What is GenX Scalper?
GenX Scalper is a fully automated Expert Advisor for EURJPY on MetaTrader 5, designed for short-term intraday trading. It monitors the market during its scheduled operating windows and executes buy and sell trades automatically according to its proprietary internal logic. This is a robust strategy that I have been using for many years and which comprises several sub-strategies. The bot only opens one position at a time, with its stop-loss (SL) and take-profit (TP). It’s a strategy that I personally use in my portfolio and which has brought me great returns.

How it works
GenX Scalper is designed to run on EURJPY on the M5 timeframe. The Expert Advisor processes new market data at regular intervals and checks whether a new trade is allowed. Its execution process considers the internal trading conditions, the configured operating schedule, the maximum spread, date filters and available margin before sending an order.
When a valid opportunity is detected, the EA opens a market position and calculates the volume according to the selected sizing mode. A predefined stop loss and take profit are assigned automatically after execution. If the position moves in the desired direction, the trailing stop can follow the price and protect part of the open profit. Positions can also be closed automatically at the end of their defined trading window.
The EA includes automatic handling for daylight-saving time changes and predefined no-trade dates. It also avoids opening trades when the spread is above the configured limit or when the account does not have enough free margin. This keeps the execution fully automated while maintaining clear operational and risk controls.
Note: It is designed for brokers which use the GMT+2 format and switch to GMT+3 at the start of US Daylight Saving Time (DST). If your broker has different trading hours, you’ll need to adjust the time settings. If you have any questions, please get in touch!

GenX Scalper includes fixed-lot and compound-risk position sizing, allowing the user to choose between a constant volume and a balance-based risk model.
The trade management system combines initial stop loss, take profit, trailing stop and scheduled position closing. Maximum spread and slippage can be configured, and the EA checks available margin before attempting to open a trade. Failed execution or modification attempts are handled automatically.
A built-in chart panel displays the current status, symbol, timeframe, spread and open buy/sell positions. New entries can be paused or enabled directly from the panel, while existing positions continue to be managed by the Expert Advisor.
No external calendar or time-service connection is required.

Setup
Attach the Expert Advisor to a single EURJPY chart on the M5 timeframe and enable automated trading in the terminal. Choose fixed lots or compound-risk sizing, configure your preferred risk and execution settings, and leave the chart open. The Expert Advisor handles entries, trade protection and exits automatically.
