How It Works

Razor Gold looks for short-term breakout setups on gold, confirmed by trend, market structure, momentum, volatility, liquidity and spread checks. When a setup qualifies, it enters with a pending order and places the stop loss immediately. The XAUBOT AI Decision Engine can add trend confirmation, and the news filter can pause new entries around USD events such as NFP, CPI and Fed decisions.

When conditions are not right, Razor Gold simply waits. It can go hours without a trade, and that is by design.

Risk Control, Explained

  • Stop loss on every trade, sized so that a losing trade costs only the risk % you choose.
  • Break-even and trailing stop: once a trade is in profit, the stop moves to entry and then follows price to lock in gains.
  • Loss Lock: after 2 losses in a row, trading pauses for 12 hours.
  • Daily loss limit: if the day's loss reaches 5% of the account, trading stops for the rest of the day.
  • Cooldown and spread checks: a 15-minute pause between trades, and no new entries when the gold spread is too wide.

One trade at a time, no grid, no martingale and no averaging.

Choose Your Timeframe

Razor Gold trades the timeframe of the chart it is attached to, so you can pick the style that suits you:

  • M5 – More trades: more frequent, shorter setups. Use only with a very low-spread account.
  • M15 – Balanced (default): the designed default and the best starting point for most traders.
  • M30 – Calmer: fewer signals and longer holding times, less affected by spread.

Why your broker matters: Razor Gold trades often and exits early, so the spread you pay on every trade is a large part of the result. It does not open new trades when the gold spread is above 20 pips ($0.20). Look for account types called Raw, Raw Spread, ECN, Razor or Zero, and check the gold spread on a demo during the London and New York sessions before funding.

Is Razor Gold a grid or martingale?

No. It opens one trade at a time, and every trade has its own stop loss.

Which timeframe should I use?

M15 is the default and the best starting point. Whichever timeframe you choose, backtest it first.

How much should I risk per trade?

0.5–1% per trade is conservative; above 2% is aggressive. Start low for the first one to two weeks and increase only after you have seen real results.

Can I use it on a prop firm account?

Check the firm's rules on Expert Advisors and scalping, and set Max Daily Loss below the firm's daily limit.

Does Razor Gold guarantee a profit?

No. No Expert Advisor, AI system, live account or backtest can guarantee profits. Results depend on market conditions, your broker, your settings and your risk management.
