Trading Strategy
ANE manages positions as a group. It opens additional trades to optimize the average entry price when conditions allow, then closes the entire basket once the combined profit target is reached.
This approach may experience periods of floating drawdown while the grid is active. Such behavior is normal and expected. Proper lot sizing and sufficient account capital are essential to handle temporary drawdowns.
Account Protection Features
- Max Drawdown Circuit Breaker — Stops all trading if the configured drawdown threshold is reached (default 80%).
- Spread Filter — Prevents new entries when the spread exceeds the maximum allowed value (default 70 points).
- Lot Size Limits — Configurable minimum and maximum lot sizes to prevent oversizing.
- Magic Number — Ensures clean position management when used with other EAs.

ANE employs a grid-based averaging strategy (Martingale-style). As a result, the total floating drawdown across open positions may be substantially higher compared to single-trade Expert Advisors. Never trade with capital you cannot afford to lose.
