KT BB Squeeze brings volatility state and momentum direction together in one focused oscillator. It compares Bollinger Bands with Keltner Channels, then shows whether the market is compressed or expanding while the histogram reveals how momentum is developing around the zero line.

Gray dots: Bollinger Bands are inside the Keltner Channels, marking a squeeze or contraction phase.

White dots: Bollinger Bands are outside the Keltner Channels, marking an expansion phase.

Read Four Momentum States Around Zero

The color-coded histogram separates direction from strength, helping you see whether bullish or bearish momentum is building or beginning to fade.

• Green bars: Bullish momentum is above zero and rising.
• Blue bars: Bullish momentum remains above zero but is fading.
• Red bars: Bearish momentum is below zero and strengthening.
• Salmon bars: Bearish momentum remains below zero but is fading.

Mark Expansion Signals and Follow Fading Momentum

When a white expansion dot appears after a squeeze and momentum is strengthening above or below zero, the indicator can draw a bullish or bearish vertical line on the price chart. Optional fading-momentum alerts can then bring a change in the active move back to your attention after a recorded signal.

The supplied Momentum Period, Bollinger Bands and Keltner Channels values provide a practical starting point for reading the oscillator. You can then adjust the momentum period, Bollinger period and deviation, Keltner period and multiplier, history depth, signal-line display, line colors and dot width to suit the chart view you want to study.
