VibeFox CMF — Chaikin Money Flow with entry points
VibeFox CMF is a real-time Chaikin Money Flow indicator for MetaTrader 5. It plots the CMF oscillator in a separate subwindow, marks precise entry points directly on the price chart the moment a zero-line cross occurs, and wraps all controls in a modern interactive panel. Instead of manually watching a line drift above and below zero, you see the signal the instant it forms.
What CMF measures
Chaikin Money Flow is a volume-weighted oscillator that measures buying and selling pressure over a rolling Period. For each bar, a Money Flow Multiplier is derived from where the closing price sits within the bar's high-low range: a close near the high produces a positive multiplier (buying pressure), a close near the low produces a negative one (selling pressure). That multiplier is then scaled by the bar's tick volume to give a Money Flow Volume. CMF is the sum of Money Flow Volumes over the Period divided by the total volume over the same window.
The result oscillates around a central zero line, typically ranging between -1 and +1. Values above zero indicate net buying pressure — money is flowing into the instrument. Values below zero indicate net selling pressure — money is flowing out. The further the CMF is from zero, the stronger the pressure in that direction.
Entry points — zero-line cross
Zero Cross — BUY and SELL
The entry signal fires when the CMF line crosses through the zero line on a closed bar. When CMF crosses up through zero — moving from negative to positive — a BUY marker appears on the price chart, signalling that buying pressure has taken over. When CMF crosses down through zero — moving from positive to negative — a SELL marker appears, signalling that selling pressure has taken control. Detection runs on closed bars only; the forming bar is always excluded so signals are never redrawn.
Marker arrows are colored independently with Buy Marker Color and Sell Marker Color, and scaled from 1 to 5 with Marker Size.
Visual control
The CMF line drawn in the subwindow is fully customizable. CMF Line Color sets the line color, and CMF Line Width (1–5 pixels) controls its thickness. A dashed gray zero line is drawn automatically and always remains visible as the signal reference level. All appearance changes made on the panel take effect immediately without reloading the indicator.
Interactive panel
All controls live on a smooth canvas-based panel designed for fast mouse interaction. Parameters are arranged in neat rows with a dedicated ENTRY section so signal settings stay visually separate from line settings. The panel header contains the main control icons.
Power — enables or disables drawing of the CMF line and entry markers without removing the indicator from the chart.
Settings (gear) — opens and closes the settings panel.
Updown (arrows) — moves the panel between the subwindow and the main chart.
Close (cross) — removes the indicator from the chart.
Resizable — drag the lower-right corner to scale the panel to any size.
Collapsible — double-click the header to collapse the panel into a compact strip.
Mouse wheel — hover over any numeric field and scroll the wheel to change the value without opening the keyboard.
Settings and personalization
The Settings button opens a section where the panel adapts to your workspace: choose a light, dark, or automatic Theme that follows the chart background; adjust panel width, header size, row height, and font size to match your screen. Additional options include hiding the footer with Hide Footer, enabling a compact header when collapsed via Mini Header, and auto-collapsing the panel when you click outside it. Almost every parameter can be changed live on the panel; the Inputs tab provides only the starting values at launch. You can also run multiple independent copies on the same chart by assigning each a unique Instance number, letting you compare different CMF periods side by side.
Notifications
You do not need to watch the chart to catch a signal. Each entry can be delivered through multiple notification channels enabled independently on the panel.
Alert — a pop-up message inside the MetaTrader terminal.
Push — a mobile push notification to the MetaTrader app on your phone.
Email — a message sent through the terminal's email settings.
Telegram — the alert text together with a chart screenshot, sent straight to your Telegram chat.
Enable only the channels you need, and you will be notified the moment a new zero-cross signal appears on the symbol and timeframe you are monitoring.
Visual history — Html report
Enable the Html channel, and every entry signal is saved to an HTML report together with a chart screenshot taken at the moment of the signal. The report is stored in the terminal's Files folder under the VibeFox_CMF directory as result.html and opens in any browser — giving you a visual log of every zero-cross found by the indicator. The trash button in the panel clears the report and its screenshots in one click whenever you want to start fresh.
Telegram Alerts
Signals can also be delivered straight to your Telegram chat — the alert text together with a screenshot of the chart at the moment of detection. Turn on the Telegram channel and enter your bot token and chat id in the inputs.
Delivery rides on the HTML report: each new signal is written into the report, and the report — opened in a browser — forwards it to your Telegram chat on its own. For this reason, enabling Telegram automatically keeps the Html report on, and the two channels work together.

Parameters (Inputs tab)
Most settings can also be changed live on the panel (Settings button) — the input parameters set only the initial values at launch.
CMF
CMF Period (2..200) — rolling window for the CMF calculation in bars. Default: 20.
CMF Line Color — color of the CMF line plotted in the subwindow. Default: DodgerBlue.
CMF Line Width (1-5) — thickness of the CMF line in pixels. Default: 2.
Entry Points
Entry: Zero Cross (CMF crosses 0) — enables zero-line cross detection; CMF crossing up = BUY, crossing down = SELL. Default: on.
Marker Size (1-5) — size of the entry arrow marker on the price chart. Default: 2.
Buy Marker Color — color of the BUY signal arrow. Default: LimeGreen.
Sell Marker Color — color of the SELL signal arrow. Default: Red.
Notifications
Push Notification — push alert to the MetaTrader mobile app. Default: off.
Alert Popup — pop-up Alert window inside the terminal. Default: off.
Email — email sent through the terminal's mail settings. Default: off.
Html Report — saves each signal with a chart screenshot to an HTML report (Files\VibeFox_CMF\result.html), openable in any browser. Default: off.
Telegram — send each signal to your Telegram chat (alert text plus a chart screenshot) through the HTML report. Default: off.
Telegram bot token — the token of your Telegram bot, used to send the messages.
Telegram chat id — the id of the Telegram chat that receives the signals.
Panel / Settings
Panel width, px (300..800) — width of the panel in pixels. Default: 800.
Header size (1..6) — size of the panel header. Default: 1.
Theme — color theme: Auto (follows chart), Dark, or Light. Default: Auto.
Row height (px) — height of each panel row in pixels. Default: 34.
Font size — font size used in the panel. Default: 8.
Hide Footer — hides the bottom strip of the panel. Default: off.
Mini Header on collapse — shows a compact header when the panel is collapsed. Default: off.
Close on click outside — auto-collapses the panel when clicking outside it. Default: off.
Instance (unique per copy: 1,2,3...) — instance number; allows multiple independent copies on the same chart. Default: 1.
Panel Start Window — where the panel opens at launch: Subwindow or Chart. Default: Subwindow.
