My Volume Profile Scalper (MVPS)
Grid EA. First ticket comes from Volume Profile (or you force the side). The rest is distance + multiplier — same math every cycle.
Not a holy grail. Not “AI.” It opens, it grids, it manages the basket. If you don’t understand martingale, don’t attach it. or use multiplier lot size to 1 for fixed size.
By Default the Stoploss is 100, mean $100 is stop loss, change to 0 and let trailing DD works or change to your risk profile
What it actually does
- First entry: Volume Profile on M1–D1, or Buy Only / Sell Only / Buy & Sell.
- Next entries: grid from last price × GridMulti. Lot follows last losing ticket × MartMulti.
- Close: basket rules you set — money TP/SL, trailing DD, trailing SL above BEP. No mystery close.
- One magic per chart. Another MVPS on the same symbol with another magic is a different machine. Guardian ON = magic 0 on that symbol is treated as part of this cycle.
Why it exists
MT4 version did the job. This is the same policy on MT5: hedging or netting, 2-digit or 3-digit gold, BTC, silver, FX — point and stops-level are read from the symbol, not hardcoded for one broker.
Restart the terminal mid-cycle. It reads open tickets and continues the grid. It does not invent a new first lot because the platform blinked.
Controls on the chart
Buy / Sell / pending, close by magic or by symbol (with confirm), SL to BE / +steps, trail DD and trail SL pause–resume, Rest & Realize, Auto Continue, Reverse next cycle.
- Rest: finish the open cycle. No new seed until you press a chart button or a phone/manual ticket appears (Guardian ON).
- Auto Continue: All Indicators, no print this bar → last direction.
- Reverse: next flat cycle flips last side.
- Rest sits above both. If Rest is on, Continue and Reverse do not sneak a new cycle.
Dashboard: balance vs account equity vs pairEq (this symbol + this magic). P/L and BEP per side, next price, next lot, trail state in one block. Sent: tells you who started the cycle — VP-H4, BuyOnly, phone manual, AutoReverse-Sell, and the rest of the list.
Risk modules (off until you turn them on)
- Trailing DD on pairEq, not “whatever else is floating on the account.” Other symbols’ floating is ignored. Shared: margin and broker stop-out. Width $0.01 means the lock hugs equity — that’s your input, not a feature.
- Trailing SL only if that side is green and SL stays beyond basket BEP.
- Lock-distance / wait-new-candle: optional. Default off = original distance trigger.
What it will not do
- It will not save a 0.01 account on XAU with 20 grids.
- It will not isolate two EAs that share one balance when one of them books a realized win — pairEq uses account balance + this basket’s float.
- It will not refuse a stop-out. The broker does not read pairEq.
Setup that isn’t stupid
- One chart, one symbol, one magic.
- MinGrid / multiplier you already trust on that symbol — don’t paste gold numbers onto BTC.
- Trail DD width in money you can see on the dashboard, or leave DD off.
- Guardian ON only if you want phone tickets inside this EA.
- Demo the restart: open 3 grids, kill the terminal, come back. Next price and lot should still match the tickets.
Requirements
Hedging or netting account. Algo Trading on. For Telegram: WebRequest allowed to your API host, POST, token + chat id correct. Missing bitmap resources do not stop trading.
Use it as a tool. Size the first lot for the hole you are willing to sit in. If that sentence is uncomfortable, this product is not for you.
