⚠️ CRITICAL: Lot Size Configuration Rule
Why 0.02 Is the Base Lot
KDB-2's proprietary 50%/50% partial close system requires a base lot of 0.02 to function correctly.
Each entry is automatically split into 2 parts at TP1 and TP2:
✅ 0.02 lot → 0.01 / 0.01 (perfect 50/50 split)
This ratio is the result of extensive backtest optimization across 15 months of BTCUSD data. The 50/50 distribution balances:

❌ Common Mistakes to Avoid
❌ Mistake #1: Using lot below 0.02
❌ 0.01 lot — Cannot split 50/50 (broker minimum is 0.01)
❌ 50% of 0.01 = 0.005 — Below broker minimum, partial close fails
❌ Mistake #2: Random scaling
❌ 0.03, 0.05, 0.07... — Not multiples of 0.02, breaks the 50/50 ratio
❌ 0.05 lot — Splits to 0.025/0.025 (broker may reject odd decimals)
❌ 0.07 lot — Splits to 0.035/0.035 (not aligned with broker step)
❌ Mistake #3: Expecting balance MDD to predict equity MDD
❌ "Balance MDD is 10%, so my equity is safe" — WRONG
✅ Equity MDD can reach 38%+ during strong trends — this is normal for mean reversion
This is why proper lot sizing relative to your account is critical.
