VaultEdge FVG
A structure-driven Fair Value Gap indicator for MetaTrader 5 that scores every retest opportunity with a multi-factor engine and confirms entries on closed bars — so you know exactly what to trade and why.
Most FVG traders face this moment: price returns to the gap, and the decision is still not clear. VaultEdge FVG was built for exactly that. It confirms the structural break, finds the gap most likely to hold, grades it across seven criteria, and fires only when a qualifying candle close confirms the retest. Entry, stop, and three take-profit targets are drawn on the chart. The decision is yours — the analysis is already done.
Overview
The engine runs in two phases. In the first, it tracks pivot highs and lows and waits for a structural break with conviction — a BOS continuation or a CHoCH reversal. The moment a break is confirmed, the engine scans the break sequence for Fair Value Gaps formed during the displacement. Each candidate is scored across seven dimensions: proximity to the break level, size relative to ATR, displacement strength, volume at formation, location within the dealing range, freshness, and prior touch count.
In the second phase, the highest-scoring gap is armed. The engine monitors each closed bar for a valid retest — a return with directional intent. Four retest models range from a permissive wick touch to a strict reclaim requiring the close to cross the gap edge with a momentum candle. When all conditions align, the full trade simulation appears: entry at the close, stop beyond the gap with an ATR buffer, and three take-profit targets at risk multiples you define. After TP1 is reached, the stop moves to entry automatically.
Key Features
- Six engine profiles: Original Sync, Balanced Flow, Precision Flow, Fast Flow, Position Flow, and Custom Lab. Each profile pre-tunes the full parameter set — structure window, gap filters, retest strictness, and confluence thresholds — for a distinct trading style. Switch styles in a single click, or dial every setting manually through Custom Lab.
- Multi-factor gap scoring and A+/A/B grading: Every FVG is evaluated across seven criteria and graded A+, A, or B. A minimum grade filter keeps the signal list clean — only setups that earn their place reach the chart. Lower-quality gaps are tracked silently and discarded without generating noise.
- Four retest confirmation models: Any Wick, Real Body, Close Inside, and Directional Rejection Reclaim. Stricter models are designed for traders who want commitment before entering — the candle must not only reach the zone but close with directional conviction, leaving a clear rejection wick behind.
- Three-layer confluence gate: Volume participation, DI/ADX directional strength, and Higher Timeframe bias are each checked independently before a signal fires. Any layer can be disabled for instruments where it adds noise rather than signal. When a setup stalls, the Blocker Lens tells you exactly which gate it failed.
- Canvas trade overlay: A dedicated canvas layer renders gradient TP/SL zones, level lines, and labeled price pills pinned to the chart's right edge. The visual updates in real time as each target is reached, and the stop pill shifts to entry the moment breakeven triggers.
- Blocker Lens dashboard: A compact panel shows market bias, engine state, and the exact reason a setup is on hold — retest delay, volume block, DI block, HTF block, or grade filter. Each state is labeled clearly so you understand the pipeline at a glance, without opening the parameters window.
- Four-tier alert package: Qualified, Premium, Full, and Webhook JSON. Every meaningful event — zone arming, entry, each TP level, breakeven activation, and stop-loss — can trigger a terminal popup, push notification, or structured JSON payload.
Recommended Use
VaultEdge FVG performs well on major forex pairs, spot gold, and major crypto pairs. M15 through H4 suits intraday setups; H1 through D1 suits swing configurations. Precision Flow is the choice for traders who want fewer, higher-conviction signals. Fast Flow lowers thresholds for shorter timeframes. Position Flow is built for wider-range instruments — gold or indices on higher timeframes — where structure moves are large and retests take longer to develop.
Parameters
- Engine Style — Active profile that pre-configures all core parameters — Default: Original Sync
- Allow Bullish / Bearish Setups — Enable or disable each direction independently — Default: both enabled
- Structure Sensitivity — Pivot confirmation window in bars — Default: 8
- Reaction Model — Candle behavior required to confirm a retest — Default: Directional Recovery
- Minimum Setup Grade — Lowest accepted grade for signal confirmation — Default: B
- Stop Placement Model — Gap edge with ATR buffer, or fixed ATR distance from entry — Default: Gap Edge
- TP1 / TP2 / TP3 Risk Multiple — Take-profit levels as multiples of initial risk — Defaults: 1.0 / 2.0 / 3.0
- Move Stop to Entry After TP1 — Activates breakeven after the first target — Default: true
VaultEdge FVG simulates trade levels for visual reference only. It does not place, modify, or close any real orders. All execution and risk management decisions remain with the trader. Signal behavior observed on historical data does not guarantee equivalent performance under live market conditions.
