KELTNER LIQUIDITY [tambangEA] is a professional market-structure and liquidity analysis indicator that combines the Keltner Channel trend framework with Buy-Side Liquidity (BSL), Sell-Side Liquidity (SSL), and confirmed liquidity sweep signals.

The indicator is designed to help traders identify areas where price may be taking liquidity above swing highs or below swing lows before producing a potential rejection or reversal.

Instead of generating signals from a single oscillator, KELTNER LIQUIDITY evaluates price behavior relative to the Keltner Channel, confirmed swing points, and liquidity levels.

Main Concept

The indicator continuously identifies:

  • Buy-Side Liquidity (BSL) above confirmed swing highs.
  • Sell-Side Liquidity (SSL) below confirmed swing lows.
  • Bullish SSL Sweeps when price trades below SSL but closes back above the liquidity level.
  • Bearish BSL Sweeps when price trades above BSL but closes back below the liquidity level.
  • Structural Breaks when price closes decisively through an active liquidity level.

Signals are evaluated using confirmed candles, helping reduce intrabar signal changes.

Signal Logic

Bullish SSL Sweep

A potential bullish rejection is detected when:

Low < SSL
Close > SSL
Low < Lower Keltner Channel

This represents price taking sell-side liquidity below a previous swing low and then closing back above the liquidity level.

Bearish BSL Sweep

A potential bearish rejection is detected when:

High > BSL
Close < BSL
High > Upper Keltner Channel

This represents price taking buy-side liquidity above a previous swing high and then closing back below the liquidity level.

Keltner Channel Trend

The indicator uses a Keltner Channel based on EMA and ATR calculations.

The Basis line provides a simple visual trend reference:

  • Blue Basis — rising EMA / bullish trend bias.
  • Orange Basis — falling EMA / bearish trend bias.

The Keltner Channel also provides the volatility context used by the liquidity sweep engine.

Professional Dashboard

KELTNER LIQUIDITY includes an integrated dashboard that displays important real-time information directly on the chart.

The dashboard shows:

  • Current Symbol and Timeframe
  • Calculation Mode
  • Keltner Channel Trend
  • Current Basis value
  • Active BSL level
  • Active SSL level
  • Most Recent Liquidity Sweep Signal
  • Signal price and timestamp
  • BUY signal conditions
  • SELL signal conditions

This allows traders to quickly understand the current indicator state without manually analysing every chart element.

Multi Symbol Dashboard

The indicator includes a dedicated MULTI SYMBOL panel positioned below the main dashboard.

Default symbols include:

XAUUSD
EURUSD
GBPUSD
USDJPY
AUDUSD
USDCAD
USDCHF
NZDUSD

The symbol list can be customized in the indicator inputs.

Simply click a symbol button to change the current chart.

The chart timeframe remains unchanged when switching symbols.

The currently active symbol is clearly highlighted in Gold.

Automatic Broker Prefix / Suffix Detection

KELTNER LIQUIDITY automatically attempts to resolve broker-specific symbol naming formats.

For example:

XAUUSD → XAUUSD.a

XAUUSD → XAUUSDm

EURUSD → mEURUSD

EURUSD → EURUSD.pro

EURUSD → mEURUSD.pro

This makes the Multi Symbol dashboard suitable for brokers using custom prefixes or suffixes.

Liquidity Zones

The indicator visually displays active liquidity zones directly on the chart.

BSL — Buy-Side Liquidity

Located above confirmed swing highs.

These areas may contain:

  • Stop losses from SELL positions
  • Buy-stop breakout orders
  • Liquidity resting above previous highs

SSL — Sell-Side Liquidity

Located below confirmed swing lows.

These areas may contain:

  • Stop losses from BUY positions
  • Sell-stop breakout orders
  • Liquidity resting below previous lows

When liquidity is swept or structurally broken, the corresponding zone is updated accordingly.

Confirmed Candle Signals

Liquidity sweep signals are generated only after the signal candle has closed.

This is important because during an unfinished candle, price may temporarily move through a liquidity level and later close beyond it.

Waiting for candle confirmation helps distinguish between:

Liquidity Sweep

Price penetrates the liquidity level but closes back inside.

and

Structural Break

Price closes decisively beyond the liquidity level.

Calculation Modes

The indicator provides two calculation approaches.

ORIGINAL Mode

Designed to preserve the original Keltner Channel and liquidity qualification behavior.

CORRECTED PIVOT Mode

Uses pivot-aligned Keltner Channel qualification for traders who prefer the liquidity level to be evaluated directly against the Keltner Channel conditions of the actual pivot candle.

This gives users flexibility between compatibility and a more structurally aligned calculation method.

Signal Buffers

The indicator provides dedicated signal buffers that can be accessed by Expert Advisors using iCustom() .

Available signal outputs include:

  • BUY / SSL Sweep
  • SELL / BSL Sweep

This allows developers to integrate KELTNER LIQUIDITY signals into automated trading systems, dashboards, scanners, or alert systems.

Suggested Usage

KELTNER LIQUIDITY can be used for:

  • Liquidity sweep trading
  • Reversal setups
  • Mean-reversion analysis
  • Market structure confirmation
  • Intraday trading
  • Scalping
  • Swing trading
  • Multi-symbol monitoring
  • Manual trading confirmation
  • EA signal integration

The indicator can be applied to Forex, Gold, indices, cryptocurrencies, and other instruments supported by MetaTrader.

For Gold traders, it can be particularly useful for monitoring liquidity behavior around important swing highs and lows.

Recommended Workflow

  1. Identify the current Keltner Channel trend.
  2. Monitor Active BSL and SSL levels.
  3. Wait for price to interact with a liquidity zone.
  4. Wait until the candle closes.
  5. Confirm whether the event is a liquidity sweep or structural break.
  6. Evaluate market structure and current volatility.
  7. Check spread and trading conditions.
  8. Apply appropriate stop-loss, position sizing, and risk management.
  9. Execute only when the setup matches your trading plan.

Important
