Flash Alert

Flash Alert is a real-time market monitoring and alert tool designed for short-term and scalping traders. It continuously monitors rapid price movements, automatically detects sudden drops, sudden rises, and reversals after sudden drops/rises, and promptly alerts traders when significant market movements occur. It supports multiple alert methods.

Flash Alert is also a core auxiliary tool for the XAUUSD M1 Snipion short-term two-way trading EA, but it can be used with any trading symbol, such as XAUUSD, XAUUSD247, Gold, EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDJPY, and more.

Who is Flash Alert for?

Flash Alert is especially suitable for short-term / ultra-short-term / scalping traders.

In ultra-short-term trading, the market can move rapidly within seconds or tens of seconds. It is often difficult to detect such abnormal movements through ordinary price observation, while Flash Alert continuously analyzes M1 ATR and real-time price movements and sends an alert when the configured conditions are met.

It can serve as a core real-time market alert tool, helping traders detect sudden rises, sudden drops, and reversals that may affect trading decisions and respond promptly.

Detection Settings

• Sudden move threshold (ATR multiplier): ATR multiplier used to detect sudden price movements. The actual trigger threshold is Effective ATR × this value.
• Detection window (seconds): Time range used to detect sudden price movements, in seconds.
• Reversal recovery threshold (ATR multiplier; 0 = disable): ATR multiplier required to trigger a reversal alert after a sudden rise or drop. Set to 0 to disable reversal alerts.

ATR Settings

• M1 ATR period: Period used to calculate M1 ATR.
• Minimum ATR used in calculation (price): Minimum ATR value used in threshold calculations.
• Maximum ATR used in calculation (price): Maximum ATR value used in threshold calculations.

Alert Settings

• Alert on sudden drop: Send an alert when a sudden drop is detected.
• Alert on sudden rise: Send an alert when a sudden rise is detected.
• Alert on drop reversal: Send an alert when a reversal is detected after a sudden drop.
• Alert on rise reversal: Send an alert when a reversal is detected after a sudden rise.
• Alert language: Select the language used for alert messages. Supports 11 languages.
• Sound: Play a sound when an alert is triggered.
• Sound file: Enter the sound file used for alerts (located in C:\Program Files\MetaTrader 5\Sounds).
• MT5 popup: Show a popup alert in the MT5 terminal.
• Mobile push: Send alerts to your mobile device via MT5 push notifications. Before enabling, go to Tools → Options → Notifications in MT5, enable push notifications, and enter the MetaQuotes ID from the mobile app.
• Email: Send alerts by email. Before enabling, go to Tools → Options → Email in MT5, enable email notifications, and enter the SMTP server and other required information.
• Minimum interval between alerts (seconds): Minimum time between alerts, in seconds, to prevent frequent notifications.

Chart Display

• Show current status on chart: Display the current market status on the chart in real time.
• Chart status corner: Select the corner of the chart where the status information is displayed.
• Horizontal offset (pixels): Horizontal offset of the status information from the selected chart corner, in pixels.
• Vertical offset (pixels): Vertical offset of the status information from the selected chart corner, in pixels.
• Status font size: Font size of the status information.
• Normal color: Color used for the normal state.
• Drop color: Color used for the sudden drop state.
• Rise color: Color used for the sudden rise state.
• Reversal color: Color used for the reversal state.
