Why you need it
You trade on M5 or M15, but the daily candle sets the frame for the day. To see where it opened, how far it has stretched and how long it has left, you switch to another chart or open a second window. Each switch takes your eyes off the level you are watching. You can end up on the wrong side of the daily open simply because it was not in front of you.
What you get

- The forming candle and up to nine previous candles sit beside price, so you read the daily context at a glance.
- A countdown above the candle shows the time left before it closes, so you know when the candle becomes final.
- The open line runs across your chart, so you see at once whether price trades above or below the open.
- Open, high, low and close of the forming candle carry their price values, so you read exact levels without measuring.
- The projection fits inside the right edge of the chart at any zoom, so it never leaves the screen.
- An optional alert tells you when the previous higher timeframe high or low is swept, so you do not have to watch the chart.
How it works
The indicator groups your chart bars into higher timeframe candles and tracks the open, high, low and close of each one. Candles that have closed are fixed and are not redrawn. The forming candle follows price until it closes. Candle boundaries follow your broker server time, so the daily candle opens at server midnight. The countdown reads the server clock, so it keeps running between ticks. The calculation covers only the candles you display, so it stays fast on long histories, uses price only and gives no buy or sell signals.
How to use it
- Attach the indicator to any chart.
- Choose the higher timeframe in the inputs. The default is D1. Your chart timeframe must be lower than it, for example M15 with D1.
- Read the candle against the open line: note whether price trades above or below the open before you apply your own entry rules.
- Set the number of candles to see previous candles beside the forming one.
- Switch on the sweep alert in the Alerts group to be notified when the previous high or low is swept.

Attach it to your own symbol and timeframe, let a bar close and check that the closed candles keep the same open, high, low and close.
