What is M-MAX Gold?
M-MAX Gold is a 100% automated Expert Advisor developed by OswalTrading, a software engineering studio specialized in financial markets. Designed exclusively for trading XAUUSD on M15, it uses a rigorous trend logic based on ADX, dynamic risk management with ATR, and other indicators.
We are not a trading academy or a signal channel. We are engineers building software to professional standards.
Strategy
M-MAX operates following established trends with precise confirmation logic:
- ADX (minimum 45) to confirm a real trend exists — the system does not trade in sideways markets
- Dynamic SL based on ATR to adapt to Gold's real volatility at all times
- TP of 5× the SL value for a minimum Reward/Risk ratio of 1:5
- Restricted hours to the highest liquidity windows: 08:00–12:00 and 16:00–20:00
- Active days: Monday, Tuesday, and Friday
Risk Management
- Dynamic SL based on ATR (3× ATR of 14 periods) — protection adapted to volatility
- TP multiplier: 5× the SL → Minimum Reward/Risk ratio of 1:5
- No Martingale — each trade is completely independent
- No Grid — does not accumulate positions to compensate for losses
- Maximum drawdown over 4 years: 12.61% of balance
Note on Win Rate: M-MAX Gold has a Win Rate of 34%. This is the correct logic of a trend-following system: the system wins 2.92 times more than it loses per trade ($2,687 average gain vs. $918 average loss). A single winning trade offsets nearly 3 losses. This asymmetry is exactly what professional risk management systems use.
