A regression channel in MetaTrader 5 with the real residual image of lines.
The Regression Channel consists of two lines, which are equally distant up and down from the regression trend line. The distance between the borders of the channel and the regression line is equal to the deviation of the maximum Close price from the regression line, only this definition is consistent with the recent regression points. It has been noticed that regression channel lines are redrawn with each new bar, so only the most recent points are valid. As a result, the drawn channel does not coincide with the history. In order to see the real state of regression over time, instead of plotting the regression lines which are constantly redrawn, the real state at each moment of time should be better reflected on each point on a chart. This is the main difference of the indicator from the traditional regression.
