Kiwi Prop Firm Risk Manager MT4 is an account monitoring and risk-control Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 4.

It is designed for traders who want to monitor account drawdown and automatically apply protective actions when predefined risk levels are reached.

The tool can be used alongside manual trading, other Expert Advisors, and third-party trading systems. It does not provide trading signals and does not open trades as part of a trading strategy.

Account-Level Risk Monitoring

The dashboard displays important account information including:

  • Time remaining until the configured prop trading day reset

This allows traders to monitor important account-risk information directly from a MetaTrader 4 chart.

Protection Stages

Kiwi Prop Firm Risk Manager MT4 uses configurable protection stages.

Warning

Provides an early indication that account risk is approaching the configured limit.

Danger

Activates additional protective actions according to the selected settings.

Emergency

Executes the configured emergency protection when the account reaches the specified risk level.

The Warning, Danger and Emergency thresholds can be adjusted in the EA settings.

Emergency Close All

The dashboard includes a manual Emergency Close All function.

When manually activated, it is designed to:

  • Close open market trades

  • Include manually opened trades

  • Include trades opened by other Expert Advisors

  • Include trades opened by third-party trading systems

  • Delete pending orders

The optional Close Other Charts function can also be used to close other MetaTrader charts.

This provides an additional account-level intervention option when immediate risk reduction is required.

The Risk Manager monitors account conditions independently of the strategy responsible for opening the trades.

Daily and Overall Drawdown

Separate controls are provided for Daily Loss and Overall Loss.

The trader can configure firm limits as well as optional personal risk limits.

Safety buffers can also be used so the Risk Manager can react before the specified maximum loss level is reached.

Different drawdown baseline methods are available to accommodate different account-management requirements.

Additional Risk Conditions

Additional protection conditions can include:

  • Floating loss

  • Equity floor

  • Margin level

  • Maximum number of open trades

  • Maximum total lots

These conditions can be enabled or disabled according to the trader's requirements.

Protective Actions

Available protective actions include:

  • Close market trades

  • Delete pending orders

  • Close other charts

  • Display alerts

Actions can be configured according to the required level of protection.

Prop Trading Day Reset

A configurable UTC offset is provided for the daily reset calculation.

This allows the daily monitoring period to be adjusted according to the required trading-day schedule.

Traders should configure this setting according to the rules and reset time applicable to their account or proprietary trading program.

It does not predict market direction, provide entry signals, or guarantee that an account will satisfy the requirements of any particular proprietary trading firm.

Rules, drawdown calculations, profit targets and reset times can differ between firms and account programs. Users should verify the applicable rules and configure the Risk Manager accordingly.

Network latency, broker execution conditions, slippage, market gaps, platform interruptions and unavailable liquidity can affect the execution of protective actions.

No risk-management software can guarantee that positions will always be closed at an exact equity or drawdown level.
