Built for Prop Firms

Prop firm challenges have strict rules: daily drawdown limits, maximum drawdown limits, and a fixed starting capital. MaxDD Monitor Pro is designed around exactly that. Set your challenge start date and fixed capital — the indicator locks that base and never updates it. All drawdown percentages are calculated against your original challenge capital, exactly how FTMO, The5ers, MyForexFunds and other firms measure it. The challenge date and firm name are always visible at the top of the panel.

Survives VPS Restarts

All data is saved to a local file that persists across terminal restarts and VPS reboots. When you reload the indicator, it recovers the peak balance, historical drawdown, daily drawdown, capital base, and worst float — nothing is lost. On reload with open positions, it also correctly reconstructs the floating drawdown from currently open trades, a critical fix that most similar tools get wrong.

What It Tracks

Live DD: current open floating loss versus balance. DD vs Capital: drawdown against your fixed challenge capital, the key prop firm metric. Daily Peak DD: worst drawdown reached today, reconstructed from closed deals. All-Time Max DD: historical maximum drawdown since the indicator started. Worst Float DD: the worst negative open float ever seen on the account, tracked in real time and saved to file. Daily P&L and Total P&L since challenge start. Open trades with per-symbol breakdown including lots and position count. Historical P&L per symbol. Every drawdown row includes a color-coded progress bar showing how close you are to your warning and alert thresholds.

Alert System

Sound and popup alert when drawdown crosses the warning level, configurable as a percentage of your limit. A second alert fires when the maximum limit is reached. Alerts fire once per threshold cross with no spam, and reset automatically each new trading day.

Six Languages, Auto-Detected

The panel detects your MT5 terminal language automatically and switches all labels accordingly. Supported languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, and Russian. No configuration needed.

Key Parameters

Challenge Start Date filters all history from your challenge start. Fixed Capital sets the base manually or auto-detects from deposit history. Prop Firm Mode locks the capital base permanently. Firm Name displays your firm name in the header. Daily DD Limit and Max DD Limit match your challenge thresholds. Warn threshold gives an early warning before hitting the limit. Compact Mode and Show Symbols control the panel layout.
