Midas Gold Weaver EA is an Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5. It is designed for gold symbols such as XAUUSD. The program combines a multi-timeframe trend check with optional extra entries at a growing distance from the first position.

The first position is opened only when the selected signal agrees with the allowed trade direction. In the default built-in mode the Expert Advisor reads several timeframes. A timeframe counts as bullish when price is above a rising moving average, and bearish when price is below a falling moving average. A new series can start when enough timeframes agree. Optional filters can block an entry when volatility is low or when the momentum reading is already stretched.

After the first position, further positions in the same direction may be added if price moves against the basket by a set distance. The distance can stay fixed or grow from a chosen layer onward. Lot size can stay fixed or increase by a multiplier, with a maximum lot limit. An optional hedge mode allows a buy series and a sell series at the same time. New series can be turned off from the inputs or from the chart panel.

Trade direction can follow a higher-timeframe moving average, stay buy only, stay sell only, or be switched from the panel. An optional fast-track mode can allow the first entry on a lower agreement count for a limited time after a fresh direction change. An optional setting can close the opposite basket when the trend filter flips.

Exits can use broker stop loss and take profit, or virtual levels managed by the Expert Advisor. A virtual trailing close is available. A drawdown-reduction function can close the first layer together with a later layer when the later layer covers the first layer loss by a set margin.

Protection tools include a spread limit, session hours, a Friday and weekend block with an optional force close, a Monday start delay, and a block around the broker daily reset hour. The news filter uses the MetaTrader economic calendar. High-impact and medium-impact events can be filtered by currency list, with separate minutes before and after each event. Vertical lines can mark those events on the chart.

Account controls include a peak-equity drawdown halt with an optional close of all positions and a cooldown, plus a separate lifetime stop measured from the balance recorded when the Expert Advisor is attached. The lifetime stop does not reset during the same run.

The chart panel shows basket size, floating result, equity, spread, direction, signal state, news status, and the protection switches. Buttons can pause a side, close a basket, toggle new series, switch manual and automatic direction, and turn news filters on or off. Closed-trade result labels can be drawn on the chart. In the Strategy Tester visual mode a lighter status line can be used instead of the full panel.

Recommended use: gold symbol, hedging account, raw or low-spread conditions, and AutoTrading enabled. Attach the Expert Advisor to one chart of the traded symbol. Test the defaults in the Strategy Tester on that symbol before live use. Layered entries and a lot multiplier increase exposure when price continues against the basket. Choose starting lot, maximum orders, and the account drawdown limits to match the deposit and risk you accept.

Main inputs

Basic parameters: allow new series, allow buy, allow sell, hedge mode, maximum orders, starting lot, optional money-management lot, lot multiplier, maximum lot, magic number, maximum spread, trading hours.

Virtual exits: real and virtual take profit, real and virtual stop loss, virtual trailing start and step.

Distance: fixed distance in points, layer from which distance grows, distance multiplier.

Drawdown reduction: enable, layer number used for the pair close, extra percent required on the later layer.

Direction: manual panel, buy only, sell only, or automatic trend filter with timeframe and moving-average period. Optional close of the opposite basket on a flip. Optional fast-track window after a flip.

Account stops: peak-equity drawdown percent, close-all option, cooldown in minutes or until the next day, lifetime drawdown percent from the starting balance.

Time guards: Friday stop hour, Friday close hour, Monday start hour, server reset hour and block length.

News filter: high and medium importance, minutes before and after, currency list, chart lines.

Signal source: built-in multi-timeframe trend, moving-average cross, custom indicator buffers, or manual buttons only. Multi-timeframe period list, agreement count, and optional volatility and momentum filters.

Panel and labels: show or hide the dashboard, colors, position, profit labels.
