Trading Discipline Trend Dashboard reads this account's own closed deal history and reports four measured patterns for this week against last week, plus a day-by-day row. It does not predict and it does not advise. Every figure already happened on this account.
SETUP
1. Drag the indicator onto any chart. The symbol and timeframe do not matter - it reads the whole account, not the chart.
2. One panel appears in the top-left corner and fills in from the first tick.
3. All three alerts are off by default. Turn one on only if you want it.
4. Nothing else is required. There are no numeric settings to tune.
INPUTS (seven, in this order)
- InpShowPanel (true) - show or hide the panel.
- InpPanelCorner (top-left) - which of the four chart corners the panel sits in.
- InpPanelFontSize (9) - panel text size. Display only.
- InpColorText (white) - panel text colour.
- InpAlertScreen (false) - screen alert.
- InpAlertPush (false) - push notification to the mobile terminal.
- InpAlertEmail (false) - email notification.
There is no numeric threshold anywhere. The 10-minute window, the 30-day baseline, the 7-day window and the period used to find the usual trading hours are all fixed and cannot be changed.
THE FOUR ROWS
Each row shows This week, Last week, and seven daily figures from oldest to newest.
- Post-loss oversize - entries opened within the fixed 10-minute window after a deal that closed on the minus side, at a size above this account's own 30-day baseline. This is the same definition used by the free Trade Behavior Mirror.
- Win-streak oversize - entries at a size above that same baseline, opened during a run of deals that closed on the plus side. This is the same definition used by the free Win Streak Size Creep Mirror.
- Symbols per day (avg) - how many different symbols were traded per day, averaged over the seven days. One decimal place; the other three rows are whole-number totals. This is the same definition used by the free Multi Symbol Chase Mirror.
- Off-pattern hour entries - entries opened outside the hours this account usually trades, where "usually" is computed from its own history. This row is the one with no free counterpart; it starts here.
The last line reads State: OK, or Collecting history while it is still filling up.
THE ALERTS (off by default)
When switched on, an alert fires the first time in a day that a new entry pushes a row's This week figure to or above its Last week figure. Maximum one alert per row per day, so it cannot flood you. The text is a plain statement of the two numbers, for example: Post-loss oversize entries this week: 3 (last week: 2). No instruction is attached to it.
BEFORE YOU TEST IT
The Strategy Tester's account history contains only the deals made inside that one test run, so a fresh test will normally show the panel collecting history from start to finish. That is how the Tester works, not a fault in the tool. Loaded on a live or demo account that already has trading history, the panel fills in from the first tick.
WHAT IT DOES NOT DO
It never places, closes or modifies an order; it has no connection to the trade side of the terminal. It uses no technical indicator and no second timeframe - the only material is each closed deal's own size, symbol, time and result sign. It does not tell you to stop, to reduce size, or to change anything; it states four counts and nothing else. It uses no warning colours and no emphasis, because it does not take the posture of correcting you. It reads one account on one terminal, and excludes deposits, withdrawals and other non-trade balance operations.
A NOTE ON THE SCREENSHOTS
Screenshot 1 was taken on a demo account that already had trading history. At the moment of capture, nothing in either week matched any of the four patterns, so This week and Last week both read 0 - 0.0 on Symbols per day (avg) - the Daily column reads seven zeros on every row, and State reads OK. That is the account's own measured history, not a demonstration setting: the panel prints what the history held instead of filling the table with a sample. Screenshots 2 to 4 are the same panel at the same moment, read three ways: screenshot 2 enlarges the four rows, screenshot 3 puts font size 7 and font size 12 side by side, and screenshot 4 sets out what the tool does not do. At font size 12 the chart used for these captures was not tall enough for all four rows, so the panel left out the last one rather than overflow. When height runs short it drops rows from the bottom in a fixed order; a taller chart shows all four.
RELATED TOOLS FROM THE SAME AUTHOR
Three free, no-advice indicators from the same author - Trade Behavior Mirror, Win Streak Size Creep Mirror and Multi Symbol Chase Mirror - each show one of the first three rows above as a single current value. Trading Cost Ledger, a paid tool, adds up commission and swap from the same kind of closed history. This dashboard takes those three patterns, adds the hour-of-day one, and sets all four out as this week against last week with a daily column, which the free tools do not show on their own. It was built on its own and needs none of them installed. The same author's MQL5 profile also lists paid MT5 indicators and utilities for gold-specific signals, trade risk limits and backtest-versus-live auditing.
