The indicator presents a new way of early trend detection using the popular ADX indicator methods. The new system adapts to the market and eliminates additional conditions.
To generate a signal when using the standard ADX indicator, the ADX line should cross some level - 20, 22, 26, etc. However, it is very difficult to select such a level not only for different symbols but also for different timeframes on the same chart which makes ADX practically useless.
The solution has turned out to be simple but conceptual. The new indicator has no such level at all. A new line is calculated for defining a trend. If it crosses +DI upwards, a sell signal is generated; if it crosses -DI upwards, a buy signal is generated. A reverse crossing means an end of a trend.
The signal line has a parameter of sensitivity. The higher the value, the higher the noise filter on high-volatility instruments. The lower the value, the more accurate the signal. The recommended values are 5-10 (the default value is 6).
The new indicator also provides an ability to display data from any standard timeframe.
- Timeframe of ADX (0 - current) - timeframe used for the indicator calculation
- ADX period - ADX indicator period
- Applied price (close, open, etc.) - price type used for calculations
- Sensitivity of signal line - signal line sensitivity (the most optimal values are 5-10)
- Averaging method - signal line averaging method
This Renko Advanced indicator can be considered as a trading system. The indicator offers a different view to see the currency pair: it is a full timeless indicator and it can be used for manual trading or for automatized trading with some expert advisor. When the price reaches a threshold a new block is created. It takes advantage of a visualization similar to Renko visualization type, offering less noise than usual candles bar. The indicator beside the Renko bars, shows also 3 moving aver
Implementation of the Average Directional Movement Index (ADX) indicator described in the book "New Concepts in Technical Trading Systems" by Welles Wilder. The indicator shows the points for opening positions on the chart in the form of arrows. Input Parameters: InpADXPeriod - ADX indicator period; Lev - the level that must be crossed by the ADX line to obtain a signal for opening a position. Condition for Opening a Long Position: The line +DI is higher than -DI; The ADX line crosses the level
The idea of the system is to indentify the reversal patterns using the calculation of the composite candle. The reversal patterns is similar to the "Hammer" and "Hanging Man" patterns in Japanese candlestick analysis. But it uses the composite candle instead the single candle and doesn't need the small body of the composite candle to confirm the reversal. Input parameters: Range - maximal number of bars, used in the calculation of the composite candle. Minimum - minimal size of the composite can
This indicator is built using standard indicators, such as RSI, DeMarker, Momentum, MACD, Force Index, and Moving Averages to produce a trading filter. Trade when two or more signals of the same color appear (blue - for buying, red - for selling). When conflicting signals appear, abstain from trading. At the bottom of the indicator display window is the momentum signal. Red shows downward momentum and blue upward momentum. The signals for momentum are derived from the standard Momentum indicator
The demo version of the indicator does not display data on last 25 bars but is perfect for testing. The Trend Trade indicator displays assumed turning points of the price on the chart in the direction of the trend after correction. It is based on data of the Prise Reversal oscillator with the period 6 and indicators which characterize strength and availability of the trend. When the value of Prise Reversal is in overbought or oversold area (area size is set by a user), and the current trend is
The demo version of the indicator does not display data on last 25 bars but is perfect for testing. The oscillator uses data of standard indicators and some patterns of price movement. Using this data, it forms its own (more accurate) signals of a change in the direction of the price movement. Prise Reversal helps to identify reversal points during the flat, and the price extremums during the trend. At these points, you can enter counter trend with a short take profit. Besides, it indicates tim
Price Channels are also known as Donchian Channels being named after Richard Donchian. They use the highest and lowest price of a set number of periods to create an upper and lower channel or envelope around the price. The upper channel shows the high of the number of periods chosen. The lower channel shows the low of the number of periods chosen. For example, the screenshot shows the Price Channels using 20 periods. The upper channel in the screenshot shows the highest high of the previous 20
The indicator plots two lines by High and Low prices. The lines comply with certain criteria. The blue line is for buy. The red one is for sell. The entry signal - the bar opens above\below the lines. The indicator works on all currency pairs and time frames It can be used either as a ready-made trading system or as an additional signal for a custom trading strategy. There are no input parameters. Like with any signal indicator, it is very difficult to use the product during flat movements. You
The Average Daily Range is an indicator for showing support and resistance zones based on the average daily price range of currency. It is necessary to look for the buy signal when the price goes over the resistance level, and for the sell signal when the price goes over the support level. The indicator shows the static and dynamic levels. Static levels are calculated based on the opening price of the day. Dynamic levels are calculated based on the daily Highs and Lows. ZigZag_FT is a combination of two good indicators. The first one is ZigZag with adjustable wave height (found it in Code Base). The second on is Bill Williams' fractals. These indicators complement each other. ZigZag is used for detecting Elliott waves, and Fractals show the structure of each wave. The height of ZigZags can be (and it should be) adjusted depending on the timeframe the indicator is used with. Fitted values of "Minimum points in a ray" parameter for different timeframes are listed
The divergence indicator displays the divergence of the price and the indicator on the main chart. Divergence is like any other signal. It cannot be used a single signal. It show good results when used together with other indicators. A set of such indicators depends on the trade system. That can moving averages, Fibonacci levels or some other indicators.
The demo version of the indicator does not display data on last 25 bars but is perfect for testing. The Turning point of price indicator displays assumed turning points of the price on the chart. It is based on data of the Prise Reversal oscillator and standard ADX. When the value of Prise Reversal is in overbought or oversold area (area size is set by a user), and the value of the ADX main line exceeds the preset value, the Turning point of price indicator draws an arrow pointed to the furt
The Trend Detect indicator combines the features of both trend indicators and oscillators. This indicator is a convenient tool for detecting short-term market cycles and identifying overbought and oversold levels. A long position can be opened when the indicator starts leaving the oversold area and breaks the zero level from below. A short position can be opened when the indicator starts leaving the overbought area and breaks the zero level from above. An opposite signal of the indicator can
Reversal Hunter is a new leading oscillator. It monitors small changes in volume and price volatility using second derivative, thus providing an accurate prediction of trend reversals. Though Reversal Hunter shows its best results with reliable volume data (tick or real), special option of "synthetic" volume (which uses OHLC data only) is implemented to optimize performance in case of poor or missing volume data. The oscillator is drawn as two-color line for easy detection of trend changes.
This is the same indicator created by Mustapha BELKHAYATE now available for free. This indicator is best used to time the market and enter trades during periods of least risk. Apply this indicator along with the Center of Gravity indicator in order to identify price extremes. Then use free timing to trade potential turning points. This indicator is an oscillator similar in ilk to the Relative Strength Index. Indicator values range from 0 to 100, with values below 30 or 20 signaling overselling a
The indicator detects and displays М. Gartley's Butterfly pattern. The pattern is plotted by the extreme values of the ZigZag indicator (included in the resources, no need to install). After detecting the pattern, the indicator notifies of that by the pop-up window, a mobile notification and an email. The pattern and wave parameters are displayed on the screenshots. The default parameters are used for demonstration purposes only in order to increase the amount of detected patterns. Parameters
The indicator generates early signals basing on ADX reading data combined with elements of price patterns. Works on all symbols and timeframes. The indicator does not redraw its signals. You see the same things on history and in real time. For better visual perception signals are displayed as arrows (in order not to overload the chart). The indicator is a complete analogues of the Trend Monitor indicator for MetaTrader 4 Features The best results are obtained when the indicator works on two ti
Threshold Arrow MA Speed is the important complement tool used to identify new trends in price. The heart of this tool is based in the MA Speed indicator https://www.mql5.com/en/market/product/7752 . This indicator defines with arrows in the main chart when the MA Speed indicator has crossed an specified threshold value, THUS defining a new trending behavior (upward or downward). Input Parameters The input parameters are the same as in MA Speed indicator with the addition of two more threshold
This indicator displays Pivot-Lines, preday high and low, preday close and the minimum and maximum of the previous hour. You just have to put this single indicator to the chart to have all these important lines, no need to setup many single indicators. Why certain lines are important Preday high and low : These are watched by traders who trade in a daily chart. Very often, if price climbs over or falls under a preday low/high there is an acceleration in buying/selling. It is a breakout out of
Technical indicator Relative Strength Index (RSI) is a price following oscillator, whose values vary between 0 and 100. Values below 30 indicate an oversold state, and values above 70 indicate an overbought state. The classic interpretation of it is the following: if the oscillator line goes out of the oversold zone, it is a signal for opening a long position. If it goes out of the overbought zone, it is a signal for opening a short position. The indicator displays entry points on the chart usin
MACD is familiar to all of us. It is based on two moving averages (slow and fast). MACD lrma MT5 is based on two moving averages either. But the cornerstone of these MAs is the linear regression algorithm. Settings: InpFastEMA- fast moving average period InpSlowEMA - slow moving average period InpSignalSMA - signal line period
Free automatic fibonacci is an indicator that automatically plots a fibonacci retracement based on the number of bars you select on the BarsToScan setting in the indicator. The fibonacci is automatically updated in real time as new highest and lowest values appears amongst the selected bars. You can select which level values to be displayed in the indicator settings. You can also select the color of the levels thus enabling the trader to be able to attach the indicator several times with differe
The indicator builds the channel made of Moving Average shifted up and down by "n" ATR ("n" is specified in the settings). If the price crosses the indicator's middle line upwards, it is time to buy. If the price crosses the indicator's middle line downwards, it is time to sell. If the price crosses the indicator's upper line, the market is overbought and local retracement is highly probable. If the price crosses the indicator's lower line, the market is oversold and local retracement is highly
The Zigzag Support And Resistance is an indicator for showing support and resistance zones based on the ZigZag extremums. Indicator Settings PrecalculateBars - the number of bars for the preview; SmoothPercent - smoothing of the levels as a percentage; LiveBars - lifetime of a level in bars; D1Depth - depth of the ZigZag indicator on the D1 chart; H4Depth - depth of the ZigZag indicator on the H4 chart; H1Depth - depth of the ZigZag indicator on the H1 chart; M15Depth - depth of the ZigZag ind
The CCI Crossing indicator displays the intersection of two CCI (Commodity Channel Index) indicators - fast and slow - in a separate window. The intersection area is filled in blue, when the fast CCI is above the slow CCI. The intersection area is filled in red, when the fast CCI is below the slow CCI. This indicator is a convenient tool for measuring the deviations of the current price from the statistically average price and identifying overbought and oversold levels. The indicator can work on
Follow The Line This indicator obeys the popular maxim that: "THE TREND IS YOUR FRIEND" It paints a GREEN line for BUY and also paints a RED line for SELL. (you can change the colors). It gives alarms and alerts of all kinds. IT DOES NOT REPAINT and can be used for all currency pairs and timeframes. Yes, as easy and simple as that. Even a newbie can use it to make great and reliable trades. NB: For best results, get my other premium indicators for more powerful and reliable signals. Get them
The double smoothed Stochastic indicator is similar to the standard Stochastic. The difference is the double smoothing. This feature of the oscillator does help to overcome some of the limitations of the standard Stochastic oscillator to a certain extent. This relates to the Stochastic Oscillator's tendency to fail when the market is trending strongly. The result is a smoother indicator that responds slower to price fluctuations, enabling its usefulness even when the market is trending. This ind
This indicator is based on the Parabolic SAR indicator. It helps the user identifying whether to buy or sell. It comes with an alert that will sound whenever a new signal appears. It also features an email facility. Your email address and SMTP Server settings should be specified in the settings window of the "Mailbox" tab in your MetaTrader 5. Blue arrow up = Buy. Red arrow down = Sell. Line = Trailing Stop. You can use one of my Trailing Stop products that automatically move the Stop Loss and i
Advanced ideas of the popular MACD indicator: It detects and displays classic and reverse divergences (two methods of detecting divergences). It uses different color to highlight an uptrend and a downtrend. Two methods of determining a trend: а) MACD crosses the 0 level (classic signal); б) MACD crosses its own average (early signal). This is a multi-timeframe indicator: it can display MACD data from other timeframes. Two methods of drawing: classic histogram and line. It generates sound and vis
Hull Moving Average (HMA) is well-deservedly popular among traders because of the effective averaging of market noise and a relatively small delay. The current MetaTrader 5 version changes its color when the movement direction changes. Sound and text signals are available. It also supports sending email and push messages. It is possible to trigger a signal on the current incomplete bar, although such a signal may be canceled before completion if conditions are no longer appropriate. One of the p
