SuperTrend Sentinel Levels is a non-repainting SuperTrend indicator for MetaTrader 5 that combines the classic SuperTrend trend-following engine with a five-gate confluence filter for high-quality signal selection. Every trend flip draws a buy or sell arrow plus a full risk architecture on the chart -- Entry, Stop Loss (Fixed or Trailing), TP1, TP2 and TP3 -- and a comprehensive 18-row dashboard tracks every market-context metric a trader needs to evaluate the current setup. An 11-channel alert package routes signals through popup, sound, email and mobile push notifications.

How It Works
SuperTrend Engine
The indicator builds the SuperTrend line from a configurable ATR (default period 10, multiplier 3.0) applied to (High + Low) / 2 . The trend state ratchets one direction at a time -- the line stays bullish until price closes below the previous bar's bullish trail, and vice versa. Around the line a configurable buffer zone (default 0.01% of price) is drawn as a dotted band to give traders an at-a-glance volatility envelope. The trend state machine is identical to the canonical Pine v6 implementation, and signal evaluation is gated by shift >= 1 (the just-closed bar) so signals never repaint on the live tick.
Five-Gate Confluence Filter
Every trend flip generates a raw signal, then runs the close through five independent confluence gates:
- EMA(100) Bias -- Block longs while the close is below EMA(100), block shorts above.
- RSI Extreme Filter -- Block longs when RSI is above the Overbought threshold (default 70), block shorts when below Oversold (default 30).
- ADX Trending -- Block signals when ADX is below the minimum threshold (default 20). Pure ranging conditions get filtered out.
- Volume Above Average -- Block signals on bars where tick volume is below its N-bar moving average (default 20).
- HTF SuperTrend Agreement -- Block signals against the higher-timeframe SuperTrend direction. The HTF is computed as the current chart timeframe multiplied by a user-tunable factor (default 4x).
Three filter modes select how many gates must pass: Loose (no gates), Balanced (3 of 5), Strict (all gates pass). The chart visuals -- arrows, TP/SL lines, Entry line, dashboard Last Signal row -- always draw on every trend flip regardless of gate state. Gates only filter alert firing, so the trader sees the full historical signal record on the chart and the Confluence row in the dashboard tells them the quality of the current bar.
ATR-Based Risk Architecture
Every signal automatically calculates Entry (signal close), Stop Loss (configurable ATR multiplier, default 2.5x, Fixed or Trailing), TP1 (default 1.0x ATR from entry), TP2 (default 2.0x ATR) and TP3 (default 3.0x ATR). All lines extend forward as rays to the right edge of the chart and are labeled with their level (ENTRY, SL, TP1, TP2, TP3). The dashboard tracks which TPs have been hit since the signal opened with a "V" mark next to each price, and shows an "X HIT" flag on the SL row when the stop has been touched.
18-Row Confirmation Dashboard
The dashboard sits at any of six corner positions with user-tunable horizontal and vertical pixel offsets. It tracks Symbol, Timeframe, Trend, Trend Bars (count of consecutive bars in the current trend), HTF Trend, EMA(100) Bias, RSI(14), ADX(14), Volume ratio (current vs N-bar average), ATR(14) (value and percent of price), Last Signal (BUY / SELL + bars since), Entry, Stop Loss (with HIT flag), TP1 | TP2 | TP3 (with HIT marks), and the Confluence row showing the live gate-pass count (e.g., "4/5 OK", "5/5 STRONG", "2/5 WEAK").
Non-Repainting Architecture
Signal detection runs only on confirmed bars ( shift >= 1 ). HTF SuperTrend uses the previous fully-closed HTF bar to prevent boundary repaint. Alert one-shot guards arm at the firstRun -> incremental transition so attaching the indicator to a chart does not trigger an avalanche of historical alerts -- only signals fired during the live session ring the popup, sound, email and push channels.
