Hello! I ran backtests on the DeMoore EA, and the results are matching very well with the performance shown on the developer’s real account and also with what I am seeing on my own account. I admit that there was a significant loss on one trade last week, but the EA is already gradually recovering that loss, which I consider normal behavior for a trading strategy. So far, the DeMoore EA seems quite reliable to me. Losses are part of trading, especially with an EA that does not use a grid strategy. One aspect that gives me a lot of confidence is that it works with a maximum of only two simultaneous trades, keeping exposure and risk more controlled. I also consider it very positive that there is a good correlation between the backtest results, the developer’s real account, and the results on my own account. I will continue using and monitoring the EA, as I am satisfied with how the strategy has been performing so far. Congratulations on your work, and I hope it continues this way!

While its trading frequency is highly selective, this EA follows a strategy of "steadily capturing profits where the opportunity arises"; it limits losses while occasionally generating substantial gains when market conditions align. It offers peace of mind by performing exactly as demonstrated in backtests and live signal data. In terms of stable operation, I consider it an outstanding choice among the many EAs available for Gold trading. I highly recommend it as a foundational EA to enhance the robustness of your portfolio.

The loss on the September 15th trade was simply a stroke of bad luck—the result of getting caught in a clash between whales—and I believe there were absolutely no issues with the setup itself from the perspective of a trend-following EA. The proof lies in the fact that the price didn't just hit the stop-loss immediately after the setup; instead, after initially incurring a floating loss, the price pulled back twice, allowing the trade to record a significant floating profit. Granted, it was a risky setup right at a strong support line, but taking risks is unavoidable in trading. I can state with confidence that this system is far more reliable than the manual trading of the fool who posted a negative review after just a single loss. This is one of the most consistent EA's I have seen and the backtests seem to align well with live testing. The author is also very transparent with results by showing a live signal that matches the same trades my broker has been taking as well which is huge. If an author doesn't show you a live signal for there EA performance, don't even bother buying their EA no matter how good the backtests look! All in all though, I think I have found a great EA!

Update 09/16: I want to address the two negative reviews above and share my experience after more than three weeks of using this EA.

First, based on the trading behavior I’ve observed, this is not a grid EA where multiple orders are placed every X pips in drawdown. This EA can open same direction trades but so far the most that has ever happened is two in a row and only when it makes sense, not as a static strategy.

Regarding Radu Bot’s review: I understand being frustrated by a loss, but using the EA for one day and then declaring that the positive reviews and backtests are fake, and that Benicanoko is a scammer, is a serious accusation that needs evidence. One losing day does not establish any of those things.

In my own testing using “Every tick based on real ticks,” the backtest trades have matched every live trade taken during the more than three weeks I’ve been running the EA, including yesterday’s loss and Benicanko literally just pushed an update that updated the EA's close logic to where the loss yesterday actually never would have happened so he is on top of ensuring this EA is top notch in the logic it uses, but that loss is still reflected in Benicanoko’s De Moore live signal.

I don’t know what risk settings another user chose, so I won’t speculate. However, position sizing has a major impact on how much damage a losing trade can do. An EA’s results need to be evaluated alongside the settings used, rather than judged solely on one day’s outcome.

I can’t speak for every reviewer, but my review is genuine and based on my own experience. This EA has worked well for me so far, and I’m sharing both the positive results and the loss we all just incured yesterday. Anyone considering it should review the live signal, test it independently, and choose risk settings they’re comfortable with.

Warning: Live signals and backtests do not match real execution at all Recently in October, I noticed severe discrepancies between the developer's live signals, backtest results, and my actual real-account trades.

Trades occurred on my account that were completely missing from the live signals, resulting in unnecessary losses.

Conversely, valid trades that showed up on the live signals were never executed on my account.

The backtest results are an even greater mess and do not match reality in any way.

I reported these issues to the developer, but I only received a brief acknowledgment with zero actual action or support taken.

For reference, I am running this EA on a Forex VPS with a TMGM Raw Trading Account.

Before purchasing this EA, please keep the following in mind:

1. Live signals and backtest results differ drastically from real trading.

2. This EA utilizes an extremely wide Stop Loss (SL).

3. The Risk-to-Reward ratio is terrible—profits are tiny while losses are massive. Once a loss hits, it takes an exceptionally long time to recover.

If the developer updates the logic and the EA improves, I will update my rating accordingly.
