I tried it on the 1m & 5m charts and like many indicators, this Hiken Ashi is excellent when there is volume in the market. But in accumulation periods or when the volume drops it is lagging and therefore does not do as well. By the time you get in price is reversing on you. So I would take entries only on a pullback. So you if get a buy signal, set a pending limit to buy order halfway down the signal candle. Just some thoughts from my experience watching and trading it.

This indicator is really well made, it takes Heikin Ashi candles to their maximum and the derived signals are also excellent. Heikin Ashi candles are one of the most effective, clean, and fast methods for all situations where it's necessary to remove background noise and have a clear view of the trend, like on XAUUSD. Applied to any pair on any timeframe, it will transform incomprehensible chaotic noise into a clear sine wave of trends. Truly excellent, this indicator should not be missing from anyone's toolkit.
