# MiniBull Guard v1.30
## Never trade without a stop again.
**You open the trade. MiniBull Guard sets the stop, shows the risk and keeps your head clear.**
- **No more naked positions.** Every new trade gets a stop loss within moments, even when you forget, hesitate or trade from your phone.
- **A stop the market can breathe around.** Sized from real volatility (ATR) by default, or from a distance you choose.
- **Know your loss before it happens.** In money and in percent of your equity, not in points.
- **See margin call coming.** The price where it happens and how far away it is, from your broker's own thresholds.
- **Catch your worst habits in the act.** Moving a stop, revenge trading, sizing up after a loss, overtrading: the panel says it out loud.
- **Stay level.** A short line every 10 seconds, chosen for the moment: patience when flat, restraint in profit, perspective after a loss.
- **Zero arithmetic, zero setup.** Attach it to a chart and trade as you always do.
- **You stay in charge.** It never opens, closes or blocks a trade.
---
## What MiniBull Guard is
MiniBull Guard is a risk-control utility for manual traders. It is not a trading robot and it does not generate signals.
You trade the way you always do: by hand, from the chart, from One Click Trading or from the mobile app. The moment a new position appears on the account, MiniBull Guard places a stop loss on it and explains, in full sentences and in your language, what it did and what the trade means for your account.
It is made for discretionary traders who:
- sometimes open a trade and "add the stop later",
- want a stop based on volatility instead of a round guess,
- hold several positions and lose track of total risk and margin,
- know their weak moments (after a loss, after a win, before news) and want a calm voice at exactly those moments.
---
## How it works, step by step
1. You attach MiniBull Guard to any chart and enable Algo Trading.
2. It scans the account. Positions that are already open are shown, but **never modified**.
3. You open a new position, anywhere: this chart, another chart, the phone.
4. Within moments the EA calculates the stop loss and sends it to the broker.
5. The panel tells you where the stop is, why it is there, what you lose if it is hit, where margin call would be and what the position costs or earns per night.
6. From then on the panel updates with every price change and watches your behaviour.
---
## The stop loss
### Three ways to use it
| You want | What to do |
|---|---|
| The built-in rule | Nothing. Default is 2 x the daily Wilder ATR (period 14). |
| Your own ATR rule | Keep the rule on "ATR" and change timeframe, period or multiplier, for example H4, 14, 1.5. |
| Your own fixed distance | Set the rule to "Fixed distance" and enter the distance, for all symbols or per symbol. |
### The ATR rule (default)
- **Wilder ATR, calculated inside the EA.** The standard MT5 ATR indicator uses a simple average; MiniBull Guard uses Wilder's smoothing, the classic definition.
- **Closed bars only.** The bar that is still forming is ignored, so the distance does not change during the day.
- **Wicks count.** True range uses each bar's high, low and the previous close, so long shadows and overnight gaps are included.
- **Distance = ATR x multiplier,** measured from your entry price.
### The fixed distance rule
- Enter one distance for all symbols, or a list per symbol, for example `NAS100=250;BRENT=1.5`.
- The distance is in **price units**: 250 on an index at 31,000 means a stop 250.00 away.
- A symbol in the list uses its own value. Other symbols use the general value.
- If no distance is set for a symbol, the EA falls back to the ATR rule, so no new position is left without a stop.
- The same number means very different things on different symbols. If you trade more than one, use the per-symbol list.
### Refinements applied to both rules
- **Spread buffer.** A SELL stop is triggered by the Ask price, which sits one spread above the chart price. The EA adds the larger of the current spread and the recent average spread to SELL stops. It can be extended to BUY, multiplied or switched off.
- **Round level avoidance.** Stops cluster at round numbers. If your stop lands next to one, it is moved just beyond it, always further from price, never closer. The round step is detected from the price and can be set per symbol.
- **Broker rules.** The stop is rounded to the symbol's tick size and kept outside the broker's minimum stop distance.
### What the EA does not do with stops
- It does not trail, widen, tighten or remove a stop after placing it.
- It does not touch positions that were open before it started.
- It does not touch positions you opened with your own stop loss. The panel simply reports: "You set your own SL. I did not change it."
- It does not replace a stop that you delete.
- Changing the rule in the inputs affects new positions only.
Every calculation is written to the Experts log, so you can check afterwards how a stop was derived.

## The panel
The panel sits in the top-left corner, under the One Click Trading buttons. It writes sentences, not just numbers:
```
You opened a BUY on NAS100, 0.1 lot at 31,191.00.
I placed your SL at 30,385.00. That is 2 x the D1 ATR (400).
I moved it just beyond the round level 30,400.00.
If it hits, you lose about $1,612, which is 2.0% of your equity.
Right now you are $442 up. Your SL is 1,025.8 away.
Your margin level is 893%. Margin call is out of reach from NAS100 alone.
This position pays about $10.14 swap every night.
```
With a fixed distance the second line becomes:
```
I placed your SL at 30,941.00. That is your fixed distance of 250.
```
### What you see, top to bottom
1. **Title and tone:** version, current tone (Calm, Warning, Danger) and language. Click the title to collapse the panel to three lines.
2. **Alerts:** up to three, the most serious first.
3. **The position in detail:** the latest position on the chart symbol. If the chart symbol has none, the latest position on the account.
4. **Other positions:** one line per symbol and direction, with lot, number of positions, floating profit or loss and stop status.
5. **Account figures:** equity, open profit, positions in profit and in loss, margin used, margin level, margin call and stop out thresholds, total open risk, daily limit, next high-impact news.
6. **Focus line:** a short sentence that changes every 10 seconds.
Colours adapt to light and dark chart backgrounds.
---
## Margin call levels
- The EA reads the **margin call and stop out thresholds from your broker**, in percent or in money, whichever your account uses.
- It works from **equity**, the figure your broker uses, so floating profit and loss are included.
- For the symbol in focus it shows the price at which you would reach margin call and the distance to it, assuming nothing else moves.
- Hedged positions are recognised: if your net volume on a symbol is zero, its price barely moves your margin, and the panel says so.
- If a level is unrealistically far away (more than a quarter of the price), the panel says the symbol cannot bring you to margin call on its own instead of showing a meaningless number.
- If **another symbol** is closer to margin call, the panel names it, with price and distance.
- If you would reach margin call **before** your stops are hit, the panel warns you in red.
---
## Risk in money
- **Per position:** loss if the stop is hit, in account currency and as a percentage of equity. If the stop is already in profit, the panel shows what you keep.
- **Total open risk:** the sum over all positions with a stop.
- **Positions without a stop** are counted separately and the total is marked **no limit**, in red. A risk figure that silently ignores unprotected positions would be misleading.
- **Floating result:** per position, per symbol group and split into positions in profit and positions in loss.
- **Swap per night:** read from the broker's swap settings and converted to account currency, with a note on triple swap nights.
---
## Warnings and tone
The panel has three tones. The tone is chosen automatically from the most serious active alert.
| Tone | Meaning | On screen |
|---|---|---|
| Calm | Nothing needs your attention | Green label, rotating focus line |
| Warning | Something deserves a second look | Amber label and alert |
| Danger | Act on this first | Red label and alert, rotation stops, optional sound and push |
### What triggers a warning
| Situation | Default threshold | Tone |
|---|---|---|
| Margin level low | below 300% | Warning |
| Margin level critical | below 150%, or within 25% of the broker's margin call level | Danger |
| Margin call would come before your stops | any time | Danger |
| Daily limit close | one stop away, or 75% of the loss limit | Warning |
| Daily limit reached | 2 stops, or 4% of start-of-day equity | Danger |
| You moved an EA stop further away | any time | Danger |
| You removed an EA stop | any time | Danger |
| New trade shortly after a stop loss | within 15 minutes | Danger |
| Bigger lot on the same symbol right after a loss | any increase | Danger |
| Too many trades | 3 within 60 minutes | Warning |
| One trade risks too much | above 3% of equity | Warning |
| High-impact news approaching | 30 minutes before, 15 after | Warning |
All thresholds are inputs. The tone can also be fixed to "always calm" or "always stern".
**These are warnings only.** MiniBull Guard never blocks an order and never closes a position. The decision is always yours.
### The daily limit
- Counts stop losses hit today and today's loss as a percentage of start-of-day equity.
- **Open losses are included,** so holding a losing position does not hide the loss.
- Deposits and withdrawals are excluded.
- Resets at midnight, broker server time.
### News
- Uses the economic calendar built into MT5. No external website and no WebRequest permission needed.
- High-impact events only, for the currencies of the chart symbol, of your open positions and any extra currencies you list.
---
## Focus lines
At the bottom of the panel a short line changes every 10 seconds. There are 60 lines per language in five groups, and the group is chosen from your situation:
| Situation | Theme | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Positions open, nothing unusual | Discipline | "Your stop loss is a decision you already made. Leave it alone." |
| Clearly in profit | Against greed | "A good trade doesn't need a bigger lot." |
| In loss or after a stop | Against despair and revenge | "A stopped trade means the system worked." |
| No positions | Patience | "No setup, no trade." |
| A warning is active | Safety | "Check your risk before you check your profit." |
In Danger the rotation stops and one line stays: "Fix this first. Everything else can wait."
---
## Several charts
Attach MiniBull Guard to as many charts as you like. No settings are needed.
- One instance manages the stops. The others only display the panel.
- If the managing chart is closed, another instance takes over within seconds.
- Every panel shows the same account figures and the same warnings, so you see a margin warning on NAS100 while looking at Brent.
- Each panel describes the position of its own chart symbol in detail and summarises the rest.
- Sound and push notifications come from one instance only.
- Stop loss details are stored in the terminal, so they survive a restart and look the same on every chart.
---
## Languages
The whole panel, every warning and every focus line is available in 10 languages:
English, Türkçe, Deutsch, Français, Italiano, Español, فارسی, العربية, 日本語, 简体中文
- The terminal language is detected automatically and can be overridden in the inputs.
- Persian and Arabic use a mirrored, right-to-left panel.
- Japanese and Chinese use a suitable system font and wrap lines between characters.
- Numbers, prices and symbol names look the same in every language.
- BUY, SELL, SL and ATR are kept as trading terms and are not translated.

## Getting started
1. Attach MiniBull Guard to any chart.
2. Enable **Algo Trading** in the terminal.
3. Trade as usual. New positions receive a stop loss automatically.
4. Read the panel. If the tone turns to Warning or Danger, read the first line before doing anything else.
### Trading from your phone
The EA runs in the desktop terminal, not in the mobile app. A position opened on the phone reaches the broker's server, the desktop terminal sees it, the EA places the stop, and the stop appears on the phone. For this the desktop terminal, or a VPS, must be running with Algo Trading enabled. Push notifications bring Danger alerts to the phone.
---
## Questions and answers
**Does it open or close trades?**
No. It only sets the stop loss of positions you open.
**What happens to trades I already have?**
Nothing. They are shown in the panel and included in margin and risk, but never modified.
**I opened a trade with my own stop. What now?**
Your stop stays. The panel reports its risk like any other.
**Can I move the stop the EA placed?**
Yes. Moving it closer is accepted silently. Moving it further away or removing it triggers a Danger alert, but the EA does not move it back.
**Will it block me when the daily limit is reached?**
No. It tells you clearly and leaves the decision to you.
**Can I run it on several charts?**
Yes, without any settings. The instances coordinate automatically.
**What if the terminal was closed when I opened a trade?**
That position counts as existing and is not modified. The panel shows that it has no stop.
**Does the fill policy of my order matter?**
No. The EA only modifies the stop loss, which has no fill policy.
---
## Good to know
- **The stop is placed right after the position opens**, not together with it. For a very short moment the position has no stop.
- **Loss figures are estimates.** Gaps and slippage can make the real loss larger than the calculated one.
- **Margin call prices are estimates.** They assume that only the named symbol moves. Wider spreads, swaps and margin changes by the broker shift them.
- **Margin changes announced in advance** by the broker (weekends, news) are only visible once they are applied on the server.
- **Daily loss** is measured against start-of-day equity. If the EA is attached during the day, that value is reconstructed from the daily open price and may differ slightly.
- **Swap in money** is exact when the broker defines swap in points or in currency, and approximate for interest-based swap modes.
- **News warnings** need the live terminal. They are not available in the Strategy Tester, and calendar times can change.
- The EA only works while the terminal is running, connected and Algo Trading is enabled.
- Developed and tested on a hedging account.
- The translations were written with care, but tone differs between languages. If a sentence reads oddly in your language, please report it.
---

## Risk notice
MiniBull Guard is a risk-control and information tool. It does not generate trading signals, it does not guarantee that a stop loss is executed at its price, and it cannot prevent losses. Trading leveraged products involves a high risk of losing money. Test the EA on a demo account before using it on a live account.
