Artemis Gold HFT Throttle EA MT5 is a Gold-focused Expert Advisor for XAUUSD traders who want fast short-term automation with controlled execution, intelligent guard protection and clear dashboard visibility.

Most fast trading robots focus only on speed. In real broker conditions, speed without control can become a problem. Gold spreads can widen quickly, liquidity can change fast, order modifications can be rejected and aggressive request behaviour can create unstable results.

This MT5 version builds on the proven MT4 v1.4 Artemis Gold HFT Throttle EA and brings the product to the MetaTrader 5 platform with a cleaner dashboard, improved diagnostics, MT5-compatible execution handling and support for both hedging and netting account environments.

On netting accounts, positions are managed as combined symbol exposure. On hedging accounts, Artemis-managed positions are handled using ticket and magic-number logic where supported by broker execution rules.

Why Artemis is different

Artemis is not just another high-frequency Gold EA. It combines XAUUSD-focused trading logic with the Artemis Throttle Guard execution layer. This means the EA is designed to operate within defined limits instead of sending unrestricted trade requests into poor market or broker conditions.

The dashboard helps you see what is happening in real time. If the EA is not trading, the Why No Trade? panel can show the active reason, such as schedule closed, spread too high, risk guard active, throttle limit reached, volatility filter active or no valid setup yet.

Throttle Guard is the signature protection layer inside Artemis.

Instead of allowing unlimited trading activity, Throttle Guard gives the trader control over how often the EA can send, close, modify or delete orders. It can limit daily trade requests, actions per minute, time between actions and failed trade attempts.

The goal is simple: reduce unnecessary broker pressure and help the EA behave in a more disciplined way during fast-moving Gold conditions.

Built for Gold / XAUUSD

Gold is fast, volatile and highly sensitive to spread changes, news events, liquidity shifts and broker contract settings. Artemis is built specifically for Gold / XAUUSD charts and supports common broker Gold symbol variations, including suffixed symbols where configured.

The EA includes Gold-focused controls for symbol filtering, spread conditions, average spread checks, ATR volatility filtering, RSI confirmation, trading windows, weekday filters, Friday cut-off and manual news-pause periods.

Because every broker handles Gold differently, Artemis also includes broker diagnostics such as spread state, stop level, freeze level, lot constraints, tick value and symbol conditions.

Live Guard Protection

Artemis includes visual guard status so you can quickly see which protections are active.

The Live Guard Status area can show whether key conditions are OK, open, closed, blocked or paused. This helps users understand when the EA is allowed to trade and when it is deliberately standing aside.

Guards include schedule checks, spread checks, risk checks, throttle checks, broker checks and optional news-pause protection.

Risk and Trade Management

Artemis Gold HFT Throttle EA MT5 includes a dedicated risk-management layer covering fixed lot or risk-percent sizing, stop loss, take profit, ATR-based SL/TP, maximum open trades, maximum lot exposure, daily loss protection, drawdown controls, daily profit target locking and losing-trade limits.

Trade management features include break-even, trailing stop, protected exit tracking, exit reason tracking and optional time-based exits.

These controls are designed to make trade handling clearer and more structured during both testing and live/demo operation.

Dashboard, Diagnostics and Why No Trade?

The MT5 dashboard is designed to make the EA easier to understand while it is running. It shows account status, floating P/L, Today / Week / Month performance, spread conditions, execution state, active protections, broker diagnostics and current trade-management settings.

The Why No Trade? logic helps remove guesswork. If no trade is taken, Artemis can show the reason directly on the panel, helping users identify whether the block is caused by market conditions, broker conditions, schedule rules, risk protection or trade setup quality.

Strategy Tester Support

Artemis Gold HFT Throttle EA MT5 includes Strategy Tester support and diagnostic-style presets for users who want to confirm that the EA can open, manage and close trades correctly in the tester.

Normal live/demo settings may be selective and may not generate frequent tester trades. Dedicated tester presets are designed for operational checking and diagnostics only. They should not be treated as live trading presets unless the user fully understands the settings.

Recommended Use

Attach the EA to a Gold / XAUUSD chart and begin with the supplied low-risk or balanced set files.

Recommended timeframes: M1 and M5.

Test on demo first, confirm the correct Gold symbol, check broker spread and stop levels, review the dashboard and use the Why No Trade? panel if no trades appear.

For Strategy Tester, use the supplied tester diagnostic presets rather than live/demo presets.
