, you now say that the EA has opened trades and that those trades have lost money. Could you please clarify this and show me the trading history of these losing trades? I would really appreciate seeing the actual records so I can investigate properly. I've also received positive feedback from other users running the same EA, with reporting successful trades and results similar to those on my live signal. This is why I'd really like to understand what is happening differently on your account. On 21 October, I also asked you to send me a screenshot of your EA settings and relevant logs so I could check what might be preventing trades. Unfortunately, I still haven't received them. I've never refused to help you. In fact, I even offered to personally check your setup through AnyDesk, but you preferred not to do it. I then suggested a simpler alternative: just send me screenshots of your EA settings so I could investigate without accessing your account. I'm still waiting for those screenshots. I completely understand why you would be concerned if you saw trades in the backtest or on the signal account, but did not see the same trades on your own live account. I just wanted to explain one important point. On MQL5, sellers are not shown the identity of individual buyers, so unfortunately I do not know who has purchased the EA unless the buyer contacts me directly. Because you had not contacted me before leaving the review, I did not have the opportunity to send you the user manual, recommended settings/set file, or to check whether everything on your MT5 was configured correctly. There can be several reasons why a backtest or signal account shows a trade while a particular live account does not, such as differences in broker price feed, spread, execution, slippage, trading conditions, filters, VPS settings, or MT5 configuration. So before concluding that there is a problem with the EA itself, I would really appreciate the opportunity to check your setup properly. Please send me a private message on MQL5. The EA doesn’t trade very frequently, but it has a high win rate and seems to work well even with brokers that have relatively high spreads. Another incredible EA from DEV I can trust with my eyes closed! I don't need to say much the signal speaks for itself but I am someone who lost $30,000 to Grid EAs in 2026 and it's been nothing but devastating and decided not to use Grids on my main accounts anymore. I focused myself on long term single TP/SL EAs and this is where Goldwave and AXIO nailed it. I can sleep at night knowing maximum loss I will suffer on bad day both EAs are as reliable as DEV.
