Stratégies optionnelles (Désactivées par défaut)
Vous pouvez activer manuellement deux stratégies supplémentaires pour augmenter la fréquence des trades et diversifier la logique d'entrée :

  1. Stratégie de Support & Résistance
    Détecte les niveaux de prix clés en utilisant les récents plus hauts, plus bas et zones de réaction pour identifier les entrées de trades à haute probabilité.

  2. Stratégie de Motifs de Chandeliers
    Utilise des formations classiques de chandeliers de retournement et de continuation pour confirmer la direction de la tendance et détecter des entrées rentables.

Notes importantes

  • Les comptes plus petits peuvent ne pas être idéaux pour la stratégie de récupération, car ils ont moins de marge pour absorber un drawdown.

  • Limitation des tests en arrière :
    Ce EA a été entraîné en utilisant des données historiques du marché, ce qui signifie que les résultats des tests en arrière peuvent ne pas refléter la performance réelle future. Bien que les tests en arrière puissent démontrer la logique et le comportement, ils ne garantissent pas les résultats en direct en raison de la nature adaptative du réseau de neurones. Pour cette raison, il est toujours préférable de se fier davantage aux tests en avant.

  • Les petits comptes peuvent ne pas être adaptés au trading basé sur la récupération en raison d'une capacité de drawdown limitée.

  • Il est recommandé d'utiliser un pourcentage de Hard Stop et un Stop Loss pour les soldes plus petits.

  • La stratégie de récupération vise à récupérer les drawdowns au fil du temps. Ce EA est conçu pour une croissance à long terme et régulière.

  • Désactiver le système de récupération ou utiliser une taille de lot fixe modifie considérablement le fonctionnement du EA et augmente le risque.

  • La taille de lot fixe désactive le calcul dynamique de la taille de lot du EA basé sur la force de la tendance, augmentant ainsi considérablement le risque et le rendant inadapté au trading de récupération à moins que vous ne gériez soigneusement le risque.

  • Un petit Hard Stop désactive la stratégie de récupération, transformant le EA en un simple robot TP/SL au lieu d'un système complet de récupération.

  • Concentrez-vous sur une performance stable et contrôlée

Comptes plus grands / Utilisateurs expérimentés

  • Peut explorer les paramètres de risque élevé ou extrême

  • Convient à ceux qui recherchent des rendements plus élevés avec plus d'exposition au marché

Configuration de base

  • Niveau de risque : Faible, Moyen, Élevé, Extrême

  • Style de trading : Conservateur (moins de trades, moins de risque) ou Agressif (plus de trades, plus de risque)

  • Hard Stop % : Limite le drawdown quotidien maximum (par exemple, 20 = 20%)

  • Max Spread : Contrôle l'entrée pendant les périodes de volatilité, ajuste automatiquement aux conditions du marché et du courtier actuelles

  • Trailing Stop Virtuel (caché) - Les niveaux SL sont uniquement gérés en interne par le EA. Cela offre une meilleure protection et évite toute interférence indésirable.

  • Pause du trading autour des nouvelles programmées en fonction du niveau d'impact (Faible, Moyen, Élevé)

  • Personnalisez le temps de tampon pour suspendre les entrées avant/après les événements de nouvelles

  • Note : Vous devez activer WebRequest pour filtrer les nouvelles

Commentaires de trade Chaque trade inclut un commentaire pour identifier la stratégie utilisée :

  • NN = Réseau de Neurones

  • SR = Support/Résistance

  • CD = Motif de Chandeliers

  • R = Récupération

Exemple : SmartChoise_4A_CD signifie qu'un trade a été ouvert avec un risque extrême (4), agressif (A) utilisant la stratégie de chandeliers.

Avant de trader en réel

Testez toujours le EA sur un compte démo d'abord. Cela vous aide à comprendre comment il se comporte avec vos paramètres choisis et vous assure que votre risque est conforme à vos attentes.

Pour diversifier le risque, vous pouvez exécuter plusieurs graphiques avec des numéros magiques différents.

Configuration recommandée pour les petits comptes :

Il est fortement recommandé d’utiliser un compte cent afin de laisser suffisamment de marge à l’EA pour gérer les transactions efficacement. Si la taille du lot est trop élevée, le système de récupération de l’EA peut ne pas fonctionner comme prévu, et le drawdown peut augmenter considérablement. Ajustez toujours la taille du lot ou le niveau de risque en fonction du solde de votre compte pour des performances optimales et une récupération en toute sécurité.

Saying “there is no stop loss” is not accurate. There is protection in the system, it just does not rely only on a traditional fixed stop loss per trade unless the user chooses to enable it. The EA includes multiple layers of account protection such as Daily Loss Limit %, Weekly Loss Limit %, Hard Stop % (EA trades only), Hard Stop % account wide, Equity Stop in account currency, Max Open Trades across the account, One entry across all charts at the same time, and the option to Pause the EA after a Hard Stop. On the trade management side, you can enable Take Profit in points, Stop Loss in points, Max DD per Trade as a % of balance, Lock Max DD per Trade to initial equity, and automatic pause after SL or DD is hit. So a fixed Stop Loss can absolutely be used if desired. However, the system is primarily designed as a structured recovery strategy where risk is controlled through lot sizing, equity limits, drawdown caps and exposure limits rather than a simple tight SL. Trading always carries risk, but saying there is no stop loss or no protection is not correct because all these protection tools are available and configurable by the user.

I want to clarify a key point: SmartChoise is not a scalper and it was never designed to open perfect entries with large lot sizes. Using it that way will almost certainly lead to losses. This EA is built as a risk-controlled, recovery-based system, focused on: managing drawdown, surviving unfavorable market conditions, and recovering trades over time rather than forcing fast exits. It is not meant to: trade very frequently, catch exact tops or bottoms, or generate quick profits with high exposure. When users lose money, it is usually because of: using lot sizes that are too high, very tight daily or weekly limits, expecting scalper-like behavior, or not giving the recovery system enough room to work. All accounts I have shared publicly have never blown an account, they experienced drawdowns, but they always recovered, which is exactly what the EA is designed to do. Updates are not about chasing short-term performance. They focus on stability, safety, and adaptability. This will not appeal to everyone, and that’s fine. If someone is looking for an aggressive scalper, SmartChoise is simply not the right tool.

I’ve been using SmartChoise for a few months now, I originally bought it when it was version 8.2, at the time of writing, after various updates it is now on version 8.7. From a user perspective, it can be quite difficult to understand. There are a lot of user-configurable settings. That said, the user manual is probably one of the best available to help you understand how to set-up the EA according to your own preferences. To be honest the Neural Network entries aren’t always the best, and sometimes the recovery system just doesn’t seem to like to kick in, so drawdown becomes inherent with SmartChoise. However, with proper risk management and a good general understanding of how the gold market behaves the EA can be very effective if used correctly. Personally, I’ve used it to assist manual trading techniques, and recovery of my own trades by using magic number set to ‘0’ zero. That’s my preferred way of using SmartChoise. I even use a tradepad to allow me to enter pending trades with additional magic numbers, so I can have multiple trades been recovered. I know friends of mine that choose to run Smartchoise set-up on multiple charts running the Neural Network strategy and this also appears to work well, which I believe is how the developer also uses his own EA. This way, you increase your exposure to the Gold market for additional trades. It stands out to me how each person I know chooses to work with Smartchoise in a different way. I think Gabriel has really created a unique EA and worthy of a 5 star review. He is responsive to questions, and obviously works hard to make the best of this EA for his users.

After renting for a month and really putting this EA through its paces i am happy to report its a winner. i posted screen shots from Ulitmate Extractor in the comments they speak for themselves on the EA's performance. the only equity dips were manual closes by me that if i would have left be would have closed in profit. Cant beat the Black friday deal dont miss out.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. However, giving feedback after only 10 days after you started using it does not reflect how the EA performs over the long run. In such a short period, it is better to only test and monitor the product to understand how it works. Please contact me and let me know what settings you used on your account so I can guide you properly. You also asked for a refund, but unfortunately MQL5 does not allow me to issue refunds. This is a platform rule, not a personal decision. I also noticed you did not reach out to ask for help with configurations or setup. To better understand your experience, please provide more details. Constructive reviews help improve the EA and assist other users. Very short comments without information do not add value. To anyone new: please run the EA on a demo account with the same broker for a few days to understand how it behaves. Start with a lower risk level and adjust gradually as you become more comfortable. Stay tuned for updates, I’m always working on improvements and new features.

It works well in an uptrending market but it’s very poor in a downtrending market. Needs to be made more adaptable and trade with the trend. Also, it is not clear if the EA actually matches the backtest. It never takes Sell orders, even though it shows several Sell orders in the backtest. Potentially this is not a legitimate EA. I encourage the Author to respond and explain why he is constantly updating the EA and then suddenly the unprofitable trades in the backtest become profitable, and why the backtest is showing Sell orders when the EA literally never executes Sell orders. As of now, I would not recommend this EA.

EDIT 1: Due to the Author’s comprehensive response, I am increasing my rating from 1 star to 3 stars. I will increase it further to 5 stars if the performance of the EA does eventually align with what is indicated from the backtests

EDIT 2: Still waiting on the Author to update the EA and improve its ability to trade. right now it takes zero Sell orders, and it keeps taking Buy orders during clear downtrends, while not taking Buy orders during price rebounds. Needs improvement ASAP. On the other hand, the Author has been responsive and says he is working on updates, so hopefully he can deliver on that.

Thank you for the detailed feedback. This helps me improve SmartChoise and also clarify how the strategy works.
Below are the key points you mentioned and my responses:
1. Uptrends vs downtrends
SmartChoise is trained specifically for XAU/USD. Gold has spent most of the past decade in a bullish macro trend, so naturally the neural network has historically detected bullish continuation patterns more frequently.
I am continuously working on improving bearish trend adaptation by expanding the training dataset and adding better volatility-regime detection. Each update has strengthened trend recognition in both strong downward moves and sudden reversals.
2. Backtest shows Sells, live did not
The neural network does execute Sell signals, but only when market structure meets its confidence conditions.
In live trading, spreads, slippage, time filters, or entry-safety rules can filter out Sell trades that would show up in a perfect-fill backtest environment.
3.Frequent updates and shifting backtests
SmartChoise does not repaint any trade decisions.
Updates come from re-training the neural network on more recent market behavior and refining feature sensitivity. When the model improves, poor historical entries are naturally removed and better ones are introduced.
This means:
• Stronger live performance
• Reduced drawdown exposure
• More stability during high volatility
• Better understanding of current market patterns
4.Legitimacy and risk controls
Yes — SmartChoise uses no martingale and no grid.
Risk can always be capped by rules:
• Hard Stop
• Max positions
• Dynamic lot sizing controls
• Multiple optional trade-safety filters
It has been running successfully for around eight months with strong results.
Over roughly the last eight months, results have been strong under documented risk settings. The only notable drawdown clustered during a one-week period of aggressive gold selling that was driven primarily by news and external shocks. Under such conditions, strict risk filters may suppress short entries even when the backtest shows them, which can look like a discrepancy if the live environment is more stressed.
Most larger drawdowns came from accounts that:
• used too high risk levels
• ran multiple charts increasing exposure
• had no Hard Stop
• had no trade-management filters enabled
Most issues I have reviewed involved elevated risk settings, running multiple charts that increased exposure, missing hard stops, or disabled safety filters. With conservative risk and the provided trade-management settings, accounts have remained within expected risk and recovered normally.

Based on the accounts I’ve shared in the manual, the EA has consistently performed well without losses. Your review also does not explain why you consider the EA “bad,” which makes it difficult to address any specific concerns. I noticed you didn’t contact me for guidance before posting this. All shared accounts are performing properly, and it appears your review may be more focused on harming the EA’s reputation than offering constructive feedback. I finally lost all my money today. Luckily, it was my smallest account at the Prop Firm! SmartChoice wasn't very smart today. Luckily, other EAs recovered the losses on the Prop Firm account.

You have multiple options for this:
Auto lot size multiplier (1 = Default, 0.5 = Half, 2 = Double)
Fixed Lot size (0 = Auto)
Fixed Lot size based on % of balance (0 = Disabled)
Fixed Lot size based on % of equity (0 = Disabled)

User support is very fluent - although I have no experienced any issue with the setup, the developper was responsive to my messages. The EA has showed an outstanding performance with close to no DD. I use it with low risk and conservative mode, without recovery for 3 months. This EA is standing out for its performance and relaibility. I have posted the results on my real account in the comment section - since it is no possible to post pictures on reviews. Good job Gabriel !!
