I'll keep it simple //FOR ALL ROOKIES// SmartChoice is an EA to avoid, and here's why: It doesn't have a live signal, so if you want to get feedback on this EA from a real broker and compare its trades to its backtests: impossible. So it's a trap for rookies who only look at backtests. Secondly, backtests have nothing to do with actual trades, so what they're selling us isn't reality. On top of that, they constantly justify a big loss. Their reason? "This EA is recovery," so you're down almost 4000 pips on a 1-minute timeframe. Although I wasn't at a loss (+1.2% gain with 50k prop firm), it's a shame. You might have made more purchases if you were honest about how your EA performs in real time, even though it has errors.

Gabriel is very supportive and I appreciate the prompt response, make sure you reach out to him and get support before running the EA as it seems like an amazing EA for long term growth but if you have a small account and you want to grow it quickly please bare in mind that is very risky and not the EAs fault! ... I will update my review as I am running the EA now

In my opinion, SMARTCHOISE and BATTERY and are the best gold experts on the MT5 market today. Both deliver results using the tester strategy that are exactly the same as those on a real account, which is a testament to the reliability of an expert. Excellent EA. I have not had much time to test it yet (about two weeks), but so far it has been delivering very good results. I also appreciate that it is consistently updated, and Gabriel provides excellent support. I will update my recommendations over time as I continue testing, but at the moment I have no complaints.

One of the best performers on the marketplace, an absolute winner. It's a complex and delicate system though, so it will take time to find the right settings, but it's worth it. The support from Gabriel is exemplary, just keep up the good work!

The developer's efforts to update the EA are commendable, but the results are disappointing. Entry points and trade entry times need optimization. Most updates only add new features and do not improve performance. I stopped using it because it wastes money. Under these conditions, I do not recommend buying it, but if there is a change and it becomes profitable, I will write my opinion.

Update (April 2, 2026): V9 is showing profitable trades and significant improvement. Thanks, Gabriel, for your hard work.

I’ve been using SmartChoise for a few months now, I originally bought it when it was version 8.2, at the time of writing, after various updates it is now on version 8.7. From a user perspective, it can be quite difficult to understand. There are a lot of user-configurable settings. That said, the user manual is probably one of the best available to help you understand how to set-up the EA according to your own preferences. To be honest the Neural Network entries aren’t always the best, and sometimes the recovery system just doesn’t seem to like to kick in, so drawdown becomes inherent with SmartChoise. However, with proper risk management and a good general understanding of how the gold market behaves the EA can be very effective if used correctly. Personally, I’ve used it to assist manual trading techniques, and recovery of my own trades by using magic number set to ‘0’ zero. That’s my preferred way of using SmartChoise. I even use a tradepad to allow me to enter pending trades with additional magic numbers, so I can have multiple trades been recovered. I know friends of mine that choose to run Smartchoise set-up on multiple charts running the Neural Network strategy and this also appears to work well, which I believe is how the developer also uses his own EA. This way, you increase your exposure to the Gold market for additional trades. It stands out to me how each person I know chooses to work with Smartchoise in a different way. I think Gabriel has really created a unique EA and worthy of a 5 star review. He is responsive to questions, and obviously works hard to make the best of this EA for his users.

After renting it for a month, I decided to buy this EA. It works perfectly, and the seller helped me with everything — whenever I wrote to him because something wasn’t clear, he always assisted me and even created a set file for me. That’s why I decided to purchase it. It works great even if you start with a small amount of money. Small profits add up over time. If you follow everything that is written in the strategy or what the seller advises, there should be no problems. I can confidently recommend it to everyone.

After renting for a month and really putting this EA through its paces i am happy to report its a winner. i posted screen shots from Ulitmate Extractor in the comments they speak for themselves on the EA's performance. the only equity dips were manual closes by me that if i would have left be would have closed in profit. Cant beat the Black friday deal dont miss out.

Dont waste your money and time purchasint it.

It works well in an uptrending market but it’s very poor in a downtrending market. Needs to be made more adaptable and trade with the trend. Also, it is not clear if the EA actually matches the backtest. It never takes Sell orders, even though it shows several Sell orders in the backtest. Potentially this is not a legitimate EA. I encourage the Author to respond and explain why he is constantly updating the EA and then suddenly the unprofitable trades in the backtest become profitable, and why the backtest is showing Sell orders when the EA literally never executes Sell orders. As of now, I would not recommend this EA.

EDIT 1: Due to the Author’s comprehensive response, I am increasing my rating from 1 star to 3 stars. I will increase it further to 5 stars if the performance of the EA does eventually align with what is indicated from the backtests

EDIT 2: Still waiting on the Author to update the EA and improve its ability to trade. right now it takes zero Sell orders, and it keeps taking Buy orders during clear downtrends, while not taking Buy orders during price rebounds. Needs improvement ASAP. On the other hand, the Author has been responsive and says he is working on updates, so hopefully he can deliver on that.

I finally lost all my money today. Luckily, it was my smallest account at the Prop Firm! SmartChoice wasn't very smart today. Luckily, other EAs recovered the losses on the Prop Firm account.
