KS Fair Value Gap Alert

What is a Fair Value Gap (FVG)?
A classic 3-candle Fair Value Gap forms when there is a strong imbalance between consecutive candles:
Bullish FVG (potential support zone): High of candle [n-2] < Low of candle [n]
Bearish FVG (potential resistance zone): Low of candle [n-2] > High of candle [n]
These gaps represent areas of inefficiency where price is likely to return before continuing in the original direction.
Key Features
Automatically detects and draws FVGs as colored rectangles directly on the chart
Bullish FVGs — blue boxes
Bearish FVGs — orange boxes
Optional midline (50% Central Equilibrium level) shown as a dotted line — many traders use this as a conservative mitigation or reaction point
Configurable lookback period (default: last 7 days) to keep the chart uncluttered
Two mitigation modes:
Full fill — zone is considered mitigated when price crosses the opposite boundary
CE threshold — zone is mitigated when price reaches or crosses the 50% midline (earlier signal)
Body-only or wick-inclusive mitigation detection — use body-only for stricter, cleaner signals
Optional auto-removal of mitigated zones
Limits display to the most recent ~12 active FVGs per direction to prevent chart overload
Live rightward extension — boxes automatically stretch to the current bar until mitigated
Alerts (all disabled by default – enable as needed):
Zone mitigation (when a gap is filled → changes net FVG count)
Price entry into a gap (Entered but not yet Filled)
New confirmed FVG created
Early unconfirmed FVG detection (on bar [2] – very early warning)
Alerts support MT5 popup notifications and mobile push notifications.
Typical Usage in SMC/ICT Trading
In a bullish bias: watch for pullbacks into recent bullish FVGs (blue zones) for potential buy reactions
In a bearish bias: watch for rallies into recent bearish FVGs (orange zones) for potential sell reactions
Combine with other tools such as Order Blocks, Breaker Blocks, Liquidity sweeps, Market Structure Shifts (MSS), or Change of Character (CHoCH) for higher-probability setups
