Renko Heatmap Pro – ATR Renko Trend, Reversal and Trade Levels
Renko Heatmap Pro is a MetaTrader 5 (MT5) Renko-style trend and volatility analysis indicator that uses Average True Range (ATR)-based calculations to visualise directional price movement, potential trend reversals, and changing market conditions on a conventional price chart. Designed for traders who want Renko-inspired analysis without relying solely on a separate offline Renko chart, the indicator presents calculated directional states through visual elements such as colour-coded candles, trend zones, reference lines, and configurable signal markers. Its ATR-based framework helps relate the indicator's movement and reference levels to recent market volatility, while optional entry, stop-loss, take-profit, trailing-stop reference, and support/resistance visuals can help traders organise their chart analysis around potential trading scenarios. Renko Heatmap Pro can be used to study trend continuation, directional changes, momentum transitions, and possible entry areas across forex, gold (XAUUSD), indices, and other CFDs, depending on the instrument, timeframe, and settings selected. For traders searching for a Renko indicator for MT5, ATR Renko trend indicator, trend reversal heatmap, volatility-based trading indicator, or chart-based trade-level visualisation tool, Renko Heatmap Pro provides a configurable way to interpret price movement and trend structure. Its calculated signals and plotted levels are analytical references; any trailing-stop or trade-level visuals do not themselves execute or manage orders.

ATR-Based Renko Trend Visualization
The indicator uses the Average True Range (ATR) to determine the Renko box size. The default ATR period is 10, allowing the box calculation to respond to the volatility measured over the selected period.
The indicator plots upper and lower Renko-style lines and a midpoint reference. These elements help visualize the current directional structure and provide context for potential changes in the trend.
The Renko-style display is calculated on the chart; this indicator does not require a separate offline Renko chart.
Trend Heatmap and Color Gradients
Renko Heatmap Pro provides customizable bullish and bearish color gradients. The gradient depth setting controls the number of steps used in the visual streak, helping distinguish different sections of a directional move.
Optional heatmap candles can color the price chart according to the indicator's trend state. You can also display bullish and bearish Renko zones to make directional areas easier to identify.
These visual elements are intended to improve chart readability rather than predict the next price movement.
Buy, Sell and Reversal Signals
The indicator can mark potential Buy and Sell signals and display a separate reversal-close marker.
Use these markers to review potential changes in directional structure. A reversal signal can fail, and the indicator's reference levels should be evaluated alongside price action and market conditions.
Trailing Stop and Trade-Level Visualization
Renko Heatmap Pro includes a trailing-stop line and optional entry, stop-loss and take-profit levels.
The default configuration uses a 1.5 ATR stop-loss multiplier and a 3 ATR take-profit multiplier. These settings can be adjusted to suit the volatility and behavior of the instrument being analyzed.
The indicator can also show support and resistance levels, with controls for the maximum number of levels and their visual fading.
These features provide visual references only. They do not place orders, move broker-side stop-loss orders or manage open positions.
Structure and Chart Controls
Additional features include:
-
Renko leg box-count labels.
-
Optional bullish and bearish zone boxes.
-
Configurable support and resistance display.
-
Adjustable gradient depth.
-
Customizable signal and zone colors.
-
Optional candle heatmap and trailing-stop line.
-
Optional entry, stop-loss and take-profit levels.
Suggested Use
Use the Renko-style structure and heatmap to review directional moves and potential reversals. Check the trailing-stop line and reference trade levels as part of your analysis, and compare potential setups with nearby support and resistance.
Because the box size is ATR-based, changing the ATR period can alter the visual structure and the signals generated. Evaluate the indicator on the symbol and timeframe you intend to trade.
Important Information
Renko Heatmap Pro is an analytical indicator, not an automated trading robot. Its trailing-stop line is a chart visualization, not a live broker-managed trailing stop. Signals and levels do not guarantee execution prices or trading outcomes. Test the settings carefully and account for spread, slippage and other trading costs.
