ATR Volatility Histogram for MT5 – Technical Volatility Analysis

This indicator calculates and displays the difference between a fast ATR and a slow ATR as a histogram, allowing you to visualize changes in market volatility in real time.

Calculation
Volatility Difference = Fast ATR - Slow ATR

Interpretation

Positive values (green bars) indicate rising volatility and can confirm breakout momentum.
Negative values (red bars) indicate falling volatility, potential consolidation, or loss of momentum.

Possible Uses

Confirm breakouts when volatility increases during a price move.
Support reversal signals when momentum changes are accompanied by green bars.
Identify divergence when price makes a new high or low without a matching increase in volatility.
