To start terminal the 'Portable' with a 'High' priority, you must use the "start/high". 

To do this, create a txt file with the following text: "start /high disk name:\ the name of MT4 installation directory\terminal.exe /portable". 

example: "start /high F:\ MetaTrader 4\terminal.exe /portable".  

txt file save in the MT4 Installation directory for example under the name: "High and portable terminal priority.txt"


This txt file rename as "High and portable terminal priority.cmd". 

 

 

 

For the convenience you can create additional shortcut on your desktop.

Guide to setting up a PROFESSIONAL ADVISOR contains a summary of the standard settings and review of alternatives: 

Optimization, OnTester calculation methods: provides additional methods to optimize trading strategies [testing > genetic algorithm > Custom], this parameter shared for all variables.

-calculation of interest.  < Percentage difference between net profit, total loss, maximum balance drawdown and maximum equity drawdown. > 

-calculation of the sharpe ratio. < SHARPE RATIO, calculated the terminal. > recommended.

-calculation of balance recovery factor. < Ratio net profit against the maximum balance drawdown. >

-calculation of equity recovery factor. < Ratio net profit against a maximum equity drawdown. >


 

Optimization, OnTester minimum Total trades: provides an additional choice to optimize trading strategies in the form of restriction of the minimum 'Total trades', this parameter shared for all variables.  It is recommended that you optimized at least 35 positions. 

 


Before opening next orders, check for losses of open orders:  provides the ability to verify the loss position, and do not open the following position in a losing position, the setting shared for all variables.

Magic Identifier: provides the ability to assign a unique identifier for the positions that are open in accordance with the MACD and MA trading strategy. The limited number of 99999, the restriction applied, because Adviser assigns an additional identifier depending on the selected timeframe.  Example: "Magic Identifier: EURUSD M5 = 591911, EURUSD M15 = 1591911".

The advisors controls the opening of a new bar and analyzes processing of each tick. This allows the trader to choose the price to opening position and prices for closing position.

A trailing stop is designed to protect gains by enabling a trade to remain open and continue to profit as long as the price is moving in the direction to profits, but closing the trade if the price changes direction. When setting a value of "0" setting is disabled.


Sensitivity of price changes (indicators): the provides the ability to set the sensitivity of indicators to changes of the price of the financial instrument. This variable allows you to make different trade conditions with the same indicator settings!
