IMD Trade Line MT5

The indicator scans your trading account in real time, analyzes open positions, and, if enabled, pending orders, then mathematically calculates two key price levels.
Breakeven Line (BE)
The price at which closing your position will result in exactly zero total profit. The indicator takes commissions and swaps into account, so you do not accidentally close a trade at a loss because broker costs were forgotten.
Target Line (Target/TP)
The price the market must reach for you to earn a specified amount, for example exactly 100 USD, or a specified percentage of your deposit, for example +2% to your balance.

Two Calculation Modes for Any Strategy

In the settings, you can choose how the indicator should treat your trades.
Separate Mode
Ideal for hedging accounts. The indicator calculates buy and sell positions independently. The chart will show separate breakeven and target lines for Buy positions and separate lines for Sell positions. This is perfect if you trade in both directions or use lock positions.
Combined Mode
Ideal for netting accounts and locked positions. The indicator combines all buys and sells and calculates your total net position. It displays one common breakeven line and one common target line for your entire portfolio of trades on the selected symbol.

Main Advantages and Features

Flexible Target Settings
You can set the desired profit in deposit currency, for example 50 USD, or as a percentage of your current balance, for example 1.5%. The indicator will automatically recalculate the target line when your balance changes.
Accurate Calculation
Optional inclusion of swaps and commissions makes your breakeven line mathematically precise.
Magic Number Filter
You can configure the indicator to calculate only trades from a specific Expert Advisor using its Magic Number, or all manual trades when Magic Number is set to 0.
Pending Orders Support
Enable this option, and the indicator will include Buy Stop and Sell Limit volumes in the calculation of future levels.
Fast Updates
A customizable timer, default 1 second, ensures that the lines move smoothly with the market.

Who Is This Indicator For?

Grid and Martingale Traders
When a grid has many open steps, calculating the total breakeven manually is practically impossible. The indicator does it for you.
Averaging Traders
Know exactly where the price needs to reverse for you to exit at breakeven.
Prop Traders
Visualize your daily profit target directly on the chart, either in percentage or currency.
Manual Traders
Save time and avoid mistakes when closing complex groups of orders.
