How it works — in simple terms
Pillar 1: Machine learning and manual settings selection
The main task of any trading robot is to predict future price movements. The quality of these predictions directly affects the profitability of trades. Most robots using machine learning work on an outdated principle: all computations happen directly on the VPS where both trading and data processing occur simultaneously. This creates two problems:
- It limits the capabilities of machine learning.
- It reduces trading quality due to VPS load.
My approach is different:
- All computations are performed on powerful servers where I conduct deep machine learning.
- MetaTrader is used only for trading, not calculations — that's what it was created for.
- I manually select the best settings based on learning results and upload them to the synchronization server.
The robot periodically loads fresh optimizations from the server and updates settings "on the fly". This approach provides two key advantages:
- Continuous increase in computational power, hence the robot trades with ever better quality.
- Possibility of full-fledged multicurrency learning, which other robots cannot handle due to technical limitations.
Pillar 2: Diversification
Diversification is one of the most powerful methods for increasing trading stability. It allows you to:
- Smooth out the profit curve.
- Reduce drawdowns.
- Safely increase trade frequency.
Most robots trade one or several predetermined currency pairs. Such "diversification" is minimal and has almost no effect. My robot fixes this quite easily:
- It trades all currency pairs simultaneously, maximally enhancing the diversification effect.
- It automatically distributes trade volume so that each pair contributes evenly.
This eliminates the situation where all risk is concentrated on a single instrument. The distribution system works fully automatically.
Pillar 3: Portfolio trading and additional modes
When we distribute trading volumes among many currency pairs and chart periods, it becomes possible to apply portfolio effects — something like "fine-tuning" the strategy. This means exactly the following:
- You can enhance hedging by considering the currency composition in trading instruments.
- You can amplify the influence of individual currencies or, conversely, compensate for it.
- You can enable additional trading modes.
Among these modes are:
- Martingale.
- Averaging.
- Long-term position holding.
- Trading on positive swaps.
- Advanced filters.
