What is Pi Cycle Projections?

Pi Cycle Projections is a comprehensive trading system for MetaTrader 5 that gives you a dual advantage: it not only identifies high-probability entry signals (Moving Average crossover) in the present but also charts a visual map of potential future market scenarios.

Think of it as a two-in-one system:

• An Intelligent Signal Generator that tells you when to act (Pi moving average crosses).

• A Strategic Cycle Projector that shows you where the price could go.

Both functionalities are based on the powerful concept of "Pi" cycles but are reinforced with multiple optional filters to reduce noise. (Note: activating the filters will cause the projection to disappear if one of the filters isn't met).

Component 1: The Intelligent Pi Moving Average Crossover Signal Generator (The "Now")

Normally, Pi signals are generated at moving average crossovers. This indicator, however, incorporates a process that rarely produces buy or sell arrows, as it follows a strict 4-layer validation process:

1. Pi Moving Average Crossover: The signal originates when the fast moving average (e.g., 111) crosses the slow moving average multiplied by Pi (e.g., 350 * 3.14).

2. Strength Filter (ADX): The signal is only valid if the ADX confirms that a trend exists with sufficient strength, preventing weak or sideways movements.

3. Participation Filter (Volume): The volume on the crossover candle must be higher than average, indicating that there is real conviction behind the move.

4. Volatility Filter (ATR): The crossover must have a minimum separation, which dynamically adapts to market volatility (using the ATR), to ignore insignificant crosses.

When an arrow appears, it comes with optional alerts (on-screen, push, or email) so you don't miss a validated opportunity. (Keep in mind that the arrow is sporadic; the original strategy is the Pi moving average crosses).

Component 2: The Market Cycle Projector (The "Future")

You can activate the projection feature. The indicator will use that entry point as the start of a new cycle and draw on your chart:

• Dashed Projection Lines: They trace a visual path from the signal point to a future price and time target.

• Price and Time Targets: It shows potential price levels and the estimated dates when the cycle could be completed.

• Multiple Cycles: You can view up to 2 or 3 simultaneous projections (e.g., short, medium, and long cycles) starting from the same origin.

The cycle projections are dynamic and automatically recalculate when new validated moving average crosses are detected. They function as an intelligent navigation system that continuously updates the projected trajectory based on the most recent market information.

The indicator uses an adaptive projection algorithm that recalculates price targets when new valid crossover patterns are confirmed. This real-time update ensures that the projections always reflect current market conditions without affecting performance.

• Wait for a Crossover: The indicator notifies you of an entry opportunity, either a crossover or possibly an arrow (the arrow will be seen very rarely, as it has already been filtered by strength, volume, and volatility).

Fully Adaptable to Your Style

You can customize every aspect of the indicator:

• Adjust the Moving Average Periods: Use the standard settings (e.g., 111/350) for D1 to H4 swing trading, or combine them with faster values (e.g., 11/35) for scalping.

• Enable or Disable Filters: Decide whether you want to use the ADX and Volume filters based on the asset or timeframe. (It is recommended to have them disabled; only activate them after your own testing and validation).

• Show or Hide Projections: You can use it solely as a signal generator or activate the projections for a more in-depth analysis.
