Kumo Forge PRO MT5

Kumo Forge Pro is a non-repainting adaptive Ichimoku trading system for MetaTrader 5. It goes far beyond the standard Ichimoku indicator by adding an adaptive volatility engine that automatically scales Tenkan-Sen, Kijun-Sen, and Span B periods based on real-time market conditions, a 9-factor confluence scoring engine rated 0--110 points, five independent signal types (TK Cross, Kijun Bounce, Cloud Edge Bounce, Chikou Breakout, and Kumo Breakout), a Momentum Pulse Engine, a Smart TP/SL system with three stop-loss modes and three take-profit levels, and a comprehensive 22--28 row dashboard with multi-timeframe alignment panel. Every signal fires only on confirmed bar close and does not repaint.

How It Works

Adaptive Ichimoku Engine

The core engine measures ATR(14) against its high and low over a configurable lookback window (default: 50 bars) to produce a volatility ratio from 0.0 to 1.0. Each Ichimoku period --- Tenkan-Sen (9), Kijun-Sen (26), and Span B (52) --- is dynamically scaled based on this ratio and the Adapt Strength parameter (default: 0.4, meaning periods can stretch by +/-40%). In high-volatility conditions the periods contract for faster response; in quiet markets they expand to reduce noise. A Classic mode with fixed periods is available for traders who prefer the traditional Ichimoku approach.

9-Factor Confluence Scoring (0--110 Points)

Every signal is evaluated through nine scoring factors before appearing on the chart. Price vs Cloud position contributes up to 20 points. TK alignment adds up to 15 points. Chikou Span confirmation adds 15 points. Cloud direction, Kumo thickness, volume, momentum alignment, and momentum acceleration contribute a combined 50 points. An optional RSI(14) factor adds up to 10 points when enabled. The total possible score is 110. A configurable minimum score threshold (default: 40) filters out weak signals, and each signal is graded as Strong (80+), Standard (50--79), or Weak (below 50) with the score displayed directly on the signal label.

5 Signal Types

Kumo Forge Pro generates five independent signal types, each with dedicated buy and sell conditions:

  • TK Cross --- Tenkan-Sen / Kijun-Sen crossover, the primary Ichimoku signal
  • Kijun Bounce --- price bounces off Kijun-Sen as dynamic support (buy) or resistance (sell) in trending markets
  • Cloud Edge Bounce --- price touches the Kumo edge and bounces, confirming cloud as support or resistance
  • Chikou Breakout --- Chikou Span crosses past price, a delayed confirmation signal (disabled by default)
  • Kumo Breakout --- price breaks through the cloud with strong volume, with optional retest detection within 10 bars

Smart TP/SL System

When a signal fires, the indicator calculates stop-loss and three take-profit levels. Three SL modes are available: Kumo Edge (nearest cloud boundary plus an ATR buffer), Kijun (Kijun-Sen level plus ATR buffer), and ATR (fixed ATR multiple from entry). Take-profit levels are placed at configurable risk-reward ratios: TP1 at 1.5R (default), TP2 at 2.5R, and TP3 at 4.0R. The dashboard tracks which levels have been hit, displaying checkmarks and closing the trade zone when either SL or TP3 is reached.

Momentum Pulse Engine

A proprietary momentum measurement combining TK spread (Tenkan minus Kijun normalized by ATR), TK acceleration (3-bar rate of change), and cloud slope into a single -100 to +100 reading. The dashboard displays the momentum state as Accelerating, Bull Fading, Bear Accel, Bear Fading, Bullish, Bearish, or Neutral. Momentum alignment and acceleration are scored as part of the confluence engine.

Compatibility and Notes

  • Works on all symbols (forex, indices, commodities, crypto) and all timeframes
  • Non-repainting: all five signal types fire only on confirmed bar close and do not change retroactively
  • Volume filter auto-disables on instruments without volume data (e.g., some forex feeds)
  • Win rate tracking counts TP1 hits vs SL hits across the visible chart history
