BKT EdgeScope
A read-only analysis panel for MetaTrader 5 that separates your account results by Expert Advisor, strategy, symbol and magic number.
A step-by-step user guide with screenshots is available in the MQL5 blog.
BKT EdgeScope reads the trade history your terminal already holds and shows what each robot has contributed to the balance. It grades every row, explains the grade in plain words and keeps its arithmetic open for checking. It does not place, modify or close orders, it contains no trading strategy, and it uses no DLL and no web requests.
Overview
MetaTrader reports one balance for everything you run. When several Expert Advisors work on the same account, that single figure cannot tell you which of them earned the money and which gave it back. BKT EdgeScope rebuilds every closed position from your history, groups the positions by the robot that opened them and presents the result on one screen.
Positions are counted as positions, not as separate deals, so a trade closed in several parts is counted once. A strategy is identified by its magic number together with the comment on its opening deal, which keeps robots that share one magic number apart. A reconciliation line in the footer compares the rebuilt results with your account balance and shows any difference instead of hiding it.
The panel draws over a chart of its own and works on live and demo accounts. Symbol and timeframe of that chart do not matter.
Key Features
- Board with three levels: Expert Advisor, strategy and a detail panel. Each row shows closed positions, win rate, realised and open result, profit factor, expectancy, maximum drawdown, recovery factor and a small equity curve.
- Grades from Losing to Exceptional with a written verdict. Rows with too small a sample are shown as Unproven instead of being judged on a few trades.
- Marks beside the grade that point at one specific thing worth a look, such as risk that closed trades do not reveal or a strategy that has gone quiet.
- Three views (by EA, by symbol, by magic number), nine period tabs and a calendar for any custom range.
- Session lens for Asia, London and New York hours, and a 24-hour strip that groups results by the hour a position was opened.
- Tool boxes for magic numbers and lot sizes, correlation between rows, execution quality and prop-firm limits.
- Strategy Tester report import. Reports appear on the same board and are clearly marked as simulated.
- CSV exports, a screenshot button and a Share Card picture that contains no account number or broker name. English and Vietnamese interface.
How to Use It
Attach the panel to a chart of its own. Open the Toolbox, go to the History tab, right-click and choose All history, because the panel can only count what the terminal has loaded. Then check the reconciliation line in the footer.
Click a row to see the detail panel with the figures behind its grade, the drawdown from several sources, monthly results and a grade history strip. Tick rows to hide or group them. Hiding a row removes it from the totals, which answers the question of what the account would look like without that robot.
The full guide, with a screenshot of every screen, is in the MQL5 blog.
Drawdown and Estimates
MetaTrader stores trades but not what the account was worth between them. The panel therefore shows drawdown from several sources side by side: measured while the panel was running, estimated from price bars for the time it was not, modelled from reshuffled trades, and taken from closed trades only. Estimates are always labelled as estimates. Slippage is valued at current tick values and is indicative only.

Notes
Results depend on the history the terminal holds, so please load All history first. A position is booked when it closes, so a trade opened in one month and closed in the next counts in the second. Run one copy of the panel per account, because two copies overwrite each other's saved layout. Questions and suggestions are welcome in the comments section of this page.
The panel describes what happened in the past. It is not a forecast, and a strong grade does not mean future results will follow.
