It is a Standard Deviation that you tune directly on the chart, live, in its own window. A small panel sits on your chart with a slider for the period. The real Standard Deviation, not a wrapper. The indicator runs its own textbook implementation: a simple moving average of the close over the period, then the population standard deviation of the close around that average -- no built-in handle in between.
