What is a Grid System?
A Grid System is a trading method that opens additional positions at predefined or dynamic price levels based on market movement and candle conditions, improving the average entry price and aiming to close the entire basket at a combined profit target. A Grid System without proper limits can be dangerous, but with effective entry logic and risk control, it can become a highly consistent trading approach.
Osloma FlipPro, by default limits the maximum drawdown of each grid basket for each strategy at a 0.01 lot size on XAUUSD to $500, configurable through the input settings. This represents the maximum basket loss if price moves aggressively in the opposite direction.

Multi-Strategy Approach
Osloma FlipPro combines three standalone grid systems that were previously tested and traded independently in live market conditions for the past two months. They are now integrated into a single EA with the objective of generating more entries, thereby targeting higher overall returns in a shorter period of time to better compensate for the risk taken on each trade basket. With all strategies running simultaneously, the system can run up to 3 baskets at a time. The number of baskets allowed at any given time is controlled by the Max Baskets at a time input available on the settings page. For a more conservative approach, you can set the EA to run only one basket at a time. For a more aggressive trade sequence, you can allow it to run up to 3 baskets simultaneously, which happens only when multiple strategies generate signals within a common timeframe.
Stoploss & DD Protection
The default maximum drawdown for each 0.01 lot basket for each strategy is set to $500. It can be changed—either increased or reduced—from the Input settings of the EA on your MT5 terminal. Some experienced users may prefer to widen the stop, giving the market more space to recover, while others may prefer to tighten the DD limit. It entirely depends on the user's risk appetite and understanding of the market and the trading system. Please understand, however, that during aggressive market reversals against the trade, the stop or DD Protection can be hit, although such events have historically been very rare.
Cent Account Compatible
Osloma FlipPro has been tested on Cent Accounts to work as a fast-paced systematic compounding system. A $500 account, for example, becomes a 50,000-Cent account, and with 50,000 in balance, there is much more room to deploy the compounding AutoLot lot-sizing model. With AutoLot, the lot size progressively increases with each batch of profitable trades, allowing the account to grow much faster if the winning streak continues. The downside, however, is that with every increase in lot size, the basket risk associated with each entry also gradually increases. To help automatically preserve capital as the lot size grows, Osloma FlipPro uses a setting called BufferCapital, which sets aside a portion of your steadily growing main capital and excludes it from the AutoLot calculation.
Risk & Reward of a Grid System
A grid system adds to a losing position with the objective of exiting each basket with a small profit. It essentially thrives on a projected high win rate against the backdrop of a comparatively much higher basket risk. The conventional Reward-to-Risk ratio of a grid system, therefore, carries relatively little meaning, as the system itself is designed in this way.
A well-designed grid system can survive dynamic market conditions for a very long time, and the idea is to generate more profit than the basket risk during these extended winning streaks. In the worst-case scenario, if an adverse reversal move does occur, the system still has the Basket Stoploss / DD Protection in place to limit the loss to our predefined maximum risk level.
