The Simplest EURUSD Setup I've Made — 63% Winrate & Free Set File Inside | Nova FI Trader 15M

FI Period 1  ·  63.33% Winrate  ·  1.29 Profit Factor  ·  7.49% Max DD  ·  Free Until End of 2026

✓ Nova FI Trader is completely free until the end of 2026 — and so is the set file in this post.

No purchase. No trial limitations. Download, attach, and test it yourself.

This is probably not what you expect a 15-minute EURUSD post to look like.

No suspiciously perfect equity curve. No 47 parameters tuned to one specific year. No exotic logic that only works in hindsight.

Just a single Force Index period, two clean exit levels, and four years of EURUSD data — and it came out 63% of trades profitable.

Here's everything: the results, the reasoning, the settings, and the free set file to run it yourself.

The Numbers First

Backtest period: 2021–2025  |  Account: $1,000,000 simulated  |  Leverage: 1:100  |  Risk: 1% fixed per trade

Metric Result Note
Net Profit $258,000 On $1M simulated account
Win Rate 63.33% Majority of trades close profitably
Profit Factor 1.29 Positive across full 4-year window
Max Drawdown 7.94% Controlled exposure throughout
Total Trades 210 ~52/year — selective, not reactive
Test Period 2021–2025 Covers trends, ranges, and volatility spikes

210 trades over four years on a 15-minute chart. That works out to roughly four entries per month. If you want constant activity, this isn't it — and that's intentional. The system only fires when the Force Index condition is cleanly met. Quality over quantity.

Chart Backtest

Why Period 1 — And Why That's the Interesting Part

When I ran the full optimization across FI periods and parameter combinations, one result stood out:

With FI Period 1, almost every SL/TP combination I tested came back profitable.

Very few settings produced losses. That kind of robustness across the parameter space is the opposite of overfitting — it suggests the signal itself carries real  edge on this pair and timeframe.

Period 1 means the Force Index is computed on a single bar — maximum responsiveness. No smoothing, no lag. On EURUSD 15M, where institutional order flow leaves consistent footprints in volume, this turns out to be surprisingly clean.

Higher periods average the signal. Period 1 reads it the moment it forms. For this specific context, that raw reading works — and the optimization data backs it up across dozens of SL/TP variants.

How the Strategy Actually Works

Nova FI Trader is built around the Force Index (FI) — an indicator that multiplies price change by volume, measuring whether real participation is behind a move or not.

  • Buy: Current bar FI crosses above threshold & previous bar was below it
  • Sell: Current bar FI crosses below threshold & previous bar was above it
  • Threshold: 0 (neutral crossover — price shift confirmed by volume)

No prediction. No stacked lagging averages. Just one question: did momentum just flip, and did real volume confirm it?

The same core logic powers all Nova FI Trader setups. If you want to see how it behaves on a different pair and timeframe, the previous USDCHF 5M test is here.

The Set File Library

This EURUSD 15M configuration is attached to this post as a free set file — ready to use, matching this exact backtest.

But it's one of 13 tested configurations I've built for Nova FI Trader across different pairs, timeframes, and risk profiles. They're all organized into a single library folder.

Want the full set library? Message me directly:

"sets"  /  "EURUSD set"  /  "FI sets"  /  "library"
 — and I'll send the whole package.

Built on the Nova Framework

  • No grid. No martingale. No averaging into losses.
  • Risk-based position sizing — same % exposure on every trade
  • Rule-based logic — transparent, structured, testable
  • Consistent behavior across pairs and timeframes

The goal isn't to find one setting that looks perfect on one year of data. It's to build something with consistent, repeatable behavior — so when you run it live, you know what to expect.

Free Until the End of 2026

Nova FI Trader is completely free until December 31, 2026.

Use the time. Test the setups. Understand how momentum-confirmed entries behave across different conditions — before it becomes a paid product.
