▬▬▬ THE PROBLEM ▬▬▬
Raw range tells you little. A 40-pip candle on Gold is quiet; on EURUSD it is a storm. Fixed ATR thresholds you set by hand drift out of date the moment the market changes, and a number
in a corner never shows you when today's move is genuinely big for this market — or just noise. So you size the same in calm and in chaos, and the market punishes the difference.
▬▬▬ HOW IT WORKS ▬▬▬
Each candle's true range is measured against a fast plus slow ATR baseline, then ranked against its own recent history using a rolling percentile. The reading is placed into one of three volatility zones and drawn as a colored bar in the subwindow:
Grey — Low: contraction, the market is resting. Gold — Medium: normal activity. Green — High: expansion, the move is large for this market right now.
Because the zones come from each candle's own percentile rank, the tool self-calibrates to any symbol and timeframe. No hand-set levels, no numbers to interpret.

Three volatility zones from a rolling percentile, so calm and chaos are obvious at a glance. Range normalized by a dual-ATR baseline — comparable across every market. Two display modes: color-only bands, or variable-height bars that also show how big the move is. Zone-change alerts: popup, sound, and push notification. No repaint — signals are final on bar close. Self-calibrating: works on any pair, index, metal, crypto, or stock, on any timeframe.

▬▬▬ HOW TO USE IT ▬▬▬
- Attach it to any chart; it appears in a subwindow with no setup.
- Read the color: grey is quiet, gold is normal, green is expansion.
- In green zones, expect wider stops and faster moves — size down.
- In grey zones, expect tight ranges — breakouts often start from here.
- Turn on zone-change alerts to be told the moment a market shifts regime.
