Fractal Strategy Pro NR MTF – User Guide
1. What is this indicator?
Fractal Strategy Pro NR MTF is an advanced MT4 indicator designed with trend analysis, fractal logic, MTF dashboard, auto Fibonacci, and repaint/non-repaint switching functions.
The indicator can display:
- BUY/SELL signals
- M30 / H1 / H4 marker lines
- Trendlines
- Auto Swing Fibonacci levels
- Multi-timeframe trend direction
2. How to install
- Open MetaTrader 4.
- Go to File → Open Data Folder.
- Open the folder:
MQL4 → Indicators - Copy the indicator file ( Fractal_Strategy.ex4) into this folder.
- Restart MT4 or refresh the Navigator window.
- Drag the indicator from:
Navigator → Indicators
onto the chart.
3. Basic Usage
The indicator shows:
- Green/Blue signals for BUY opportunities
- Red signals for SELL opportunities
BUY Signal
A BUY signal appears when price approaches a lower support/fractal zone.
SELL Signal
A SELL signal appears when price approaches an upper resistance/fractal zone.
4. Non-Repaint & Repaint Buttons
Two modes are available directly on the chart:
NON-REPAINT ON
Signals are confirmed later but are more stable and safer for live trading.
REPAINT ON
Signals appear earlier but may change during live market movement. Recommended mainly for analysis and testing.
5. MTF Dashboard
The dashboard displays market direction on:
- M1
- M5
- M15
- M30
- H1
- H4
- D1
Dashboard Colors
- Green = BUY trend
- Red = SELL trend
- Gray = Neutral / no clear direction
When strong M30, H1, or H4 signals appear, the indicator automatically draws:
- Vertical lines
- Horizontal lines
- Timeframe labels on the top of the chart
Green lines = BUY
Red lines = SELL
6. Input Settings Explanation
HalfLength
Controls the main channel sensitivity.
- Higher value = fewer signals
- Lower value = more signals
BandsDeviations
Controls channel width.
Higher values reduce signal frequency.
NonRepaintMode
Sets the default repaint/non-repaint mode.
StrongSignalsOnly
If enabled, only stronger filtered signals will appear.
UseTopBottomChecker
Checks for market tops and bottoms before generating signals.
TopBottomLookback
Number of candles used for top/bottom analysis.
UseBandOutsideFilter
Requires signals to appear outside the bands for confirmation.
UseHigherTFConfirmation
Uses a higher timeframe for additional confirmation.
ConfirmationTF
Selects which higher timeframe is used for confirmation.
ShowDashboard
Enables or disables the MTF dashboard.
ShowHTFSignalMarkers
Shows M30/H1/H4 signal marker lines.
MarkM30Signals / MarkH1Signals / MarkH4Signals
Enable or disable specific timeframe markers.
ShowTrendLines
Displays trendlines on the chart.
ShowTrendInfo
Displays trend information panel.
ShowAutoSwingFib
Enables automatic Fibonacci drawing.
SwingFibLookback
Controls how many candles are analyzed for Fibonacci swings.
7. Recommended Usage
Best Timeframes
- Scalping: M5, M15
- Intraday: M30
- Safer trading: H1, H4
Recommended Setup
For better signal quality:
- StrongSignalsOnly = true
- UseHigherTFConfirmation = true
Suggested Trading Workflow
- Check M30, H1, and H4 dashboard direction.
- Wait for signals aligned with the higher timeframe trend.
- Use top/bottom zones as confirmation.
- Use trendlines and Fibonacci levels for additional confirmation.
- Place Stop Loss behind the latest swing high/low.
8. Important Notice
