Volume Delta Scanner is a real-time market scanning indicator for MetaTrader 4 that monitors multiple symbols and timeframes simultaneously from a single panel. Instead of switching between charts manually, you get an instant overview of buying and selling pressure across your entire watchlist in one glance.

The indicator is built on Volume Delta logic — it calculates the difference between buying and selling pressure based on candle structure and tick volume, giving you a direct and unfiltered view of market dominance on every symbol and timeframe you choose to monitor.

WHAT YOU SEE ON THE PANEL

The panel displays a clean table with your symbols listed in rows. Each row contains the symbol name followed by two signal columns and five timeframe columns.

Each cell shows one of three states:

▲ green triangle — buying pressure dominates

▼ red triangle — selling pressure dominates

— neutral dash — no clear dominance, market is balanced

THE M COLUMN — MARKET BIAS FILTER

The M column is powered by a proprietary price structure algorithm developed through years of live trading experience on gold and major instruments. The exact logic behind this column is my professional trade secret — but what it does is clear and measurable.

M reads the current market bias in real time — not based on lagging indicators or standard moving averages, but on a specific price behavior pattern that consistently precedes directional moves. This is the column that tells you whether the market is currently aligned with buyers or sellers at the most fundamental level.

▼ red — market structure confirms selling bias

— neutral — no confirmed bias, stay out

When M and S agree, you have two independent systems — one reading volume pressure, one reading market structure — both pointing in the same direction. This alignment is rare. When it appears, it is worth paying attention to.

The M column does not repaint. It does not lag. It updates live on every tick based on current price behavior. What triggers it is not something you will find in standard indicator libraries — it is the result of pattern recognition refined through real market observation over many years.

THE S COLUMN — VOLUME DELTA SIGNAL

The S column aggregates the volume delta readings from the selected number of timeframes and shows you the overall market pressure for that symbol. When S shows a green triangle, the average volume delta across the monitored timeframes confirms buying pressure. When S shows a red triangle, selling pressure dominates across multiple timeframes.

S shows a signal when the average normalized volume delta across the selected timeframes exceeds the threshold. This means S can react earlier than individual timeframe signals — a single strong volume imbalance on one timeframe can be enough to trigger S if its delta value is sufficiently high. The higher you set FastTF_Count, the more timeframes contribute to the average, making S more stable but slightly slower to react.

HOW TO READ M AND S TOGETHER

The real power of this scanner comes from reading M and S together:

M and S both show ▲ — strong buying confirmation. Market structure and volume delta both confirm buying pressure across multiple timeframes. This is your highest probability setup for a long entry.

M and S both show ▼ — strong selling confirmation. Market structure and volume delta both confirm selling pressure. Highest probability setup for a short entry.

M shows ▲ but S shows ▼ — conflict. Market structure is bullish, but volume pressure is selling. Wait for alignment before entering.

M shows ▼ but S shows ▲ — conflict. Volume pressure is buying but market structure is bearish. The move may be losing strength. Wait.

M changes direction while S still holds — early warning. When M flips from ▲ to ▼ while S still shows ▲, the buying pressure may be weakening. Consider tightening your stop or waiting before entering.

TIMEFRAMES MONITORED

The indicator monitors five timeframes simultaneously: M5, M15, H1, H4 and D1. This gives you a complete picture from short-term momentum to daily trend direction. The M column always uses its own dedicated timeframe regardless of which timeframes you monitor in the main table.

HOW TO USE IT

Load the indicator on any empty chart. Add your symbols to the Symbols input — as many as you need. The panel adjusts automatically to fit all your symbols.

During your trading session, scan the M and S columns first. When both show the same direction, look at the individual timeframe columns to understand the structure. If M5, M15 and H1 all show the same direction as M and S, you have strong multi-timeframe alignment. Open the corresponding chart and make your entry decision.

The scanner does not trade automatically — it gives you the information, you make the call.

SETTINGS

DeltaThreshold — sensitivity of the volume delta calculation. Start with 100 for most instruments. Increase to 150-200 for high-volume instruments like gold or Bitcoin. Decrease to 50-80 for low-volume pairs.

FastTF_Count — number of timeframes included in the S column calculation. Range 1 to 5. Lower values make S react faster, suitable for scalping. Higher values make S more stable, suitable for swing trading.

Symbols — comma-separated list of symbols to monitor. No limit on the number of symbols.

Table position, font size, colors for buy signal, sell signal and neutral state are all fully customizable.

The indicator includes a small toggle button that can be placed anywhere on the chart. A single click instantly hides the entire panel without removing the indicator from the chart. Another click brings it back. The button remembers its state — if you hide the panel and switch to a different timeframe or restart the platform, the panel stays hidden until you decide to show it again. The button position, size and colors are fully configurable through the Btn parameters in the settings.

COMPATIBILITY AND PERFORMANCE

Works on all symbols including Forex, indices, commodities, gold, cryptocurrencies and stocks. Compatible with all MT4 account types — live, demo, netting and hedging.

The indicator is built for minimal CPU load. All calculations are performed only on new bars and on a 1-second timer cycle. No heavy loops, no redundant redraws. Runs smoothly on VPS environments with limited resources.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Before anything else — after setting up the indicator and saving your final parameters, create a chart template with the instrument name. This way you can restore everything in seconds if needed.

If the indicator behaves unexpectedly or causes platform slowdowns, these issues are caused by accumulated data from previous chart configurations stored in your platform. Follow these steps:

1. Go to Tools → Global Variables → delete all variables.

2. Go to File → Open Data Folder.

3. Close MetaTrader completely.

4. In the data folder open the Logs folder and delete everything inside.

5. In the data folder open the Bases folder, then open your broker folder, then open the History folder and delete everything inside.

6. Close the data folder.

7. Reopen MetaTrader — everything will work correctly.

PARAMETERS SPECIFICATION

DeltaThreshold — minimum volume delta value required to trigger a signal. Lower values increase sensitivity. Higher values filter weaker signals. Start with 100 for most instruments.

Table_Corner — panel position on the chart. 0 top-left, 1 top-right, 2 bottom-left, 3 bottom-right.

Table_PosX — horizontal distance in pixels from the selected corner.

Table_PosY — vertical distance in pixels from the selected corner.

Table_FontSize — font size for all text in the panel.

Table_Font — font used for the panel text. The default is Consolas.

Table_FontColor — color of symbol names.

Table_HeaderColor — color of the M, S and timeframe headers.

BuyColor — color of the triangle displayed when buying pressure dominates.

SellColor — color of the triangle displayed when selling pressure dominates.

NeutralColor — color of the dash displayed when no clear pressure is detected.

Btn_Corner — position of the toggle button. 0 top-left, 1 top-right, 2 bottom-left, 3 bottom-right.

Btn_Size_mm — size of the toggle button in millimeters.

Btn_PosX — horizontal distance in pixels from the selected button corner.

Btn_PosY — vertical distance in pixels from the selected button corner.

Btn_ColorOn — button color when the panel is visible.

Btn_ColorOff — button color when the panel is hidden.

Btn_TextColor — color of the S letter on the button.

Symbols — comma-separated list of symbols to monitor. Example: XAUUSD, BTCUSD, US30, EURUSD. The panel adjusts its size automatically based on the number of symbols entered.
