Adaptive Price Action Engine — early impressions
Dear Davit,
I have purchased a great many indicators over the years, and your Adaptive Price Action Engine is one of the very few I would place in the top drawer.
What impresses me most is the thought behind its auto optimization. Rather than asking the trader to settle on one fixed collection of parameters, the engine searches recent history for trend settings suited to the market being traded. It gives us two distinct ways to explore that idea: Dual Alpha Trend mode, and Candlestick + Alpha mode, which evaluates price action patterns in the context of the prevailing trend. The signals, higher timeframe context, and on-chart performance figures make the process unusually interesting to follow.
I am still in the early stages of testing, but the accompanying EA has already given me an encouraging little record on my Eightcap demo account. Here is a printout of the closed trades shown in my MT5 history, each at 0.01 lot:

Twelve closed trades, ten profitable and two losing. MT5 shows 40.71 profit in the history footer. The individual profits visible in the screenshot add to 40.59, so I have reproduced the figures as displayed rather than silently adjusting either total.
As well these trades are without grid or martingale which is also very encouraging...
It is far too early to draw conclusions about long-term performance, but the design and these first demo trades have made a strong impression on me. I am looking forward to testing it methodically across more markets and timeframes.
If you have additional set files, I would be delighted to try them—particularly for XAGUSD and the major Forex pairs, and any further guidance you have for XAUUSD and BTCUSD on Eightcap. Your preferred mode, timeframe, and InpOptBars history length for each would be especially helpful.
